A nice Taco shop, I tried the Pastor and Suadero tacos. Both were good, but I liked the Pastor better. Line could get long, but it moves pretty fast..

Incredible tacos! The pastor was so tasty, highly recommend! The suadero was also really good. Small place with a simple menu. A handful of stools inside and outside to enjoy your meal quickly. The tacos come fairly plain (which I love) and then you can add to them as desired.

Nice place to get a snack or a meal. Tried the Campechano and Al Pastor this time and there was a nice kick to them. The salsa was great as well, tempered the spice a bit. Was lucky enough to come at a time where there wasn’t much of a wait so was able to snag a seat. Service was super fast as well!

Best tacos in NYC. Los Tacos No. 1 are a close second, but these have my heart. Recommend getting here when they open or you’ll be waiting in a bit of a line. It goes fairly quickly though. The Al Pastor are the best move here. Get as many as you can eat. The other tacos are amazing as well, but that one stands out the most. They have toppings on the bar behind the counter. No takeout - only eat in, which is authentic CDMX style. Tacos should be eaten immediately! I come here at least once a month - always hits the spot.

Great tasting yet affordable tacos. This was my second visit to Taqueria Ramirez, and I have to say they have improved a lot. First off, they now accept card and NFC (tap to pay) payments. Second, it looks like they revamped the interiors to make it look more accommodating. Third, not sure how the staff does it, but the counters are much cleaner than I remember! Props to the staff for successfully multi-tasking. Now to comment on the food: Their tacos are great. They're fairly small, so expect to order 2 to 3 tacos per person. They have a wide selection that can cater to everyone (I believe the Nopales is all veg). My personal favorites are the Pastor and Campechano. There is a "salsa" bar on the side where patrons can get lime slices, green (mild) and red (spicy) hot sauce, and napkins. The even have a big ol' bottle of hand sanitizer so you can rinse your hands after eating those oily (yet crazy good) tacos. Lastly, they have a coat rack by the corner and a bathroom! Would always make it a point to go here when I crave tacos. 5 stars

Tried the pastor and tripa tacos with a mexican drink on the side. Overall, the meat was extremely tasty and paired well with the soft corn taco plus sides. More flavorful and a better value than Los Tacos No. 1 in my opinion. Only negative is the store is small and dine-in only. Although, I don’t think tacos should ever be taken home before being eaten. 😉

An absolute local gem with incredible tacos - by far the best i've ever had in nyc! 🌮🤌✨ Authentic flavors straight from CDMX. We got almost one of everything off the menu and my personal favorites were Tripa (beef small intestines) and Campechano (beef + pork sausage). The flavors were amazing and they just melted in my mouth. We had to get another round of tacos after we finished them because they were just so damn good. The Nopales (sauteed mexican cactus) taco was also very interesting, for this was my first time trying them. You're also free to put on as much topping as you want on your tacos, which i liked. This place is very popular so if you don't go early, you're most likely to wait in a line. Recommend visiting on a weekday during the day to avoid the long waits!

Wow! These tacos are AMAZING! I never thought I’d enjoy tacos as good as the ones in Mexico City but Taqueria Ramirez has done it! 🌮 I enjoyed the Pastor & Chamchura. Both were so flavoursome and jam packed with goodness. The quality was unreal, so fresh and delicious. The staff are great and having a great time. Highly recommend! Line moves fast too.

Taqueria Ramirez is for sure the best taco spot in Williamsburg. You must get the Al pastor! It will be the best one you had in your life if you haven’t been to Mexico. The place could get really busy so it might be a good idea to come during the week between 3-5pm where it’s not so busy.

Best tacos I've ever had . Bar none. It's a super small restaurant with not many seats but it's perfect for a quick bite. It was a long line but it moved rather quickly . Definitely recommend.

