If you love a good Italian Hero. Get “The Godfather”. It truly is The Godfather of Italian sandwiches. From Sandwiches, to Sushi, to the bakery, and the butcher shop. This is a 5 star establishment through and through. Price is higher than most other places but you get what you pay for.

I lived in Maspeth Queens growing up and my mom only shopped at Ivarone!! I was so happy when they opened in Wantagh!! The best Italian store on Long Island!! Nothing compares!!!

I ordered the Thanksgiving dinner for 12, as I have a few times in the past. I ordered the ready oven turkey because I like to cook it myself. It came with 2 delicious sides, gravy, cranberry sauce, corn bread and a pie.. As always the food was amazing, the portions were generous and the delivery was reliable. I was beyond happy and will order from here every year.

Best ravioli around by far and the best marina and tomato sauce it's like addictive. The beef stew is so good, ready made chicken cutlets are amazing too just everything....

My wife shops there on occasion and brings home their packaged meals for the family. Some of the food is good but most things are overpriced and bland. I would rather get takeout from a local restaurant for the same price if not cheaper with better tasting and fresher food.

I went yesterday for the 1st t8me because a friend recommended it. But after I was made fun of for ordering a sandwich will never ever set my foot there again it is not nice if you need little help with ordering for the 1st time. Sandwich was OK little better then wawa one

Since 2004, I have been shopping in this store. Lately it has NOT been what it use to be. I frequently but the fried eggplant to make rollatine or parmigian. The last three times they have become worse than the time before. Burnt, Uber thin and split down the middle. At 2 dozen I can use about half. Very disappointing. Going to have to look elsewhere, at those prices not worth it. Also fresh mozzarella was gritty and not so fresh tasting.

I ordered a gift basket. It came damaged but thanks to Dave in the New Hyde Park location, the 2nd basket came perfect and is beautiful. Top notch company- will def. order from again.

I have been going to Iavarone for years, mostly for the fish and produce. I have always appreciated the high quality of food. I recently went there after buying some swordfish which we found to be hard and rubbery. It wasnt spoiled, but just wasn't up to their usual high standards. We were having guests, so we ate it. Being dissapointed, I went to Iavarone the next day to let them know. I brought in the bag with the label . I explained that I come there frequently. I was acutally quite disappointed and suprised when they told me there was nothing they could do without the fish, expect to let the fish department know. I will probably go there again, but thought this was a very poor example of customer service.

I have just about had enough of the lack of customer service. There is one deli guy who is the worst. Knew I was going to have an issue when my number went to him and essentially refused to help me. Just just nasty and will no longer go there.

This Italian style market has a variety of prepared meals as well as excellent produce, meats, a fish market and bakery. Very clean. Staffed with helpful and friendly people.

Very good. I love their food, especially their chicken and rice soo good!! Rolls are really good and the bakers constantly bake all day so they are always fresh! My only issue is the melon balls. When I had opened them up they tasted sour. I don't know if they had a problem with their refrigerator section but that usually never happens. But overall good.

Always go here. Food is top notch. Do recommend.

We have been ordering 6 foot heroes for our holiday parties from Iavarone for many years. We always ordered it the same way. 1/2 Italian and 1/2 Chicken cutlet. Today, we were told we couldn’t have it that way anymore. Only 1/2 Italian and 1/2 American. We called another establishment that told us they would make it any way we wanted it. Not sure what changed, but I guess I’ll be ordering elsewhere from now on.

Really love the great selection of pastry, bread, meat and fish. I especially appreciate Alex in the seafood department, he really knows his stuff and it's super helpful.

A very good selection of Italian delicacies and produce. However, my 2 stars are purely for the complete disregard for customer service here. I don’t know why I continue to subject myself to the blatant rudeness and sarcastic attitudes of the people that work here.

Called them up on a Wednesday for a 40 person catering order for that coming Sunday. The ordering process was simple, quick, and done right over the phone. Everyone at my event raved over the food. I got compliments from everyone!! They included everything you needed from napkins, utensils, plates, racks and sternos to their amazing food, rolls, bread and butter. I would definitely use them again in the future for any event I have.

Extremely fresh food, very friendly staff. Best beef braciole I’ve ever had!! Great cannoli cake. I’ve honestly never bought and eaten anything bad from Iavorone’s. Everything they have to offer is amazing

bought meat here yesterday from the meat department and even asked the butcher how long to cook the chicken for and at what temperature, got severely sick from the chicken even after only two bites (tasted very sour and off)

Good high quality market, got some nice steaks there today and stuffed chicken breast, good stuff. Veggies looking good also grabbed some corn and string beans to grill

Last 2 times their potatoe salad has been hard as a rock! Disappointing because it’s usually so good! Going elsewhere from now on!
