Update: I was politely approached by management today and was give a proper explanation of lack of hand sanitizer devices. Both James and Tony responded to the issue saying one device has been installed and more will be placed in other locations. Both understood my complaint and insured me that it rectified. Also explaining the delay and apologizing. I appreciated the direct approach and thankful for the response. New management… beware. Current member at this location and considering canceling membership. Past two weeks hand sanitizer stations have been empty. Finally asked when I can expect them to be refilled and I was told at an unknown time that they’ll be installed. I pressed again asking and told that the one pump in the front desk is all that will be supplied. Told it was under new management. With Covid still a serious risk I feel this is a huge risk this management is putting on its customers.

Great staff, the staff is always cleaning day and night. Even the managers are hard at work keeping the gym spotless. I go at night when it's less busy, wish it was 24hrs on weekends.

James has been doing an amazing job! has really turned the place around, its so clean now! Great Gym!

Rude Manger James he's the absolute worst very, he didn't care about what i had to say. He over talked me cut me off when I was trying to speak he needs to be let go if he can't respect his customers. This location itself is good and clean but my sole reason as to why I'm leaving is because of him and I would not recommend no one come here and waste their money on this place

Customer service is absolutely terrible! I joined the Planet Fitness here in Waukegan during the pandemic. When I moved away last year, I both called as well as went into the location to let employees know that I was moving and I wanted to cancel my membership. I am still being billed today. When I called into the location to explain that I'm still getting withdrawals out of my account, the new manager, James was extremely rude over the phone and very dismissive. Denying any type of refunds before I could even ask the question, raises red flags about other customers possibly experiencing the same issue. When I spoke with the new manager, James, he was effective in canceling my membership immediately but was extremely rude and kept over talking me as I was trying to get my words out. I am just not understanding as to why when I called a year ago prior to James becoming the manager, why cancellation over the phone wasn't as easy as it was today. Very disappointed.

New manager and crew are doing a great job at treating constumers and cleaning. The management and crew during covid was horrible. They wouldn't clean-sure they made covid worst. Hope previous manager is no messing others Planet Fitness Gyms.

I have not been to the gym in month so I called to cancel my membership and they keep saying I have to come in in person, like I don’t have other things to do. I work and have 4 kids to watch. Then I get slammed with a monthly fee . $40 dollars I didn’t have now setting me back some more. I get they have policies but how can you not be able to verify who I am over the phone? Amazon let’s you cancel membership with no hassle and many more as well. Come on guys come up with something better. Way to ruin my day.

Got a day pass FIRST time ever stepping in ANY planet fitness, guy wouldn't even let me check the place out claims I've been to PF before. Lost a potential member. Never again. I'll pay more somewhere else.

This is my second time coming here and I like how by each workout station there is a cleaning station and to see people actually clean the machines after they’ve used them is great as well. I don’t live in the area but it’s really great to see the employees interact with the customers as you come in and they greet you. Such great customer service and the MOD Terry had an amazing personality and is super great.

Haven't gone here for about 6 months and every month they keep trying to take the monthly payments even though I've expressed to them multiple times I want to cancel my membership, but u can't just call them, u must either send a letter to corporate or go in to ur local gym to cancel.

The staff is always friendly and they do a great job at keeping the gym clean. The new equipment has been great as well, I love that they added more stair masters and smith machines.

Extremely nice staff, quiet gym, and easy to access all of the perks that come with the membership. Would recommend this gym... just don't go all at once, its MY favorite spot.

My favorite Planet Fitness thus far out of the different cities and states I have lived in. Staff is always so friendly and welcoming when checking in and leaving. Restrooms and equipment are always clean. Lots of equipment and space around the gym.

I really like this Gym, its very clean and staffs are friendly and greets well when we in & out. Especially Laura is very informative and proactively helpful in any on the Gym equipments. It was my first experience at the total body enhancement and she explained me very clearly about the working and an encouraging attitude.

I love having a membership w Planet Fitness! Staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable. Facilities are maintained, always clean (huge plus) and the location is convenient. Would highly recommend!

This place is great! I always feel confident, and I’m a beginner. Tony is a great mentor, he keeps the place comfortable and safe. I always feel not safe in public places but this is the definitely the spot to work out at! And super affordable :)))!!!

The staff is amazing especially Terry. The staff are always friendly and greet you by your name. They keep it super clean and are cleaning even during your workout. I love it here and would not go to any other gym.

Great gym. Everything is kept very clean and the staff is helpful and nice. My only complaint is that it can get busy at times so it seems like they don't have enough weight machines.

My experience here has been good so far. The only problem is the hours on Saturday they closed pretty early. I don't know probably not a lot of people coming by that day . It will be perfect if they will stay Open at least by 10pm. Instead of 7pm .

Hands down one of the best gyms I've been a member at. Recommended!

I love this gym. When it brought a new manager in I was iffy cause I’m horrible with new but the new manger Terry is amazing. I locked my keys in the car and he went above and beyond. I had to get my son from school and would have never been able too without his help. Not to mention they’re always on their toes keeping up with everything. I’d give 10 stars if I could. I’ve been there since 2018 and plan on going nowhere.

Lots of things to do, huge gym, several pools, open early morning till 10pm, indoor track mostly for walking, outdoor 3 laps per mile track at times very busy however nice community feeling.

My daughter loves going here every single day she would come, fun!!! Fully equipped gymnastics gym with coaches that teach on site at all times.

I appreciate Terry for helping me sign up for a free gym membership through my health insurance. He's understanding and very friendly. Thank you Terry!

This gym is CLEAN! I see the staff constantly walking around, going above and beyond to make sure the gym is nice and clean always. Equipment is always in good shape, and if any machine is down, they usually get it fixed fairly quickly.