Dynamite tacos! I tried 3, the cactus, the pastor & the beef (that’s rarely served in America, but is very popular in the Mexican region that inspires the menu) and they were all amazing. When I visited, they had consume as a nightly special, which was perfect on a cold January night. I can’t wait to go back and try the tripe and more of the pastor! (It’s both tender & crispy, a perfect mix of protein from the vertical spit) stop reading this and just go!

Top top top taco place in Brooklyn! As we expected, there were at least 10 ppl waiting in the que, however, we waited for 15-20min to be seated. Indoor space are separated to parts. 6-8 could fit at the bar seats, and another 6-8 at the window seats. No need to worry, there are plenty of seats for make it to go and enjoy your tacos. Their menu was fine as hell. Not like typical taco, but they had their outstanding recipe of making their own style of it. Taste amazing, service is sweet, neighborhood was charming Must try when visiting GreenPoint!

The best tacos I’ve ever had, ever ever ever ever ever!!!! I’ve never experienced the concentration of flavor like the is before. We literally couldn’t stop talking about these tacos for days!!! Plan to go 5 min before they open to avoid a line.

I heard that this little taqueria on a quiet street off Franklin had great "authentic" tacos. The rumors are true!!! Worth waiting on the line outside. It's a tiny space so there's always a line, but it moves quick. There's six types of tacos and all were delicious. The Suadero was my favorite though. Banging! Once inside, you order, leave your name and catch a seat. We sat outside. Weather was pleasant, tastes buds were overwhelmed, a light breeze blew. Life is great. Taqueria Ramirez is great. Enjoy

Yo quiero! Heard the hype and had to see what it was about… Was on line before the establishment opened and was so thrilled to be one of the first diners to be let in. I put in my order and grabbed a seat right in front of all the action. From the music, to the simmering braised meats, and fresh pastor being roasted and cut from the vertical spit will make you feel like you’re dining in Mexico City. I wasn’t too thrilled about the tripa, but recommend the pastor or suadero. Top off your tacos with the all the fixins at the condiment station. Was it the best tacos I’ve ever had? Well, it’s a good spot to hit up if you’re in the area, but I’ve definitely had better.

It's one of the best taco places in New York. Yes, there is almost always a line, but trust me when I say it's so worth the wait. The last time I was there, I left in a taco 🌮 coma, and I can't wait for my next time. My recommendation is as many "Al Pastor" tacos that you can handle and a few Mexican Coca-Colas. Careful with their sauces. Some are straight fire🔥 but oh so good. One thing to take note of is, they don't have any type of containers for you to take your tacos in so if you want to eat some incredible tacos in the comfort of your homes, you better bring your own topper ware.

This is definitely an authentic restaurant for a legit al pastor tacos. But I wouldn't say they're the best tacos I have ever had. The place is great to try at least once. The line is worth the wait and the Saudero (beef) is full of flavor.

Great taco place in New York. It actually has good taco de nopales that are actually worth ordering. And for the most part is vegan - plant based- they have something on their sign that says made with lard. So make your own call

One of my new favorite spots. And I can say that some of their tacos are even better than Casa Enriquez. My friend got nopal and greatly enjoyed it too. I love the homey feel of the place as well.

I'm not a big Taco girl but with Tacos like the one I had at Taqueria Ramirez, that could change. I had the Al Pastor Taco and it was 😋. The space is small but it has ample room to sit comfortably and enjoy your Taco. You can also sit outside right by the window. The place was busy but the line moves fast. The prices are amazing. Tacos are $4 and $5 . Also on the side counter they have Salsas, Limes and other things you can add to your Taco. The service is quick. I will definitely come back to try the other Tacos. This is another 💎 in Greenpoint.

It's a fine taqueria. Good sauces. Tasty not but a great value given the prices for "bite size tacos.". Honestly my biggest complaint is their tortillas taste store bought: I found them to be similar to the 20 for $2 Mission tortillas you can buy at any supermarket.

