Absolutely delicious burger. I'm a more traditional guy and their regular burger is still out of this world. The onion rings were definitely a hit with me and my pop. He really loved their bourbon soaked pickles.

I have been several times. Food is always great. Wide variety of burgers to try. I like the "Spicy Goat" with mint jelly and goat cheese and bacon on the burger. (Pictured is my "spicy goat" with a side salad) Offer 3 sizes of burgers. 6, 8, or 12 oz burgers. Have gluten free buns, a mushroom and cauliflower burger for vegans, and one made with nuts, but I am allergic so I can not try that one. Great food and excellent, speedy service.

The Hops burger was delicious!!! Sweet potato fries- best I’ve had ever. Very good service

First: there is a kids menu but it’s not posted anywhere. You can get 2 tenders and a side. Or a 4oz burger and a side. The price was around $6.25 as of 9/9/23. It was a good amount of food for a kiddo and the price was what I would expect. I got the Diablo burger and wifey got the fiery goat. Both where really good! The Diablo is on the hot side but not so hot that it it ruins the burger and you can’t taste anything. I maybe wouldn’t order it again but that’s just so I could try different things. The bacon was also really good. It’s not like some places that use cheap thin back on. This stuff was thick, and you actually knew it was on the burgers.

The French Onion Burger is great Can't go wrong with the classic burger either! The Fries are wonderful especially the sweet potato fries. Also had the fried Cauliflower which was a wonderful surprise.

If you love onion rings, this place is tops. This evening, we had the Carolina Red Onion Rings. Crispy battered onion rings with a side of ranch. For our burger entrée, I had the Pickleback, and my angel life partner had the Hops Classic. The burgers are juicy and thick. My burger had a sweet BBQ sauce and another onion ring. For a tasty craft burger and great sides, jump on over to Hops Burger Bar. They even have a regular bar.

Came on a Saturday night and even though it was super busy we were able to sit at the bar right away, and only 25 minute wait for a table. The bartenders and the food runners were all amazing, food was phenomenal, and my jalapeño margarita was as well. Will be back! I recommend the goat cheese bite app I could’ve eaten all 5 to myself!

Was finally able to visit this place with hubby to pick up a call-in order. Oh my gosh, I cannot remember the last time I enjoyed a burger this much, and I actually ate the entire burger! The spicy goat is the G.O.A.T! The goat cheese was buttery, the bacon was delicious, and the pepper jelly was amazing. I had the sweet potato fries with my burger, and they were so so good! Hubby enjoyed his burger as well. The young lady who answered the phone was a sweetie pie too.. I think her name was Cameron. We’ll definitely be back, and next time I can’t wait to eat inside.

04Jun2022 Loved it, absolutely delicious burger, cooked to order, restaurants are getting away from cooking true medium rare burgers so it's always a delight when you can get it prepared the way you want. The burger was juicy and tasty, toppings were awesome, Applewood smoked bacon - yummy! I got the buffalo fries, boom - best fries ever, they were not stingy with the blue cheese!!!

I made my own burger with sauteed mushrooms, Swiss cheese, and brioche bun with mayo. I also had the sweet potato fries. This meal was awesome! Hit the spot. Also had a ginger beer drink. Delicious! My husband had the Buffalo wall of fries. I had a taste, and it was very tasty!!! Will definitely visit again!

Good spot. Loads of beers to choose from. Staff was super nice and happy to insight into the menu. Nice set up in there. But the burger, dang the burger is out of hand. The build your own burger was amazing. Different patty options, size of beef patty, toppings, condiments, and bun options. If you can get what you want here in a burger....your fault. Stop looking and head on in. Angus chilli on the burger was killer.

Arrived at about 3pm for a late lunch. I was immediately greeted and seated by Maria. She was also my server. I ordered the Classic Burger 6oz. It is available as a 6oz, 8oz or 12oz. The wait time for my food was short. Burger was cooked as I ordered it. Maria was very friendly and an excellent server! I tend to drink a lot, she kept my soft drink replenished constantly. The decor and ambience was good. This was my 1st time dining there, I will definitely go back!

