Great waitress always attended. 👌 The food is amazing. The Google reserve works amazing with them.

Overall I would recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a solid diner-style breakfast! The service was solid and my waitress was very attentive!

I ordered the chicken fajitas. It was very good! The meat is seasoned well. The meal comes with rice and beans.

Juan’s Chuck Wagon has the most incredible food. We traveled from Florida to enjoy their amazing breakfast. The food is so delicious. The portions are great. The staff is great. I wish we had a closer restaurant to go to more often.

I've always loved this cozy lil café and has been a local favorite for several years now. Despite being a breakfast/lunch venue, have always had breakfast here but would definitely love to stop in for lunch sometime. The Mexican/American food served here is always yummy and obviously cooked to order. Don't let the old building on the outside fool you. Venue/dining tables are always clean, prices are reasonable, love the food and customer service is always top notch.

This is a really nice place. The food is very poor quality. I wish it tasted better and it looks in the pictures. Everything I got was flavorless and didn't taste like restaurant quality. I visited on two different occasions and both times the food was poor.

Last time I was there the eggs were overcooked and the hash browns almost burnt. Everything was dry. And the chilaquiles were on fire super spicy! I know they have to cook fast but don’t let your food burn. 😕

My family and I loved going there but after a recent experience, we'll never go back again. They ended up charging us $15-$20 dollars extra on our meals. They never even said how much it would be, they just charged the card. When my husband got home he realized they'd charged him $86 dollars when it should have been around $60. The tip had already been left on the table. I called them back and I gave them a run down of the items and how much they cost (the cost per item was written on the side of the check) and she made up some stuff, but in the end she didn't know what to say so she hung up on me. Their food is good, but you just have to check your receipt because they will try to charge you a lot extra.

Customers BE WARNED; Do not place takeout orders. I literally bought food for my coworkers here, didn’t order much just four meals for four people. As I got to work I noticed I was charged more than the total of the whole meals combine. I, of course, included tax but it was still too much. I called and asked about their taxes. They LITERALLY charged me more because I used their takeout containers. They didn’t bother telling me nor did they have a sign stating they were charging extra just by taking out and giving away their “premium containers” like serve my food in paper plates then. Really ridiculous. Might even file a complaint to the BBB, never again. UPDATE; Was never called back after being told the owner would reach out. Cowards.

The french toast was good. We green and red chilaquiles were both good too. The red aren't spicy, but the green are. Service was very nice.

Best place to get your chilaquiles! The owners are amazing and the staff is very friendly. If your in Waukegan visiting or just passing through stop by and have some of their amazing meals. You won’t regret it ☺️

I always enjoy coming here for breakfast. I brought my son, raving about the food. But on this visit, it was not a good morning. The grits were too greasey, with lumps. They are usually so creamy. And the French toast was dry. This, of course, is not our last breakfast here. Everyone is entitled to an off day.

This place looks small from the outside, but from the inside, it is recently remodeled and expanded, so it is very spacious. The food is really good 👍 😋 and the coffee is great. All the workers are really friendly. Highly recommend.

The three of us loved every bite! Despite there being a staff shortage, the wait staff was attentive ( multiple people came and asked how everything was, or if we needed anything, throughout the entire visit). The food didn't take very long to come out even though the restaurant was really full.

We come from alabama once or twice a year to Waukegan to visit family. Jcw is always our spot for breakfast. The food is always I'll say it again always excellent!! I will be coming here forever!!! My husband(Columbus) is from Waukegan he kept talking about this place iam happy he brought me here!!😊😊

Local family owned small diner with Mexican cuisine and American dishes. Their Friday Fish Fry for lunch is nice. Staff is friendly and the place is busy enough without being too crowded for lunch.
