Beautiful decor- seriously so awesome to look at. The pizza was amazing! The carbonara was boring. I liked the sparkling water with our meal, and they serve warm bread with seasoned olive oil, which was really nice to have as well! Would recommend this place for a nice date night or formal family dinner! Love it- just step up the flavor game on some of the dishes! Editing to add that we have visited this place several times since our initial visit. The food is really great- we got beef tartare and I never thought in a million years I would like something like that, but they definitely changed my mind. Loved it!

Really nice and cozy place. Loved the atmosphere and the food! The hostess was welcoming and polite. The service got a little slower once the place became busier, but overall, it was on point. We liked everything we tried - pasta, beet salad, mushroom risotto & calamari! We’ll be back for sure!

I believe I was in Italy🇮🇹 the last time I had this authentic Italian dining experience. As an Italian myself, DISOTTO hit home for me. Parking outside is tight so I recommend taking advantage of the valet service out front! Also, make a reservation ahead of time so that you may be expected! Our server **Gretchen** was phenomenal as well as manager **Nick**! They worked in random to recommend the best bottle of wine with our meal! Well, we went through two bottles haha! It was our first time here and it was a flawless experience! Hot things served hot and cold things served cold! This is a MUST dine-in experience! Highly recommend! We’ll be back!

First time visiting Highwood, IL - we came in for an early dinner on Saturday night. We shared the burrata and pulpo to start. For our mains, I took a break from pastas and went with a grilled pizza; the prosciutto and arugula. Ted chose the orecchiette and Stacey selected the cavatelli. Both pastas were cooked perfectly al dente. The orecchiette in particular was packed with flavour with the lemon, garlic, and fennel sausage.

This was not our first dining experience at Disotto. As a whole, it is generally good food and service. Unfortunately this time, both were meh. The server was totally in the weeds and didn't really have any backup until the owner stepped in. I understand bad nights happen, and this wasnt a bad experience, just not memorable.

by far one of my favorite restaurants always always accommodate any of your needs. They are amazing. our server Belle and Jose are the best . Jose is probably the best bartender in the Midwest. Thank you.

Food ( Bruschetta and pasta with clams) was excellent. The table and atmosphere was fair, it was in the transition area between the indoors and the fully outdoor ones in the street.

We had a wonderful dinner - Their gnocchi and salmon were delicious! Excellent and very attentive staff made sure we had everything we needed all night. The cozy atmosphere makes it a perfect spot to host a fun gathering! We'll be back.

Excellent, friendly service, well-thought-out food menu items, reasonable prices. Great wine list. Excellent cocktails were a bit pricey, but excellent. Our family group of 10 was seated at our reservation time (on Black Friday), and had a wonderful dining experience.

Very good food, great Italian recipes. Not Olive garden! Good wines and atmosphere. Not cheap but you get what you pay for.
