Came here with my sister. Waitress was kind of rude. We were not greeted when we came in so we figured we could just sit anywhere. Since there was many seats available. We sat and waitress said do we have reservations? We said no she said it's fine we can sit here? During our order we felt rushed. Did not recommend any options. The restaurant vibe was great. We tried different options. The southern meal was a nice presentation but the meal did not have much flavor. It was bland. Sister had pancakes, sausage and potatoes. Her favorite part was the sausage it was was really good. Smoothie was refreshing.

Really great spot for vegan people. I decided to give a try since I was near by and I am so trying to eat a little more clean and kale my name definitely didn’t disappointed. Everything taste very good. I am not personally a vegan person but I actually enjoyed the food. Only I wish they had it was instead of regular fries to change to sweet potatoes fries but it wasn’t a big deal. The only down side for it was the price, specially in the area they are located. One buffalo wrap, one veggie burger and sprite $50 dollars it seems to me a little high. I know probably inflation and higher cost it could be part of this preces buy something they might need to consider. Despite the price, If you looking for a healthy options, definitely a hidden gem in Albany park.

Overall, a good dining experience. A good variety of dishes from apps on through. Overall, the portions are large and the flavors are pretty good. Just know that the dishes are expensive and can feel like you’re paying a lot of money per plate. Also be prepared that there are no non-vegan options, which isn’t a bad thing… just something to be prepared for.

The place and ambiance was pretty. But why 2 priority is on customers who make reservations but the restaurant wasn’t packed when we arrived they have a lot of vacancies but the server decided to put is on table in dark corner and had little space to settle and move. We saw menu and it was a lot of choices and price was a little more expensive. Food came serving was ok. I find this restaurant as a glorified vegan place. Nothing more than typical menu the jack fruit wrap was disappointing it was soggy, bland and watery. For meal we ate the money we paid wasn’t worth it.Oh smoothie was off too it had that bitter unriped taste of a fruit.. Horrible

We visited on a Friday when they have two menus available. We tried the nachos. They are huge and enough for four people. We also tried the empanadas and the oyster mushroom sandwich with fries. Both were delicious.

I have heard so many good things about this place, unfortunately the ball was dropped when I placed a to go order a few weeks ago. There was a hair in one of the orders, and no sauces were provided for the tacos or wings. I placed the order through Uber eats and specifically called the restaurant directly and spoke to someone to request sauces. I wish I could have had a better experience. I am posting the review now because the staff did not even reach out to me after making them aware of the hair in my food, through Uber eats. The food I was able to eat, was not as great as I expected, and Very pricey.

I greatly appreciate the extensive menu. The Buffalo cauliflower wings are pretty good. My party of 4 tried the trio of tacos; we didn’t like the jackfruit and fruit tacos, we didn’t finish them off. The avocado taco was a hit! I recommend getting the fried avocado tacos instead of the other two.

This spot is one of my local favorites! The Italian seitan wrap was pretty good. The buffalo Cauliflower wings were way too salty. I didn’t get to try the desert but that is next on my list. Kevin was a great server. Service was quick

Kale my name was so so so good! I am on a pretty strict gluten free diet so I constantly look for gluten-free restaurants in Chicago. I am going to go out on a lemon say this is the best gluten-free restaurant in the whole city. I am a fat boy at heart and these options brought me back to my childhood when I could eat anything I wanted. The mac & cheese buying Were everything they were advertised hours and more. The nachos stole the show. I am going to go back for a burger sometime soon. This is a one off rare option that will continue to grow in interest. I am taking my family back sometime soon but honestly this is the best gluten-free restaurant in the whole city. The staff was awesome and helpful. Highly highly recommend this to anyone who’s looking for gluten-free food in Chicago.

Cute vegan spot. We ordered the chicken and waffles, taco salad, Mac and cheese balls and breakfast potatoes. The Bellinis were strong and the music was a vibe. We came for brunch but there were other people there for a tea party and it looked fun. There is outside seating but unfortunately no shade. I’m not vegan but I enjoyed it and would recommend.

I'm not a vegan but I loved the food. I went their to celebrate my niece's birthday. I ordered the southern plate and it was delicious. I loved the cauliflower wings, and The Mac & cheese ball. I also got a chance to taste the nacho plate and it tasted like regular nachos. The waiters were friendly, patient & professional. The atmosphere was relaxing, refreshing and homey.

The cauliflower wings were the best I’ve had! So good. The fries are also super yummy. The burger was good, but messy

Stopped in for lunch and had a nice meal. Ordered hot tea and the Italian setan wrap, with the Greek fries. The garlic aioli is delicious, and accompanied the fries so well. The seitan wrap was well prepared and satisfying. Edit: Stopped back in and had the nachos. They were so good, I couldn't stop eating.

My family and I had two meals here during our short stay in Chicago. Dinner with friends - about 9 of us, and lunch with just 4 family members. Enjoyed both meals where we tried an assortment of what they had to offer. With two family members being vegan, it was great to find a place with so many options. Portion sizes were huge and could easily be shared. Food was yummy - the lentil soup hit the spot on a rainy day. The tacos and tequenos were great. Service was quick and courteous. Parking was easily available on the road.

If you following Tabitha Brown she didn't lie. "Kale" is very delicious just make sure you come hungry 😋 and order your table ahead of time. I made rookie mistake didn't read you need to make a reservation first. However, the staff was very nice and about it and I was still service so a win win for both of US.

