I have come many times to this shop now and they have managed to break something every so often, from the oil dip stick of one of my cars to the tire air stem as well as the undercarriage cover of my new car. They are sloppy and do things quick and in a hurry and do not take the appropriate time to put things back correctly, so they don't fall apart later on. Not sure if this is a company policy, to do things quick and in a hurry forgoing quality, or if their employees are careless or not well trained. They did fix the first two items, but have not fixed the undercarriage cover yet. Their techs did not put all the screws back, which would hold it in place and the cover fell off on the highway getting damaged. They promised they would fix it, but still waiting. I would not recommend this place. UPDATE 6/29/2021 I was contacted by Jiffy Lube's corporate office and was assured that a district manager would contact me to get the issue resolved and several weeks have past since then and have not received a call from anyone and the damage to my car still remains unrepaired. UPDATE 10/26/2021: They never fixed what they broke and their corporate office lied about one of their district managers calling me to resolve the issue. I never got a call from them. I will never go back there permanently. My recommendation is if they did this to me they can do this to you, therefore I do not recommend that you go to any Jiffy Lube.

Did not drain oil from oil pan, was suctioned partially out. Not sure he used the full synthetic, but charged me. Never flushed the coolant but charged me. Refunded the coolant. Be careful...fraud going on there.

Very rude attitude. I drive in on March 28, 2023 on 1 E Roosevelt Rd,. Lombard, IL. The black dude asked me what did I want to do. I told him that I wanted to do oil change, of course oil change, every body knows what Jiffy lube does. And then he asked me what else, I asked back what else do you have? I was thinking some tire rotation, but I was not sure that they could do it. He answered me, are you Ok? Of course, I am Ok,. I answered him. And then he told me, Leave! What? What's wrong with this person? I was so angry. I left and would never come back. Good luck Jiffylube. I was with it for 25 years.

Went to this place before 3 months ago and the older shorter gentlemen helped me with his great knowledge. Just went in for an oil change on my hour lunch and had terrible customer service. Management doesn’t follow first come first serve policies. There was an suv behind me that was taken care of first where I was waiting for 10 min prior to that. Never coming back due to poor management from a kid who thinks he’s “the manager.” What a joke.

Lawrence was just awful!! He needs training in customer service. He's driving your business into the ground!! I pulled in for a top off and the kid gave me a serious attitude for not pulling my own car into the garage. I have a healthy fear of doing this as I feel like I'm not going to do it right. So he then proceeds to do my top off in the Park lot which I found odd!! Then I ask him to fill my tires and he gets a major attitude stating that I didn't ask for that but it's part of the top off. Wow!! So, as I pull my car out vowing to NEVER come back to this location I felt like he didn't fill my tires correctly so I went across to discount tire and the gentleman told me that my driver side tires were at 38&27. Bottom line is this guy needs to be demoted or just fired! His attitude is as bad as his service.

This location had terrible customer service. I went here to get an oil change. I went to this location and they rejected myself and three other cars that wanted an oil change. The employee said he and his co-worker were on lunch and sent us all away and said even though it would only take 15 minutes to complete, he said he was not going to service us and to come back later. So I went to see Elijah at the Jiffy Lube on 17 West 820 Butterfield road and he was so great. Very attentive and empathetic. Definitely recommend Elijah over the location in Lombard off Roosevelt road. Thanks Elijah!!!

I visited jiffy lube located at 1 E Roosevelt Road Lombard, IL 60148 on 10/16/23 for a routine oil change. Ten minutes after leaving, I received a call to return to JL bc they forgot to do something. Minutes after I hung up, my check engine light turned on and my car warned me to immediately pull over and turn my engine off. I did as the car said and called JL back. They insisted I drive back there because they couldn't help me otherwise. I told them that I did not feel safe doing so and I would listen to the car. He agreed and met me where I pulled over. When he got there, he informed me all the oil was gone from my car. He replaced my car with oil and instructed I drive it back to JL for refund and clean up. He cleaned the car up and provided a refund for the service. A week later, my car started making a noise. Instantly, I brought it to the VW dealership at 9pm on a Tues. This was an inconvenience as I had to car pool with my coworker to work the next morning. VW said I had to replace the engine and turbo due to metal in the oil. This is consistent with the car being ran without oil. The costs of the damages are $11,482.70. This was a direct result of JL making a mistake with my oil change, causing my car to run w/o oil from it all leaking out. My father in law went to JL twice to resolve the issue by telling them to pay for the damages they caused to my car. We have been speaking with the manager, Allen. They have not helpful and said the issue was out of their hands and that it was for corporate. VW reached out to JL multiple times. A JL manager went to VW to look at my car, but would not provide any contact info. They said corporate would follow up with us a few days later. That was over a 1.5 weeks ago now. We have been calling and JL will not provide a contact to myself or VW. We have not heard anything on the status and we have not been provided with any contact to follow up. I have not had my car for 3 weeks now. This has been going on for too long and jiffy lube needs to pay for the damages they caused to my car.

