Went to the ribfest for the first time with friends and family. Had a great time. Food of choice was Howling Coyote Roadhouse bbq😋

Fun 4th of July hangout at Ribfest Naperville. A good selection of BBQ to choose from. Since all of them are award winners, I guess u cant really go wrong with any ribbers. We chose Howling Coyote, tasting their ribs and brisket sandwich. Both were gooey succulent meats. Their apple based BBQ sauce was delicious. Besides the ribs, our kids enjoyed the children area with bouncy castles and the best is a petting zoo, with lots if goats, cows, donkeys, chicken and sheep. There's also a decent sized carnival area with various rides.

I went on Monday. The 4:30 band was good but there was no one there. Ribs I bought were very dry. Beans, slaw, and cornbread were good. It's a good cause to help abused kids.

Great times at rib fest!! Highly recommend the VIP package, includes dinner and drinks. They always have great music acts. The food is fantastic and there is something for everyone ! Great vendors and lots of fun activities for everyone. Best part this event it's for a great cause.

I am very disappointed in the way they have handled the cancelation of Toby Keith. I understand it is not their fault and I understand it is a not for profit. However I spent over $1300.00 dollars for VIP seating. This is a good cause I just don't feel like I am being treated fairly. I will not attend any events for this not for profit in the future.

Will not support this event in the future, after multiple failed communications they never got the information out on proper refund policy. Stated individual refunds would be processed after event and now event had ended and they retract that statement and tell us just to donate the funds. If you had stated your refund policy from the beginning us ticket holders could have planned accordingly. Posting late saturday that tickets could be transferred to any date is not acceptable without any email sent to ticket holders. Do the right thing and process the refunds we were promised by your staff...

Awful communication in regards to refunds and event tickets. Stated refunds would be handled individually after event. Event ends and now they reverse their statement after previous posted statement regarding refunds. Never once sent an email to ticket holders to relay current and up to date information. Had to find all info on facebook days after it was released. Will never return or support this event in the future after such poor organization and customer service.

Ribfest really went downhill this year. Only 5 or so places selling ribs. Used to be a lot more. Because of so few vendors and a very big crowd, it was minimum of 30 minutes wait to get something to eat. Sorry, no festival food is worth that kind of wait. One redeeming thing was that with the new location, parking has much improved.

Hoping they don't F us all over on these tickets that were supposed to be for Toby Keith. I never used them for another day and opted out of the "donation". I was told that it would be used as future credit. Hope u keep ur word! Waiting on the line up better be as equal as Toby Keith!

The event just doesn't live up to the Ribfest brand. The new location, although convenient for parking, doesn't bring the same energy as downtown Naperville. Additionally, no petting zoo, no rides, and few booths lead to a lackluster experience. The kids play area has a few hay balls and some bags sets. Also, the inflatable area (three inflatables) becomes downright dangerous with the wrong group of kids as there is no staff monitoring and many parents would leave their young kids to their own devices, making it awkward for parents who were concerned for their kids being around rough behavior. Although I will continue supporting the noble cause, the experience itself is very underwhelming and disappointing.

They handled the cancelation of the Toby Keith concert horribly! We had 4 VIP tickets. The website, an email response, the Daily Herald & NBC5 all said REFUND instructions would be coming but they never did. We didn't use the tickets on another day & don't want to donate the cost of the tickets or receive a credit for 2023. Issue REFUNDS like you said you would!

Really great! Lot's of space, free admission (unless you were seeing the acts) was awesome, and the rib options were fantastic. Was surprised how well things seemed to go since this was a new location.

In my humble opinion, the fest is overpriced, not to mention that most of the vendors sell the same offerings. Yeah, yeah, I know BBQ sauce is different, the way it's cooked different, blah blah blah. 👎🏻

Wasnt sure how this was going to be but it turned out great lots of space to move around food was great but go up and look at all the menus closely they offer so many varieties at each vendor. The food was out standing.

The Rub fest has shrunk tremendously! I was shocked to see only 7 rib vendors. Then the timing in September was not the best idea as the weather is unpredictable. Not sure if I will attend again 🙄
