I've been going here for years. It's a fun spot with good food. Very popular on weekends so get there early if you want a prime time. I've also gone during the week and it has the same pull... I haven't had anything bad. I really enjoy this restaurant group and suggest you support them as well! Pictured is our recent to go breakfast - we also got a bottle of bubbly!

Blue's egg is a well-known Milwaukee area breakfast and brunch restaurant. I know it's well-known because I've been here on weekends for brunch where the wait can get quite lengthy! But we wait anyway because you can order a bloody Mary with infused vodka, coffee or mimosa at the cafe/bar, grab yourself some good company, and the wait isn't so bad- especially when you have a Blues Egg meal to enjoy in your near future! I've been here a handful of times, each time trying something new. Today we enjoyed the Pulled Ham Omelette with upgraded Aged Provolone Browns and the Rooted Veggie-Hash both with cinnamon-raisin bread. The Veggie Hash was a bit on the spicy side for me, but to be fair the chili hollandaise was noted in the description. Today we each chose a simple cup of coffee as our beverage. The staff at Blues Egg's are always so friendly and on the ball with the orders. They truly help to make your experience as enjoyable as possible when visiting. Pairing great service with great food in a classy and welcoming environment and you have yourself a great breakfast or brunch! I highly recommend trying out Blue's Egg, and you'll soon find out you will be a returning customer just like me!

This experience was fantastic! It's a busy place so reservations definitely recommended. We were served by Nicole this morning 100/10 she was amazing. Very respectful to our table and offered food recommendations to which we all ordered from and everything hit the spot. Food was fantastic, only minor complaint is that the place can get loud, but nothing that hinders the experience and nothing they can do about it being in that establishment. Highly recommend!

Passing thru town, searched for a brunch place with great reviews and came across this restaurant. Not quite the atmosphere expected based on reviews. But, I definitely won't judge a book by its cover. Pulled up a seat at the bar, servers were friendly, attentive and very helpful in assisting with order selection and to my surprise the food was delicious. Bonus, is I met a wonderful lady, Pat, who was originally from there but just visiting for a family gathering. If I could rate a place based on the engagement with her alone, they'd receive a 5. Always nice to meet friendly and encouraging people.

I'm so upset with myself for forgetting my leftovers on the table! I had the corned beef and leeks benedict with scrambled eggs and a side of their hash browns with cheese, onions, and peppers added. It was delicious! And my service was also amazing. I will definitely be visiting regularly!

Hopped off the plane at MKE, with a dream and hungry stomach.... Or something like that. Got a recommendation from our seat mate that Blue's Egg was THE place to go for brunch, and was not disappointed! The drink menu is insane, the ways that they inject alcohol into breakfast drinks is wild, and I'm 100% here for it. The food was amazing, got the Chicken & Waffles, would absolutely get again. Charity was our waitress and she was the bomb! So pleasant, and she had great recommendations for the menu & drinks! We will be back next time!

Wow. We were visiting Milwaukee and decided to trust Google to direct us to the best breakfast place. Google did not disappoint us. The food, top notch! The waitress was fantastic and described the ham and hashbrowns that they are known for. She sold us. And then to find out they make their own English muffins and make their own jelly...come on!!!❤️ We will definitely be visiting again when in Milwaukee.

Hands down one of the best American breakfasts I’ve ever had. This place has incredible bloody Mary’s with a homemade vegetable infused vodka and a chunky slice of bacon in it. They also have a good menu with typical brunch drinks and really great adult coffees as well. Their specialty is the stuffed hash browns. We tried the chicken chorizo with paprika aioli and the “browns” of the day which was stuffed with pulled pork and garnished with sliced radishes. We also tasted the corn beef hash which they make fresh and it was THE BEST. Prices are fair, portions are huge, service was friendly and welcoming. I over ate, and I would do it again.

I’d never been to Blue’s Egg but I stopped here after Googling breakfast restaurants and it was after breakfast time already, so I noticed people waiting and almost turned around but I went in and got a table almost immediately (of course I was by myself) and they were still serving breakfast and to make a long story short it was freaking amazing (BOMB A/F). I had the Dubliner Benedict, if I had to wait it would have been well worth the wait, I will definitely be back and if I could give more stars I would. Thanks 👍🏽👍🏾👍🏻

Nicely decored place. Waitress are really friendly and nice, but servers who serves food aren't really. Grapes are so sweet and fresh. We're amazed. Most choices are delicious and pretty looking. Nice experience.

