City Mattress must have become accustomed to receiving good reviews that now they are becoming complacent with continuing to provide good old fashion customer service/ satisfaction. So, my mother's story begins on a Sunday afternoon (5/15/2022) where she is greeted and sold a beautiful firm Harmony Beautyrest mattress after sitting and lying on various products in the store. Great, next comes the delivery day 5/21/2022; setup goes well and the delivery guys go on about their daily business. My mom is happy her new mattress has arrived and she can't wait to get a goodnight's rest, since she's been sleeping on her old mattress for over 20 years. It's evening time and time to go to sleep, my mom notices when she lays down on her new mattress that her body immediately sinks into the mattress like she's in quick sand, hmm but she purchased and tested a firm mattress at the store but this new mattress doesn't appear to have the same quality. Angry at the sunk hole in her mattress and not getting a good night's rest she calls the store immediately the next day to speak with Carol about the issue. Carol has a very dismissive attitude and tone advising my mother that she has to wait 30 days per their company policy for an exchange. I'm curious to know why Carole did not recommend that a defect claim be submitted versus just telling my mom to wait it out 30 days to see if things change. What's suppose to change about a sunken hole in a mattress in 30 days besides it becoming worse and my mother's back giving her trouble. Needless to say 2 days (5/23/2022) ago a call was made to Carol again without success because she continues to reiterate her company's exchange policy (which is not a good policy for a consumer but that's for another review.) and my mom requested to speak with someone else and Carole stated she would have the Regional Manager contact her the next day (5/24/2022)....still waiting!! Unfortunately, City Mattress you can be assured I will not support any future purchases or recommendations to friends/family to your company It appears to me you're more concerned with the advantageous policy that favors City Mattress ONLY and not the satisfaction of your customer in the end. My mother and I are still expecting a call to resolve this matter ASAP!

I walked in Friday on a whim having been wanting a new mattress for months. Carol was an amazing salesperson. She simplified an overwhelming process and was able to get great discounts on the bed, box spring and frame. 100% recommend this location for their professionalism and approachability.

Just popped in to check out the tempurPedic mattress with my son. Alecia Page was wonderful. She showed us to the specific mattress my son was looking for, explained a couple of things, then left us to it. Their selection is great and Alecia's knowledge of the mattress, bed frames and other furniture is extensive. We especially appreciated that she left us free to wander around, get a feel for the mattresses and discuss our options. This will be our second purchase from City Mattress, I'm glad we came back.

The delivery and service people are nice and friendly. And the Sales people are nice, too. The one star review is because of my experience with a certain sofa product. The service manager came out and look at the couch and another new one was delivered after that. Both couches broke within a day and a half. And all I did was just sitting on it. I was told it's a new line that they're carrying. And maybe I'm the first one that has bought this one particular model. In my opinion. The Delaware Flexsteel sofa can't hold people's weight and it will break within days if you do have one and use it to sit in. I don't blame anyone at City mattress for this. This is simply the couch and its poor construction and the materials used to build it that I am commenting about. I have not spoken to the service manager about the second couch yet. Most likely it will get worked out with him somehow. But don't buy a Flexsteel Delaware sofa. It's not a finely made product. I don't need to see a third strike to see it is not a home run.

I contacted City Mattress using their website to buy a Purple Hybrid and several accessories on September 27th, and followed up with them multiple times, but they were not interested in taking my order. After being ignored for weeks, I placed my order at Mattress Firm easily.

I started my shopping online. I was able to chat with a rep. to answer a few questions before I made it into the store and got a promo code for doing so. When my boyfriend and I made it into the store we were greated by a friendly sales woman. She was able to take what specifics we were looking for and work with our prices. She was kind enough not to hover while we tested the mattress for comfort. Happy to say they honored my promo code and was setup with a convenient delivery and set in 48 hour's. Best part is the 60 day comfort guarantee. Thank for all your help Carol. We are looking forward to our delivery.

Very attentive to customer wants and needs and knowledgeable on the subject matter. I can't remember her name, but the blond saleswoman that attended to us was just amazing. We were also left to our own devices once we had the information we needed to make our decision.

I’ve been looking for a new mattress for a few months now. Went to several mattress stores in western NY trying out different makes. Several weeks ago I walked into City Mattress and was greeted by Ben, one of the salespersons. He was soft spoken and very helpful, not a pushy sales person like all the other stores I visited. I didn’t buy a mattress that day as I wasn’t sure which mattress to buy. After trying out a Beauty Rest nothing else compares. I took Ben’s card and continued my search for the perfect mattress with no avail. I woke up this morning and said I need a mattress, so I went back to City Mattress hoping Ben would be there ..and sure enough I walked in and he stood up..put on a mask and walked over. He remembered me from the last time I was in the store because of the 4 or 5 times I kept going back to try out this expensive Beauty Rest mattress lol! He was so patient with me . Well, today I purchased a Beauty Rest mattress and one of the reasons why I did is because of Ben. I trusted his knowledge as a salesman. He even looked to see if there was a coupon and I got $60 off. Thank you Ben Kelly through this difficult decision on purchasing a mattress. You’ve been a blessing and I know I’m going to love my new Beauty Rest. So my advice to people searching for the right mattress.. .. go visit Ben at City Mattress .

Wow - did we luck out when we happened to wander into the Sheridan Drive store and meet Joe Cuddihee! After previously shopping in 8 or 9 other name brand furniture stores we ended up buying most of our furniture for our new build from Joe at City Mattress. Just the cheapest shtuff you can buy. Bed was falling apart 3 months after purchase.