They drained my transmission fluid and didn’t mention anything causing my transmission to fail and need to be replaced. They have not covered the cost for the damage.

Great service. Needed a special oil filter, they went to Auto Zone to get it no problem.

Lawrence and the team are wonderful. His customer service skills are impeccable. I prefer going to that particular location instead of the dealership for my oil changes. Thanks for providing excellent service…

I can no longer recommend this Jiffy Lube and will not be back. 1st they got rid of the Early Bird special. 2nd they stripped the oil pan bolt. They tried to deny it after attempting to vacuum out oil with no explanation. When questioned why, they said my bolt was stripped. I provided a receipt and they blamed previous employees. They fixed it but would not have had I not been paying attention. 3rd after 1000 miles, in preparation for a almost 3000 mile trip I checked the oil. Down 2 quarts. I don't burn or leak any oil. During that trip I checked the oil every fill-up. Needed to add <1/2 quart. I was towing a 33' travel trail with a 2004 E350 averaging 6.7mpg. Last straw was when I changed the oil myself. They used the wrong oil filter. When I cross referenced the filter it wasn't even close. Pic included

Very dishonest manager over price and ended up paying more on an oil change an se antifreeze replacement about $300 dollar than I have ever paid at another location 🙄 very bad. Thou area is great.

They should hire nicer people and be more polite to their customers. I have been there 3 times and I have already had 2 bad experiences with the treatment of their employees, they are rude and do not seem to want to provide good service. They should be more respectful, because they are not providing a free service, they act as if they are doing the customers a favor. Today an employee spoke to me in a very rude way because I entered my car, but I was waiting and despite seeing him sitting doing NOTHING, he got angry because I entered without his permission, when I was waiting for him he completely ignored me, but he did act very aggressive when I entered saying they were too busy when there was only one car, I preferred to leave. I choose this place because it is the closest to my house, but I prefer to go further and receive good attention than allow a man to be so rude to me.

Alex and his team were super efficient. They helped me figure out what oil options were compatible with my car. Jiffy Lube is not the most inexpensive option, but they do their job and they do it quickly. I appreciate that!

It's a very good place for an oil change. But I was shocked at the prices. My nephew had a choice in prices, +$80 for the premium and most inexpensive +$50. I think I'll change my own oil.

Allen helped me out with great customer service and put my windshield wipers on for free. Great experience.

Very nice workers but I took my wife's car in and they said they were out of conventional oil, and then I took my car in a couple weeks later and they said they don't carry conventional oil at all. So you go in thinking you'll spend $49.99 on oil but you're only allowed the option for the $76.99 Blend oil. Final cost after oil, filter, wiper fluid, taxes is $85.26

I am. Not sure they actually change it ,I request to check all fluids and they didn't, request to tight the screwes of my license plates ,they didn't, never again jiffy lube ,I had a bad experience once before I should learn my lesson .

