The hotel was great and the atmosphere is very modern with amazing infrastructure. However, room wasn't clean before my check in and I noticed the bathroom was "disgusting" when I entered the room. I understand there is a lack of staff everywhere, but lack of hygiene can become a reason for health issues. The staff overall is RUDE! The front desk ladies were extremely unpleasant and avoided eye contact at all time. At one point I noticed one of the ladies was pretending she wasn't listening to my questions. It was extremely disrespectful and hurtful. Definitely, a place I'm not keeping in mind for my next visit in Atlanta.

This hotel was very nice and the staff were too. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because when we got here, there was one person at check-in, and multiple folks were checking in and then coming back to the desk as their key cards weren't working. Same thing happened to us and we were super rushed as we had plans. Other than that, the room was clean, minimal noise, and the staff were very nice, and the parking garage was a plus. Would definitely stay again.

Great room, everything was clean, nice and high quality. The space was large. Everything seemed new or updated. Great service, the staff at the front desk was friendly and had great dinner suggestions. This had a great location, able to walk out the door and be in the middle of mid town. The prices were fair for the quality after doing an extensive search.

We stayed at this hotel because we were in town for a concert at the Fox Theater. We walked from the hotel to meet friends for dinner and then walked to the Fox Theater and back to the hotel after the concert. The location was great!!! Our experience at the hotel was flawless. It is a modern and well maintained upscale hotel. Our room appeared to be brand new or newly renovated and I have included photos with this review. All staff we encountered were genuinely friendly and professional. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet the next morning and it is one of the best buffet breakfasts you will find anywhere. We would highly recommend this hotel!

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking your hotel. This website will compare countless booking websites and usually will have rates a lot cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This place is one of my favorites in this area. I have been staying here for a very long time. If you stay for a few days you for sure will love it I'm sure! Excellent location. Served us well as Jamaican citizens who ended up here after missing a connected flight. Front desk staff made us feel right at home. The rooms offer tea and water. A snack store is also in the lobby with many other shops nearby.

No surprises with the rooms, and the conference center and restaurant were top notch. There was a huge party in the ballroom and we were next door - could barely hear them The restaurant buffet was fantastic. We ate 6 meals there, each one was scrumptious. They have a very talented chef and the front service staff was polite, prompt, and on top of everything. Location in mid-town was great.

I attended the South-East Dreaming Salesforce conference here last week, and i must say it’s a great hotel that clean and quiet. You don’t hear guests next door. Very peaceful air system that makes no noise. What was really bad: 1. Conference Room 4 had air temperature of 85F, and no possibility to breathe. I asked the hotel staff to help. Nothing happened. 2. Breakfast grapes my friend and I grabbed had massive nasty mold growth. 3. The guy in charge of the downstairs restaurant misled me and my friend and then harassed us intensely, here’s how. We were in the lobby at 6:45 am on 6/30/23. I asked the guy for some drinking water as he was at the bar in the lobby. He said that drinking water was inside the restaurant only. I said we are waiting for OUR breakfast, the CONFERENCE breakfast which was free. He deliberately told us that THAT breakfast in the downstairs restaurant WAS the free conference breakfast and guided us inside. We ate, then the guy comes to me and says: breakfast is $17! I’m like: what are you talking about? You brought us here telling us this was the free conference breakfast! He said: the free conference breakfast is not here, so give me $17… What an idiot! Of course my friend and I did not give him $34. I went to Miss Jennifer at the front desk. She’s professional and sane, and she told this idiot to leave us alone. I liked everything else, especially all other aspects of their service. It’s a beautiful and clean place, but beware of the guy at the downstairs restaurant who’s intentionally misleading guests and then harasses them.

Nice place for a work stay - great customer service and close to a lot of cool dining options. Also, get the feel of campus by taking a short walk over the freeway into frat/sorority row. Not sure I'd stay there with family - but for our work group it was great.

I recently just stayed at this hotel with my family for a few days. It was lots of fun! The hotel rooms were clean and very pretty. I love the whole theme, go jackets! Though we had just a few problems… Staff was just alright. Some were nice like housekeeping who always smiled our way and the bartenders were very sweet people. The rest of the staff, they were just okay. I’m not expecting everyone to be nice and be chipper all the time but just that 1% of attitude can really wreck a whole day. Everyone mumbles and act like we know what they’re talking about. But the biggest problem was the parking garage!! We payed extra multiple times for the complicated system and we weren’t sure what was going on. They just kept asking us for money every time the machine would take the ticket but the ticket was proof that we payed for everything. We weren’t sure because no one was saying anything. The ladies who were in charge of parking were very sassy when we were nice as possible. Other than that, food was great the rooms were splendid everything. Staff members were just a little off. Thank you for our stay.