Incredible little spot in the heart of greenpoint. Super tasty tacos. I got the pastor, sudadero, longaniza and campechano and they were all incredible. Takes cash or card. Not the best place for vegetarians (they are missing out). Staff was super friendly. Limited inside seating but a small outdoor space as well. Check it out!

CDMX style tacos in New York, you can’t really beat that! Definitely my favorite spot here in the city which gets close to what they serve in Mexico City. The line does get a bit long but it’s well worth it as it’s a quick eats place where you order, put some salsa on, and then head out after eating. I know we’ll be back soon because the Pastor was phenomenal. Come here if you’re reading this - you won’t regret it and will be sure to come back for more after trying!

Waited for an hour on the line, ordered beef tacos, on the menu showed tomatoes, was missing asked to substitute with pineapple to add a bit of variety. The green sauce was great, though. The meat, honestly, had tasted better. They had no utensils and were uncomfortable eating with some spilage of the food with fingers. The music was energetic inside and lively. Overall, it was a pleasant ambiance for a one-time food experience.

The tacos here are out of this world. So good! The chicken, beef and pork all tasted very different. Service is very fast. Very busy with line ups (but moves quickly). A must visit.

Not an exaggeration when I say it's the best tacos in NYC (and I love Los Tacos No. 1 and Tacombi). While there's always a line, it moves rather quickly, and the brief wait is always worth it. The homemade tortillas are such a great complement to the meats, and the Pastor and Suadero tacos are so, so good and perfectly cooked. Taqueria Ramirez is absolutely worth going out of your way for.

Place is a little hard to find if you’re driving so make sure to look at google street view. This place has the best tacos I’ve ever had and even though it’s expensive $4 for one taco. I think it’s worth it. Space is clean and has some seats, not suitable for children as it can get crowded quickly. The red salsa is extra spicy but very delicious. The service was good. Suadero taco was what I ate and it was life changingly delicious. Never ate a better taco in the city. Veg option is the cactus which my friend devoured before I could take a picture.

Must go for tacos! It’s hard to find authentic tacos in the city but this one hits the spot. We loved the al pastor and campechano, though you should really just try them all. The nopales was my least favorite. The line can be long but it moves quickly. Can’t wait to come back!

Tacos are undeniably delicious. Definitely give tripa a try - it doesn’t taste as gamey as it sounds. The line usually moves very fast unless you are unlucky and they happen to make a new batch of ingredients.

This is a solid taco spot, which is hard to find in NYC. I had the suadero , longaniza, and Al pastor. At first, the tacos look super small, but they are very filling . I love that their tacos are simple but have such great flavor, and the hot sauces pair so well with every taco. Everything is made from scratch and is super fresh, and the meat is so juicy. It does get very busy, however the line does move fast. Great spot for lunch !

Best tacos in New York City. Real deal CDMX level stuff.

  • 5/5 Isabel L. 1 year ago on Google
Very minimal tacos done right. Each meat was so perfectly seasoned and juicy. They give you just a tortilla and meat so you can add toppings however you want. Dine-in only, though there was plenty of seating in and outside. Line was long on a weekend but moved very quickly.

Amazing tacos even if pricey. ~$10 for 2 tacos, but they're doing it right when they are packed and the quality is good. I particularly loved the al pastor taco, and the verde sauce had a nice little kick to it to accompany the flavor. Be ready to order when you get in though, and don't plan on hanging out long. It's a get in and get out place.

No hidden gem this place, the line was around the corner when we arrived at 2pm on Sunday. Not that it isn’t worth it, just come prepared for a wait. But they do run a pretty efficient operation - serving in batches so you have 10 or so minutes to take your spot at one of the seats and eat while they prepare the next batch. We got at least one of each of the six tacos they had and all were top notch, Mexico City style - as were the sauces they offer, which do provide a nice kick. Among the tacos, my favorites were the campechano - which is perfectly balanced and so flavorful and the nopales - Mexican cactus. I wouldn’t say this place is head and shoulders above others in the city if you know where to look, but props definitely - they make a pretty awesome taco - you’ve just got to wait a bit for it.