Will start with the good part: Tequeños were really tasty! We are grateful about it 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 No doubts the best we’ve tried…Now the other part: Maybe we had high expectations considering all the amazing reviews, but me and my boyfriend were very disappointed 🤷🏻‍♀️ we ordered the tofu buffalo wrap and it was ok, but in general the place was just so so…not a great atmosphere, lack of good music or ambiance. We went all the way there from downtown because we really wanted to try this awarded restaurant while visiting Chicago and we really felt it was all just good marketing. Sorry guys maybe the hype was good and now it is a bit unattended 🤷🏻‍♀️ Maybe we’ll try in LA next week

I had been hoping for so long to be able to go to Tabitha Brown's restaurant, and my cousin and I finally got a chance when I was visiting family in Chicago! I was not disappointed! This was a dream come true and the food was so amazing! Can't wait to go back again!

Kale My Name is my new favorite place!!!! I kept seeing so many good things on the menu then the Southern Super saved the day and had all the fixings I wanted! Garlic Kale was the perfect texture. Fried cauliflower wasn’t heavily breaded. Mac & Cheese ball was probably the best out of the entire box. I wish there was more than one but next time I’m getting a full order. The fries were a bit over cooked and soggy by the time they got to me but I did delivery so I guess that’s what happens. I tried about 5-6 different sauces because I’m a sauce girl and I’m officially addicted. The awesome sauce and garlic aioli were spot on. And did I mention they have so many gluten free & soy options!!!! Which is sometimes hard to find at these vegan spots. It’s a win for everyone!!! I’m telling all my friends to travel to Chicago for this because it’s worth it!

We flew in from Dallas to check it out. It's a Cute sit in spot. Food was good! (Aunt TAB was not cooking yawl, mind yawl business) Lemonades were amazing. LOVE THE TEA PARTY IDEA. Chicago this would definitely be the spot to host a "rich girls" Brunch. Will definitely be back. Couldn't try brunch menu we were there on a Tuesday.

I have been here a couple of times and have found the food to be a real hit or miss which for the price is a bit tough for me to give more than three stars. The fried oyster mushroom sandwich was not good. It was very dry and salty which was disappointing because they have so much potential but I think the issue is the mushrooms are so small that are on the sandwich. The cauliflower wings and waffles were overall not too bad but I wish the winging were tossed in sauce or dry rub to get the flavoring rather than the Buffalo sauce on the side. The Buffalo can overwhelm the syrup if just dumped on top so a better infusion of flavor on the wings would be ideal. My favorite thing was the brunch burger and that is something I’d go back for.

Food was really good. The cauliflower was perfect! I didn’t order coffee because they only have Julius Meinl which I’m not a fan of. Prices were decent except the tea($5 for Bigelow)and unflavored latte($6). Would come here again, interested in the desserts and tacos.

I highly recommend Kale My Name as a must-visit restaurant for anyone looking for delicious and healthy vegan food options. I stopped in without a reservation on a busy Saturday afternoon and had no problem getting my party of 2 seated. As soon as we arrived they offered a free sample dish of chickn fingers and a delicious chickn sandwich. 🤩 Located in the heart of the West Loop neighborhood of Chicago, which is known for its trendy restaurants and bars, Kale My Name is the spot to go! The restaurant is situated on West Madison Street, just a few blocks away from the United Center. The location is easily accessible by public transportation and there is ample street parking available nearby. Kale My Name offers a wide range of vegan dishes that are not only tasty but also nutritious. The restaurant's menu features a variety of salads, wraps, smoothie bowls, and juices, all made with fresh and organic ingredients. One of my favorite dishes were the Tequeños which are a popular Venezuelan dish that consists of cheese sticks wrapped in a crispy dough. The Tequeños are made with vegan cheese and served with a side of fresh garlic aioli. I cannot raved enough about the crispy texture of the dough and the delicious warm gooey vegan cheese filling. The aioli adds a nice touch to the dish, making it a perfect appetizer or snack. Overall, Kale My Name is a fantastic restaurant that offers delicious and healthy vegan food options. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. If you're looking for a great vegan restaurant in Chicago, be sure to check out Kale My Name!

What a wonderful experience. I've been here multiple times but I got the opportunity to try a new food item before it was available. The chicken sandwich and chicken tenders were amazing. The customer service is always great when I go. I will definitely return for the chicken sandwich 😋 . My favorite item has always been the avocado 🥑.

My friend was so hyped about going to check out Kale My Name because she's a huge Tabitha fan. I loved the diversity of options on the menu. It's fun! And the waitress was great. But the food was literally a hit or miss. A miss usually because it was bland. But the things that were really good I loved - the empanadas, fries and chips. The others items were just okay. Nothing was inedible.

I LOVE KALE MY NAME! The food coupled with the amazing owner, Nemanja, and wonderful staff, make it an extraordinary experience every time! My absolute favorite is the cauliflower and waffles, which I ordered for three straight visits (brunch is now ALL DAY)!!! I also really enjoy the Mac n cheese balls, oyster mushroom wrap, lentil soup, chilaquiles, and avocado tacos. When I’m feeling boozy, my favorite is the lavender mojito. There is so much more left to try here, and I think vegans and non-vegans alike would find something to enjoy. I know because, I brought my family in for my birthday :)

Service was great, very friendly! Food was just okay overall! The Caesar salad was delicious and the cheese sticks were tasty, but the Mac and cheese balls were disappointing. The burger and fries were good too but can’t really mess those up lol!

I like their elote more than others I’ve tried in Chicago. Kale My Name makes really great vegan food :) their Greek Fries are one of my favorite sides cuz the vegan feta is amazing. And the tindle “chickn” is so tasty. I added it to the Caesar wrap, so good.