Location is great to Georgia Tech..right in the center of it. Tons of parking. Hotel is newly renovated so it is still on the newer side feel. Front desk is friendly but the lady at the parking meter booth is more informative of places to eat etc. Great lady! Only wish is for the hotel to serve open free breakfast since waffle house next door was so busy! Also walls were so thin..I can hear everything. Some guests were very loud. Other than that we had no major issues in this hotel.

We LOVE the GT Hotel!!! It's super convenient and super clean!! Plus, their staff is soooo friendly!! We had the pleasure of mtg the General Mgr on our last visit in Nov '23 and he wanted to ensure everything was to our liking!! I also really appreciate the GT 'touches' throughout the hotel and in the rooms - helps a GA Tech fan feel right at home!

The front desk staff was very rude. Instead of greeting us with a hello or welcome, they simply asked, 'Check-in?' without making any eye contact. The male staff member didn't provide any information about the hotel or its amenities, nor did he inquire about how many keys we needed. It was an unpleasant experience overall. When I mentioned that parking was supposed to be included, he dismissively replied with a simple 'No' and didn't offer any assistance in resolving the issue. Only after showing evidence did he instruct me to park first and bring the ticket to him, without offering an apology or showing any concern. The next morning, a female receptionist was present when we dropped off the key, but she completely ignored us and didn't utter a single word. The interior of the rooms has been gut renovated, but the building itself is very old, and the walls are very thin. I was woken up by someone talking, not loudly, from the next room.

Nice rooms and amenities in the heart of Georgia Tech and Midtown. Extra points for lots of plugs, comfortable seating, and a mini fridge with space to store your own food. My only complaints are small and about the shower, which was slow to warm up and had a door and handle that were heavy and hard to move with carpal tunnel.

  • 4/5 Jenae B. 10 months ago on Google
I stayed there for 3 nights. My room had a nice view of Midtown, and the hotel was quiet. The room had a nice modern bathroom and was very spacious. However, the rug was old and dingy looking, and the doorknob to the bathroom dangled. The mattress seemed a little old and dipped on the edge of the bed. Other than those issues, I would've given it a 5 stars

This hotel is in a great location! There are a ton of things to do within walking distance, or there are even more things to do a short car ride away. The rooms were clean and new-ish. Our rooms A/C unit didn't work very well. The beds were ok, but the pillows weren't great. If pillows are a big thing to you, you may want to bring yours. The pool looked nice, and there weren't many people crowding it up. We got a great deal from one of the online booking sites. 👌

Don't forget to use HotelDully.ᴄᴏm when booking any resort. This site will compare hundreds of booking websites and usually will have rooms much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This resort is one of the best in the area. I've been staying here for years. If you stay for a few nights you won't be disappointed. The service was amazing, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and location was convenient to all of the events taking place. So thankful we gave this establishment a try.

Being an engineer I love the interiors of GA Tech. My room had a mathematician's journal kind of wall paper with plenty of geometry sketches and calculus doodles. Pictures of patents in the bath are a great touch too. Most of the interiors have geometric designs which I prefer over floral prints. They provide great service and rooms are well managed. No complaints on room service but the overall prices are on the higher side considering that breakfast is generally not included in the package. Their inhouse restaurant has a buffet like no others, I enjoyed that very much.

I attended the National MBE Manufacturing Summit held at the GA Tech Hotel and Conference Center. The facility was near perfect for the event. I entered from the parking deck directly to the registration desk. The opening session was held on the same floor just a few hundred feet away from registration. All of the activities of the conference were easy to navigate.

The front desk was rude. Wanted to have some toiletries sent up. The discussion went up like; “Can you send me up some tooth…” “You have to come and get it” “Can you send me some food this time?” “No” What’s the point of guest services in the first place then?

I'm currently in this hotel now its 11:03pm 10/16/2021. I'm on the 4th floor room 412. It started out peaceful but man I tell you as a Motorcoach Bus Driver we don't require much. Just a quiet room at the end of the hall at least so we won't really be bothered by a lot of noise so we can rest. Well I can't rest because there's a wedding party on this floor making all the noise in the world. Since I got to this hotel absolutely nothing has gone right. I called them yesterday to find out about where I will be parking my Double Decker Bus and they told me they had everything covered. Well it was explained later that someone didn't leave the information with the Front Desk personnel. Then later they told me I would be escorted by someone to show me where to park and then they would bring me back to the hotel. Well I got a piece of paper with directions and an address and a phone number to contact someone to pick me up and bring me back to the hotel. I used that phone number to talk to a kind person who helped me find the parking lot because the directions were not correct. Then I called an uber to bring me back to the hotel. Now it's 11:16pm and there's nothing but NOISE ON THIS ENTIRE HALLWAY FROM A WEDDING PARTY!!! A Bus Driver Needs Rest, we carry lives from place to place daily. It is imperative that Drivers get their much needed rest to drive. This is not the place to get that. 😒 Go somewhere you can rest.

I enjoy this conference center a lot. If you are doing something at a Georgia Tech, there’s not a better location. Right next to Tech Square and lots of good eating options. Hotel has pool and hot tub….

