👍👍 I received my bachelors and graduate at Mercy. The school has a very good reputation with companies nationwide. They have excellent professors and many of their professors come from Columbia University and NYU. I'm sorry to see that some folks did not have the same academic experience as I did. Ho... I received my bachelors and graduate at Mercy. The school has a very good reputation with companies nationwide. They have excellent professors and many of their professors come from Columbia University and NYU. I'm sorry to see that some folks did not have the same academic experience as I did. However, I believe that at the end of the day you have to make your own college experiece. Personally the college life at this school is the same you will find in any college. Before Mercy I attended two very well-known prestigious private colleges. Mercy's College life is just as good. Remember, you have to make a decision to make sure that your college life is memorable and that you are not only making memories with your classmates but that you're also achieving a successful academic life as a student.

At Mercy, they keep the tuition costs low but you get access to instructors and faculty that also teach at the Ivy League level schools in the NYC area. It is a great discount and a great education. Mercy College has done a lot of work over the past few years to completely update the campus facilities and dorms. There has also been significant changes to the Manhattan campus. The college cares about the experiences and lives of it's students which is why it has spent significant money and resources to improving the facilities and culture around campus to build a true residential community that benefits both the residential students and commuter students. All of the campuses are gorgeous and provide top notch access to education for the students.

I cannot believe the unprofessionalism of this school. Eager students apply to the school in hopes of atleast hearing some information back but this school does NOT do that. My husband who applied to Mercy’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program spent precious time working tirelessly to achieve all the necesarry pre requisites, letters of recommendations, volunteer hours, spending hundreds of dollars on applications, travelling for inteviews ALL FOR NOT EVEN AN EMAIL, PHONE CALL OR LETTER saying anything. We have reached out plenty and no one “ knows anything.” I am just in shock at how a “Doctorate Program” runs so unethically.

It's a great college, i have not had a problem with them. Their pact program is nice since they are constantly updating you on your academic progress and give you tips on how to improve. over all its a nice college.

Mercy College and the overall experience has been grand. I was a transfer and they accepted most to all of my credits, and the PACT officers and head of departments have had have been more helpful than I could ever imagine. I have to say however, that the program I am in caters more the those who are already working in the field. As someone who is not yet there, and focusing on my studies first, I feel I am struggling to keep up. I also came from WCC which had its own problems. However, they had a HUGE student community. Here I have to say the lack of student events, club run activities, or even openness of club activity is a bit of a let down.

I've attended this college as a part time student for some time now. My only complaint is that the requirements keep changing for certain degrees making planing ahead difficult. Tuition is fair for the Westchester area and some teachers are great.

School administration in terms of handling VA veterans benefits is terrible, completely incompetent. I graduated over a year ago and am still having issues, he school says I owe money and continuously send me notices saying I’ll be sent to collections for non-payment, when the real trouble is they didn’t report my VA benefits claim correctly. Also, the whole time I was at Mercy I would get a new counselor/student advisor every year or less, the last year I didn’t even have one. Turnover is high... there must be an internal reason.

Went for a Dobbs Ferry Covid-19 drive-in movie night. Another fantastic idea from Kendra Garrison and her team. Great fun for all ages. Even the cars were socially distanced.

Got my bachelors degree in business/finance here. Here’s the thing, this college is SUPER easy. Like, easier than any school I ever was in. By a long shot. Everyone passes by doing the bare minimum. If you even pretend to care you’ll do great. The downside is there is no social element to the school. Never really made friends, no girls that are flirty, no guys to hang with after classes or down to go out on the weekends. You will basically have no social life here lol. 🤷🏻‍♂️

To me Mercy college was the worst experience, it made me never want to come back to NYC. The tuition cost is definitely not worth it. The food quality was bad and poorly prepared, also found hairs in my food frequently. The workers at the canteen tried mostly to make me and every one else to overpay, and deny including certain things that were supposed to be included in your meal, according to the meal plan. The education level.. mostly I learned by my own initiative, not from the professors and homework. For example, my Software teacher did not appear for our first class, since she did not know how to use Zoom. The dorms did not impress either, I understand they saved money there even in Manhattan, where it was supposed to be new. The last and the biggest headache was to just withdraw from the study. The administration was messy, unhelpful and unprofessional in this case. I had to BARGAIN for the price of just leaving, right before the semester started. The price seemed like depends on who it concerned. My friend who had contacts didn't need to pay at all, and someone else paid less than me. The first price I got was crazy stupefying, then after ALOT of arguments from my side, and a lot of avoiding me with no response, and mostly late and unhelpful responses, it got down, significantly. I'm just happy this nightmare is over. list of disappointments could continue...
