We had prawn Pad Thai and veggie spring rolls for lunch. It was amazing! Ice cream was offered for dessert. Although it was very good, we were surprised to be charged for it. We thought it was complimentary since it was offered. We will definitely return though!

Been here twice now and the first time was amazing. The second time less so, but partly due to the season and the crowd. The food was better the first time as seemed fresher (due to seasonal supplies maybe?) The staff are fantastic, friendly and professional even when run off their feet. One of the few places on the Island I have been back to. Went with a small family group both times and all of us enjoyed it. Very affordable as well.

Very welcoming with quick and knowledgeable service. We were never left waiting long and had some fantastic insight from our server Art about Thai iced tea. Food was delicious and the portions were large. The staff's warmness and enthusiasm set a high bar for the rest of our trip in Chemainus.

Great place to stop! We showed up for an early lunch just after opening so it wasn’t busy at all yet. I really should pay more attention to the names of the people serving us because our waiter really was quite funny and so nice…laughing all the time and telling us funny stories. I wasn’t overly hungry so had decided on the coconut soup with prawns but then spied papaya salad! Always get papaya salad! So delicious and a little spicy (by about mouthful 3, more spicy 😉) The soup was equally as good…beautiful flavour. My hubby had the cashew chicken and said it was delicious. I highly recommend a visit here if you’re in the area. If you’re not, take a road trip!

We ordered takeout, and it was ready in just a few minutes. The total left only enough for a small tip from my cash payment, but it was take out and wasn't sure what to expect... However, after taking a couple of bites in my car on the way home, I had to turn around and give the owner a proper tip—it was that good. I’ll definitely be back every time I’m in town… maybe even make a special trip just for the food!

We ordered a green beef curry and a pineapple fried rice with prawns. Food was amazingly delicious! Love the extra detail of cashew nuts in the fried rice. Very authentic Thai cuisine.

Thai Pinto is incredible tasting Thai food. Chemainus, BC has a real gem on their hands. Staff is amazing and friendly and they altered a couple menu items for us. The taste and quality of this food is well worth the drive. We have eaten in and done take out. Wow !

Incredible Thai food! Everything we had I would highly recommend. Super fresh and all home made! We had the spring rolls, green curry, Tom kha, pad Thai, veggies w/garlic sauce. All of these dishes I’d have again. If you like Thai and you haven’t been here, WHAT are u waiting for. It’s a small place so seating is limited!