Visiting the area and found this little gem. Food was great. Service was awesome. KP I as working bar and tables and was super friendly and made us feel like regulars. Highly recommend this place for a cold one and an amazing burger. I was with my father and niece and nephew.

Great burgers! Tried a new beer. A bit noisy but I know a lot of people like it that way. It was busy.

For the past 5 years I have visited Hops on Black Friday specifically for the "Gobbler" burger. This is the best burger on the planet pound for pound. I have been to a ton of burger bars, but Hops takes the mantle as the best.

Got the special, the southern pines burger with chicken and dumpling side. Burger was really good and meat cooked right. Chicken and dumpling side is not something I usually order but since it came with it, I went for it. They were really good, especially on a cold night. Creamy, flavorful, plenty of fresh chicken. Wife got build your own burger, Carolina style. She said hers was good too. Large selection of craft beers (tap and bottles/cans) and several domestics too. Looked like there were a few wine options and basic bar spirits. Service was great. Server was helpful and knew the menu items really well.

I got curious with the high praises and North Carolinian food here. Boy, it sure didn't disappoint. If the business can hook you up with fried green 🍅 just right. You're in the right place! Great selection of alcoholic beverages as well. My bartender, Richie, did very well taking care of me. I'll definitely be back for drinks and the food! Other pros: good amount of parking space. Bar seating, and vegetarian options available as well!

Fast service, attentive staff, great food. Excellent buttery melt in your mouth burger. The waiting area is small so opt for the bar if you want to avoid the wait.

We had a short wait but we were seated faster than expected. I had the featured burger...caprese with fried zucchini....it was really good. My dinning partners had the classic with fries. Service was great and everyone left happy!!!

The food was delicious! I definitely recommend the spicy goat burger! Soo yummy! Now, the service wasn't the best. I understand that they were a bit busy but it took 20 minutes for someone to come get our drinks and food and another 20-25 to get our drinks. All the servers would just look at our table and we would get ignored. Even the table behind us got their food and drinks before us and we were there before them. I would give them another try because the food is really good, but hopefully the service will improve by then.

I tried to surprise my cousin for her birthday on 5-16-23. She wanted to go to CharBar7 for the drinks. Well, I called, at noon, to find out about us going on a Tuesday night for 10 people. I was told that the patio was closed for a private event & basically the dining area is too small & during dinner rush at 7pm, so he couldn't accommodate us (African American). She wanted to go, so she called & was told something different by wait staff. (No band after dinner rush at 7:30pm & we should be accommodated). I called at 6:50pm to get on the wait list, I was transferred to the manager & was told AGAIN he couldn't accommodate 10, so I said 6, he replies, "If it's more than 6 I will have to turn you away." Basically it got worse as we got there & was never placed on the wait list. Needless to say I will never experience their service due to the African American manager I spoke to. We ended up at HOPS & was never told we could not be accommodated. They received a big bill from us & the wait staff got a GREAT tip!!!! Thank you HOPS for A GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!

So good so expensive but worth it! Appetizer’s drinks burger and truffle fries! Amazing food, the service was subpar at best! But will return for takeout

Had lunch here on Saturday while visiting a friend in Greensboro. Parking is very limited, so you might have to circle around a couple times before someone leaves. I ordered the Carolinian on a brioche bun with Sweet Potato fries. It was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a very long time. Meat was juicy, bun was soft and didn’t fall apart. I had a Dr Pepper with my lunch, I wasn’t up for a beer that early in the day.

Rated #1 in the country according to trip advisor and it did not disappoint the food is made to order. You can taste the freshness of the food we had the Diablo burger and onion rings where off the charts! I would highly recommend this place and the service was great as well so if you get a chance it is a must do yourself a favor and GO!