They were so helpful! I know essentially nothing about my car (a problem, I know) but Darien and Brenden made the whole process easy and didn’t once make me feel stupid. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Allen and his team took care of me at an amazing price point. They also took care of me personally, as I was having a rough day. Allen is an absolutely fantastic person, and I highly recommend taking your business to him.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS GARBAGE PLACE! The first time we went here, they didn't tighten the drain plug on my Hyundai and oil leaked ALL over our driveway and continued to leak. We went back the same day and they gave us attitude saying they weren't responsible for this (not sure how, since their literal job is to change the oil) but they tightened it and we were on our way. I then went back this week (I'm a strong proponent of second chances). Again, oil leaked ALL OVER our driveway, even more than the first time and we lost a majority of the oil. When my husband went in the next day to have them fix it, they were EXTREMELY rude to him, stating he was giving them attitude. My husband is one of the most even-tempered humans I know, so I already knew this was going to be an issue. They "tightened" the plug again and then told him we weren't welcome back, BUT IT CONTINUED TO LEAK!!!! So we went to another auto center down the block that is family-owned and SO MUCH BETTER and I cannot recommend staying the hell away from this location enough. The other auto center was able to make the simple fix within seconds and even gave us industrial-grade cleaner at no extra cost for the damage to our driveway.

Terrible, NOBODY knew what they were doing including the cost of certain services, what the service would do for my vehicle, or how long the process would take. I first went in and waited in the lobby for 5 minutes while a young lady in the office continued to stare back and forth at me and whatever show she was watching. No greeting. Then I walked out, got in my vehicle, and drove around and waited behind 2 cars. The manager Mark came up to me and then said I didn’t have to wait in line for the service I wanted and told me to pull around front. He had a service worker come in and tell me the price for the wrong service. I spoke with both of them and neither knew the service description on the website or how it would help my vehicle. The manager didn’t even know the code to type into the computer to pull up the service and the price. Avoid them at all costs. The Jiffy Lube in Carol Stream did a much better job, well worth the drive!

Awful!!! the oil has been leaking ever since i changed it there. Yesterday I decided to go back to have it checked. The 4 clowns who work there wanted to go to lunch at the same time and not fixed the problem. Long story short. They didn't tighten the oil filter enough. NEVER GOING BACK.

Fairly ironic that the manager should ask me to write a review while I was waiting today. I have really tried to give this place a fair shake as they are right across the streeth from my work. If they are there, and are not busy, they will generally change your oil pretty quickly. I think they are slightly more expensive than going to a shop, but (usually) are quicker. The last three times I’ve gone there, the follow has happened: 1) I went there just past 8:00 a.m. when they supposedly open, and no one was there. If i get there when they open, I probably could get my oil changed before starting work at 9:00. 2) I went there a week later around lunch time, and the worker sent me away because he had just sent someone on break? Meanwhile, there was NO ONE in any of the stalls? Probably sent away 3 cars just when I drove up (one before me, one after me). 3) Just went there, got right in, seemingly pretty quick. I start to drive off, and my car is beeping at me like my door is open. Nope, car says “Low oil pressure, stop engine.” Pretty sure they just neglected to put any oil in the car. Drained and changed the filter...never put in any oil in. I stop in the parking lot and signal for someone. He has me pull around, and I have to wait in line again another 20 minutes....lol. Luckily I was not on a time crunch. I’ll give the manager credit, he did refund my purchase. But (3) strikes and you’re out for me. Not only did they not put in oil in the car, on either time in did they fill up my tires—which I thought was one of their “things” they always do (saw one of their guys with a compressed air gauge). So I drive off and get notified a couple of my tires have low air, and I have to stop at a gas station to fill them up. If you want a quick oil change, and their open, they’ll probably do OK most of the time. Convenience is about the best thing they have going for them, again if they’re actually open. Otherwise, go elsewhere.

The guys that work in the Lombard Jiffy Lube are very professional, try to do a great job to make the customer happy, friendly and perform services in a timely manner. I give them 5 Stars

I pulled up at 2:00pm on a Saturday. No other cars were being serviced. No one came to the door for a while. Then one man inside walked past me twice without making eye contact. Another car pulled up after me, grew impatient, and ultimately left. Several minutes later, I left too.

TERRIBLE experience. Was told that the total for my oil was 73 bucks, then was charged 91.99 because they supposedly put in the wrong oil. Which I do not think that they did. They took off 10 dollars which would be 81.99 which is over what they said it would cost still not sure how that makes it right? They also said that coolant was 4.99 and charged me 5.99. They didn't saying anything about it and claimed it was "taxes" that made the almost 20 dollars difference. They also did not check tire pressure, which is says they did and didn't make me sign the receipt which it looks like I was supposed to but there is a line there for my signature. If you want to be nickeled and dimed and probably not even get the correct oil, go here.
