I went to Chris Cable and his office due to chronic pain. We went through various tests; however, no diagnosis was found. Instead, the doctor prescribed pain medication that did alleviate the pain. Abruptly, he decided he would no longer provide the pain medication rather my PCP should provide it. The timing of this decision is the issue. He made this decision on the day I called in for a refill. Without medication, the left side of my body experiences severe pain. The doctor has this knowledge from all my previous visits. I reached out to his office asking for time to make the change so I would not experience pain. A two-week notice would have sufficed. His office refused to help me and the nurse chuckled as she explained what was happening. I am appalled that a pain management facility would practice such carelessness for a patient. If you are looking for a facility that practices in the patient’s best interest, I would advise going somewhere else.

I waited in the waiting room over an hour before seeing the nurse. The receptionist, nurse and doctor all apologized for my wait and were all very polite. They are nice people they just don't value your time and they were unable to help. The doctor said he could help but not until about a year after my surgery. He offered me the same medication that the doctor that referred me to him (a neurologist) had offered me. I was there almost 2 hours, paid my money and didn't learn anything new. I don't think I'll be returning to this place. Nice people are good but I need good care.

Not only did none of the MULTIPLE procedures stop my pain, but they owe me over $600 in refunds that my insurance has already paid them separately. For months Ive been trying to get ahold of billing but I'm constantly brushed off. The whole Alliance Pain system is a racket, you'll see multiple doctors and they will prescribe procedures that do nothing and then bill you AND your insurance. It's basically a mill to prey on people with severe spinal pain. Find ANY other doctor not affiliated with this company.

I will have to say that I am truly disappointed in how this pain group carries out their practice. From appointments being scheduled incorrectly to some of the doctors’ bedside manners and to doctors remembering what they have and haven’t done to a patient previously. To me, there is no excuse in all the errors on several occasions that we experienced. I have to give it to the nurses at the Piedmont surgical center location for their kindness and concern. The girls at the front desk at the Sandy Springs office also deserve a praise. If it had not been for those two spectacular groups of women, I could not even give them two stars. Thanks girls for making a difference in this practice.

The staff and doctors are always very polite and helpful. I have been a patient of Dr. Cables for close to 12 years and he is the most compassionate and personable pain management specialist I have ever seen. I went through 4 other doctors before I found Dr. Cable and have been very happy I found him!!! I drive 6 hours round trip every month just to see him!!! I moved out of his area a few years ago but I certainly don’t mind making the trip every month to get quality care!!!

From the front door and throughout the practice my experience is warm, inviting and caring. I feel that I'm being handled with excellence. The team understands customer service externally and internally. They work great with each other and with their patients. I talk about them all the time with my family and friends. I'd drive an hour plus to get treatment by this team. Excellent customer service is far and few. So when you find it don't let it get away!!! I love this group!!!

I've been a patient of Dr. G's for the past 3 years, and couldn't be more pleased with her and the entire Alliance Spine and Pain Center team. Everyone is helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The office is comfortable and clean. Most importantly, I trust Dr. G. and have experienced improved management of my CRPS. I would recommend ASP to anyone without reservation!

Very professional and courteous staff. I gave them trouble with my IV (veins), but they were patient with me being as gentle as they could. My anesthetic was be very careful in selecting the right medicine that fit my situation. I don't hardly remember the procedure I was so relaxed. I said "you're done already?". I highly recommend Dr Hord and his team.

I've been with Dr. Hord for a couple years and he's always wonderful. I'd suffered for years with daily pain before I was referred to a pain mgmt specialist, but I digress. Dr. Hord earns his TOP doc award every visit. I met Dr. Murray Robinson for the first time yesterday. He's a great addition to their staff; friendly bedside manner; easy patient demeanor; took time to answer my questions about alternative treatments I had researched; kind. I now have 2 great docs to see over there.

Dr Alan Hord is my savior. He is caring, compassionate and yes, a great sense of humor. He is truly a genius at his craft and I can’t imagine what I did without him! He’s the best and I highly recommend him.

I would absolutely, 💯 percent recommend your practice for anyone needing help with their spinal difficulties. You've helped me immensely and I appreciate your dedication to getting me back to moving around. Listening to my problems and understanding what is best for me, has been so helpful for me. Your office is kind and attentive. Thank you very much. Jerry Minor I am 79 and a half years old and don't want to be sidelined bc of pain. You've gotten me up and moving without too much pain. Hope others can find your practice and experience the relief from pain. Everything went great. My computer sign up somehow didn't get processed. That happens occasionally. However, my blood work procedure i.proved 100 percent. Thank you all so much. Today is the day after and I am taking it slow even though I feel like I could get out and about catching up. But am following Dr Cable's orders. He's the best. The office staff is very caring and respectful. Glad to have their professional gifts afforded to me. Thank you. Jerry Minor

There is a very uplifting feeling when you enter the office. All the receptionist are very tuned in and alert. Dr. Cable has been my doctor for many years and he is awesome. His bedside manner is wonderful. He explains everything thoroughly and responds to my questions thoroughly. And I am treated very well.

Horrible to leave me in pain after receiving my information and never called me to say I couldn’t be seen. Anyone who would make someone sit in pain like this is disgusting .

Dr. Cables and staff are welcoming, professional, compassionate caregivers and provide quality options for pain relief. A+ care. 11/14/23. Saw Ms. Sheth PA today as a follow up post procedure. She was professional, helpful, and efficient. Visit went well though there was confusion with regards to scheduling my next procedure. After I checked with my insurance I think it was straightened out.I hope so. Dr. Cable's team is patient oriented and do much to provide pain relief to his patients.