Always brilliant. Breakfast/brunch at its finest in Milwaukee. You will always find something to your liking here. A reliable blend of traditional favorites and rotating specials that never fail to please. There's quite often a wait at busier times (always worth the wait) but you can find days and times where you can walk straight in. I've been here a few times now and the service is always top notch too. Blue's Egg is already an institution and doesn't need my review, but if you're looking for a good feast in the morning, look no further.

The food was absolutely delicious & the service was great. I ordered the 2 local eggs with bacon and sourdough toast. It was a great portion size and came with some crispy hashbrowns which were delicious! They also gave us Monkey bread for the table, which was a nice treat. I highly recommend the coffee bar too. They use Valentine coffee and espresso if you’re familiar with their coffee shops in Milwaukee. I got an iced caramel latte with almond milk and it was so good!

Wonderful breakfast here! The reputation as a unique and extremely well run restaurant is well earned. I have tried to dine here in the past, but the lines drove me away. There is a reservation system that I would strongly recommend if eating on a weekend or holiday. Andouille with Spinach and bechamel sauce. Yummy.

I love this place! The food is great and locally sourced. Always something new daily and made from scratch! Service is good. Best to make a reservation since this establishment is very popular! A definite must for foodies!

I was referred this place by one of my friends! Have to say the service was amazing! Extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was great! I got the biscuits and gravy & side of hashbrown! One of the best biscuits and gravy I have had in a long time! The ambiance was great it really was a great experience that’s for sure. I would say anyone who wants a good meal and even better service check this place out!

This is a MUST EAT AT location in Milwaukee. Our server, Katie, was friendly and very knowledgeable. The monkey bread was fresh and had incredible texture and flavor. If we would have known how amazing the food was before our last day in the city, we would have gone for brunch again prior to leaving.

Came here for brunch with family. I ordered the Enchiladas omelet with a gluten-free pancake. It was the best GF pancake I've ever had. I want the recipe!!! Hopefully I'll be back!!!

Wow....seriously...just wow...amazing food. Great old school diner vibe...very friendly staff... I ordered some kinda scrambled eggs with shrimp and calamari and scallops in it....it was absolutely GLORIOUS. THIS SPOT IS VERY BUSY...you may have to wait a few minutes to grab a seat but lord have mercy, it is worth it...

The breakfast here is amazing! The banana monkey bread is to die for. Highly recommended. Before you leave, purchase a few cookies to go . Yum

I saw the reviews about the monkey bread and pulled ham and got curious. I tried them, and I need to say it is a must-have! Try the monkey bread with the bourbon sauce, it is a sugar rush but it is worth it. Service is super fast, large portions and delicious brunch.

One of the brunch places that I constantly come back to when friends visit! I come for their monkey bread and stuffed hash! Ive tried many many items on the menu even though the two photos are essentially the same thing. Cant recommend enough!!

Delicious brunch spot. Second time visiting, and well worth it. Was advised that seating for 1 would be 45-60 minutes, unless I was ok with the counter. Agreed to counter. Ordered a Bloody Mary for the wait, which was one of the best bloodies I've had in a long time. No ornate garnishes - which was fine with me, I was in for a large meal. I noted that the gentleman at the counter was paying his bill so figured I'd be seated soon ... Watched him leave.... No call. Watched several parties leave, and then watched as a couple who had just arrived were called in because they're there so often. So I went in - counter had no guests seated. Politely asked if I could sit there, yes my name was registered. This is the ONLY complaint I have. The bartender was prompt, friendly, very willing to answer questions about the menu. They were out of my first choice, but he recommended the Dubliner Benedict - which was marvelous! So many things sound good I probably won't get it again in favor of trying other things but highly recommend trying the Dubliner! Overall this is a great place, be prepared for a wait, but the food is worth it.

I was here with my 5 and 11 years old son. We ordered grilled cheese sandwich and benefit eggs. My kids loved the grilled cheese and I personally like the bendict eggs. Would definitely reminded this place for breakfast and I will return.