The spirit of a taqueria! Some nostalgic music. The staff joking, smiling, they enjoy what they do and it translates in superb tacos! Try the Tripa taco or the consomé. Musicians and taqueros will always surprise You with the B sides. If there’s a queue don’t worry it’ll move fast ant the food worth it

If you're looking for some truly authentic and delicious tacos, then this is the place to be. However, be warned that it can get quite crowded, so be prepared to wait for a table or take your food to-go. But trust me, it's worth the wait. The tacos al pastor are some of the best I've ever had, even outside of Mexico. They're packed with flavor and the meat is tender and juicy. And don't even get me started on the homemade tortillas – they're the perfect complement to the savory meat. I also tried the longaniza taco, which was good, but be warned that it's quite spicy. So if you can't handle the heat, maybe go for one of the milder options. Overall, if you're looking for authentic and delicious tacos, this place is definitely worth checking out. Just be prepared for a crowd, but trust me – the food is worth it.

Really tasty tacos! We especially loved the pastor and the nopale, but all the tacos were good. The salsa was nice and spicy! Good vibe, nice people. Will definitely visit again.

It is like a mini version of Los Tacos No. 1 in Greenpoint.

  • 5/5 Jonathan B. 1 year ago on Google
Damn good tacos. The pastor was really good. But the other ones were better. Tons of flavor great tortillas and a good amount of filling. Surprisingly the line moved pretty damn fast so don’t be intimidated if it’s wrapped around the block. Staff was quick and nice too. Def want to try these again.

I now understand the hype. Amazing! The line went fast- waited for about 15-20 min. Tacos were absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. Will definitely be coming back again! Please note there’s no to-go option. They give you tacos on a plastic, reusable plate which you have to return. Have a little outside area to eat them. Most people were enjoying right on the street.

Small hole in the wall taco joint. I had this once at a food festival which wasn't great so I didn't have high expectations. Boy was i wrong! The taco is on par or better than los tacos no 1 which I've had as my number one taco. The taco comes with a lot of meat and the crisp is great. It comes right off the spit.

  • 5/5 Nicholas M. 1 year ago on Google
The location is very small, but the tacos come out quick, and you can add onion, cilantro, lime, and salsa (mild or spicy) to your liking. I had the pastor tacos which were amazing, will definitely want to come back to try the other tacos.

  • 5/5 Ary 10 months ago on Google
The atmosphere is cute, just to small for my taste, but I guess it works for being in Brooklyn. The tacos are small, but very tasty. I did go, because Tik-Tok made me do it and not saying that the tacos are bad, because they aren’t just I do find them a bit soggy since I believe their tacos are cooked In lard for all. I’m a Taco lover so I guess that’s why I might be a bit pickier since I probably have tried every authentic Taco there is over NYC. Lol still wish them the best of luck, but if your going to have any of their Tacos def get their signature that they are known for which is their pork tacos.

  • 4/5 George E. 11 months ago on Google
This taco eatery has been on our list for a while. We came down when the weather scared away potential long lines. Upon arrival the wait was relatively short. The tacos are $5.00 a piece a bit pricey and extremely expensive making them the most unaffordable tacos in NYC. Two tacos and a drink can cost you an upwards of $15.00 which is pretty high. The taco quality is decent and you have the opportunity to serve up diced onions and sauce on your tacos. Only concern was the constant flies landing in and out of the condiments. Seating is awful and extremely limited. The place does not have a takeout operation which operationally is a logistical nightmare since the indoor space can hold about 10-12 people. My favorite was the taco al pastor.

By far the best and most authentic tacos in Brooklyn. As a So Cal native, I can’t say its the beat I’ve ever had but it is top tier. Bring friends here to show them what a real taco tastes like