What a complete disappointment!! I'm sitting in my car in pain!! I waited for a week and two days for this appointment! I was excited to possibly work with Alliance Spine and Pain Clinic and my pain care! Everyone up to this point has been very professional, kind and caring! I think some of these Dr's need to get off their ego and treat the patient! I forgot the female Dr's name but I do remember her lips was 5 sizes to big for her body ( botched injections)! Her bedside manner was awful! I felt she didn't listen to me and it was obvious she didn't care!! I also, explained to her I have an 8 year old son to care for! Please if anyone knows of a Professional Caring Orthopedic Doctor that can help, please reach out to me.. Thank you to the PA or Assist that made me feel cared for , listed to and valued!

This review is for Dr. Richard Gayles and not the rest of the practice. I was treated with stem cells at Dr. Gayles’ previous practice “Nona Medical Arts”. I’m writing this review to warn others that may be considering stem cells in their spine from Dr. Gayles. Dr. Gayles comes across as a very caring and knowledgeable person, but the regenerative spine procedures he may still be performing has and can cause serious damage as it has to me. I had a stem cell injection into my spine by Dr. Gayles two years ago and am still suffering from the procedure with chronic pain that is worse than any back pain I ever had before. Please do your own research and seek multiple opinions before committing to stem cells in your spine.

I have received excellent care from this practice for over 10 years. Although I have had the same skilled physician, Allen Hord, my clinicians have changed over the years. They include RNs, NPs, and PAs. I have received amazing care from all these clinicians. Cheryl Hord, NP, and PA Ashika, (I'm sorry I don't know her last name) have been the most recent clinicians I have had the pleasure to work with. They are knowledgeable, efficient, kind and compassionate. I believe that many characteristics can be learned, but kindness and compassion come from the heart. Chronic pain is a hard condition to live with, but the people at this practice make it bearable. Everyone in this practice, including CRNAs, technicians and office support personnel are number one in my opinion.

For twenty years. I have depended on spine pain specialists to relieve by back pain. With their help, I don’t have to take pills to control the pain. Dr. cable and his team are new to me and it was wonderful experience. Especially because I left with no pain!

Alliance Spine and Pain in Buckhead are excellent! I have been going to them for more than a year or so for back, neck, and spine injuries I suffered from being a professional firefighter in 2009. I have been retired now for over 11 years and that should give you some idea of how long-suffering it is. After finding this great team, they listened to my concerns and addressed them accordingly. Dr. G is just that a "G!" She and her team deserve (10) ten stars! Thank you for helping me cope better with my back, neck, and spine issues! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I appreciated that the staff and Dr Cable were prompt and respectful of my time. Dr Cable is very personable and knowledgeable and I left the office with much better insight into my problem. I’m hopeful that after an MRI, which Dr Cable ordered, that I will be a candidate for an epidural injection. Crystal also very pleasant and professional.

The medical services are excellent. Dr. Hord has really helped. I have found the PA to be unhelpful and not knowledgeable about the procedures performed. The practice must over schedule because I'm always waiting. On the last follow-up with Dr. Hord, I waited 1:45 past appointment time to be seen, with not apology nor explanation for the wait. So, the practice of medicine is excellent, but timeliness and social skills are lacking.

I went for an appointment today for an Epidural Steroid injection, and after waiting for a while the nurse called and I went inside a room. She set me in a wheelchair, took my vital signs and told me the Doctor would come in and see me shortly. When the Doctor came, he told me my doctor wanted him to do a list of things to me, I Asked him what sorts of things and he explain that he would need to stick me in my back of my spine, put a tube in me, and inject Steroids then he started drawing on the back of my neck. A nurse came in and rolled me in this room, with a bed, with a hole in the top for your head. She asked me to lay down on my stomach with my face in the hole. I did, but I told her I couldn't breathe. I laid there for a few minutes when I notice I couldn't move my hand, next I tried to move my legs, but I couldn't; they had strapped me in like I was a convicted felon who had just escape from prison. I was appalled, I immediately asked them to release me. I had to tell them twice. I got up and left. I didn't go there for surgery, only for a shot. I felt ambushed and very angry when I left,

Dr Hord has been my pain management therapist for past 12-15 years. He has seen me through 4 back surgeries. I’m very grateful that he and his staff have been very supportive. I have degenerative disc disease and it’s been very frustrating with so many surgeries. However Dr Hord has been successful locating the pain points and has taken aggressive measures to keep me comfortable as I go through other steps with other physicians, to get the best results for me. He works well with other physicians. Five stars all the way.

I have nothing but positive things to say about my services and care. Cheryl is very personable and caring. She is very knowledgeable about pain management and gives careful thought about your specific treatments. I don’t feel like my treatment plan is generic. She listens carefully to how you are feeling. She is not afraid to reach out and communicate with your other doctors, to include them in your best treatment plan. My treatments have made a great difference in my quality of life! My pain is manageable and I’m able to do many of the things I would like to do with my family. As I get older, I am so thankful that I have someone that I trust with pain management and my quality of life.

Great staff friendly and respectful! And Dr. Hoard is the best and Cheryl and Rayoul are awesome! They listen to the patients! The most important thing is that all of them care about the patients! I’ve been a patient of Alliance going on 2 years. Hands down this is the best pain management I’ve been to in a long time! Thanks Alliance

I absolutely love Ms Cheryl Hord. No matter where I tell her I hurt, she explains the technical and lay terms to me. She asks questions to make sure she understands my rudimentary descriptions in order to provide the best treatment possible. She makes me feel like my care is important to her. I trust that the treatment she suggests and provides is necessary and not a money grab. I trust her.
