City
Mattress
must
have
become
accustomed
to
receiving
good
reviews
that
now
they
are
becoming
complacent
with
continuing
to
provide
good
old
fashion
customer
service/
satisfaction.
So,
my
mother's
story
begins
on
a
Sunday
afternoon
(5/15/2022)
where
she
is
greeted
and
sold
a
beautiful
firm
Harmony
Beautyrest
mattress
after
sitting
and
lying
on
various
products
in
the
store.
Great,
next
comes
the
delivery
day
5/21/2022;
setup
goes
well
and
the
delivery
guys
go
on
about
their
daily
business.
My
mom
is
happy
her
new
mattress
has
arrived
and
she
can't
wait
to
get
a
goodnight's
rest,
since
she's
been
sleeping
on
her
old
mattress
for
over
20
years.
It's
evening
time
and
time
to
go
to
sleep,
my
mom
notices
when
she
lays
down
on
her
new
mattress
that
her
body
immediately
sinks
into
the
mattress
like
she's
in
quick
sand,
hmm
but
she
purchased
and
tested
a
firm
mattress
at
the
store
but
this
new
mattress
doesn't
appear
to
have
the
same
quality.
Angry
at
the
sunk
hole
in
her
mattress
and
not
getting
a
good
night's
rest
she
calls
the
store
immediately
the
next
day
to
speak
with
Carol
about
the
issue.
Carol
has
a
very
dismissive
attitude
and
tone
advising
my
mother
that
she
has
to
wait
30
days
per
their
company
policy
for
an
exchange.
I'm
curious
to
know
why
Carole
did
not
recommend
that
a
defect
claim
be
submitted
versus
just
telling
my
mom
to
wait
it
out
30
days
to
see
if
things
change.
What's
suppose
to
change
about
a
sunken
hole
in
a
mattress
in
30
days
besides
it
becoming
worse
and
my
mother's
back
giving
her
trouble.
Needless
to
say
2
days
(5/23/2022)
ago
a
call
was
made
to
Carol
again
without
success
because
she
continues
to
reiterate
her
company's
exchange
policy
(which
is
not
a
good
policy
for
a
consumer
but
that's
for
another
review.)
and
my
mom
requested
to
speak
with
someone
else
and
Carole
stated
she
would
have
the
Regional
Manager
contact
her
the
next
day
(5/24/2022)....still
waiting!!
Unfortunately,
City
Mattress
you
can
be
assured
I
will
not
support
any
future
purchases
or
recommendations
to
friends/family
to
your
company
It
appears
to
me
you're
more
concerned
with
the
advantageous
policy
that
favors
City
Mattress
ONLY
and
not
the
satisfaction
of
your
customer
in
the
end.
My
mother
and
I
are
still
expecting
a
call
to
resolve
this
matter
ASAP!