My wife and I recently used the GTH&CC as our wedding block and we could not be happy with that decision. The hotel has an event manager that we worked with, Edie, who was a delight and so helpful as we went through the process. We also worked closely with AJ from the event team, and have the same wonderful thoughts about her. We had about 60+ people stay here in about 35ish rooms and it was such a great experience. All of our guests had wonderful things to say about the wedding block booking portal, check-in, how beautiful the rooms and hotel design was, how great the bar & club room was, how delicious the breakfast buffet was, how easy the parking was in the garage, and a great location in the city and to our venue (the Fernbank Museum) it was. My wife stayed in the Presidential Suite, along with the extra adjoining bedroom. This was perfect as her bridal suite too with how spacious it was and that she, her 7 bridesmaids, and a few others could all be in there with the hair & makeup team to get ready. Even with all of those people and the catering, it did not feel crowded. It was also nice as this was the room we stayed in after our wedding, and it was so nice to have a space to relax in after the wedding and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. I stayed in the Junior suite the night before, and it was perfect for me and my groomsmen and the dad's to hang out and get ready. Beyond the rooms, we also had a post-wedding breakfast in the dining area the next morning. It was a perfect way to see our guests before they all traveled home. The bar & club room was also great as we worked with the hotel to host a welcome party there the Friday night before our wedding. I really don't have anything negative or constructive to say about our stay and highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a great hotel block in the city.

Great place to stay, beautiful clean modern look, everything looked pristine. The front desk customer service was excellent. On our day to check out Alexiss went above and beyond to help us with leaving the housekeeper a tip and by contacting garage services to let us out since we didn’t have a ticket to get out. We will definitely come back again

The Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center is an awesome place to stay while in Atlanta. We attended a convention located inside and decided to stay for the convenience. The rooms are nice and the staff was friendly from the desk to the service. There's a bar that was a little pricey but had a nice atmosphere. The location is amazing with so many places to eat and relax within walking distance. The area is covered with Georgia Tech logos and colors and I must say, it made me wish I was young again and could attend college here. Everything just seemed so modern but still cozy just walking around. Only bad thing is it's Atlanta... geaux Saints. Who dat!

Spent this past weekend in ATL. The GT Hotel and Conference Center is conveniently located, but sadly the only reason for 3 stars. We had three king rooms and the beds are not king size or Cali king size, they are significantly smaller. As seen in other reviews, the front desk staff can be rude, and their responses are not helpful.

Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference in Midtown Atlanta is a hidden gem. Stylish rooms, top-notch cleanliness, and a friendly, helpful staff create a delightful experience. Located in the vibrant heart of Midtown Atlanta, it's the ideal choice for a smart, memorable stay.

Very nice hotel with clean and well decorated common areas. Room was clean and well taken care of with plastic bags on the remote control. All lamps and side tables had multiple plugs and USB charging stations. The elevator required a room key card to access guest floors which made us feel extra safe. Within easy walking distance of the Fox Theater. Will definitely consider this for our next stay.

Nice hotel in a great part of Midtown Atlanta; close to the Georgia Tech campus and plenty of cool restaurants nearby. The conference and meal facilities were excellent, while the rooms themselves were fairly standard. The hotel is certainly overpriced and my fellow guests often complained about noise from drag racing during the night.

The amenities, excepting wifi, are great. I've never found better staff anywhere. Parking is cheap. The carpets need cleaning or replacing. The rooms are horribly loud. Some idiot tiled the thresholds to the rooms; any and all hall noise is right there in the room with you and no conversation is private. Still, it's a great price for the location. The property is in excellent repair. Went elsewhere tonight and am regretting the decision. Make sure you book directly with the hotel.

Beyond my expectations! The room is super clean and stylish! They also have a parking deck next to the Hotel which is even better! However, no direct access to the parking deck from the inside of hotel makes it bit inconvenient.

Always a great hotel to visit and have meetings - since our last visit, they have renovated guest rooms and they are a beauty, large walk in showers and hospitality beyond expectations. Handled our group and all our meeting and events needs without missing a beat - and oh the food!!! We never stopped eating. Just a great and productive week.

Nice size conference room with comfortable chairs. The dining was excellent and all the servers had the best customer service skills. Although I didn't get photos of the food due to respect of the occasion. I must say there was a huge variety of healthy choices from the grill, Entree's to salads and vegetables. It was a great 5 star experience.

Another great stay! I was there for a conference and really enjoyed my time. As with previous conferences I've attended at the hotel, the food was tasty, my bed was comfortable and every staff member I met was super friendly and helpful! Looking forward to visiting again soon!!

Not bad. Very convenient location. One of the safest areas of Atl (if that even exists). Main issue my room was dirty with long black hairs in the shower and bathroom. The remote control was in a plastic bag but the remote itself was filthy as can be with dirt and grime built up in between the buttons. Staff was nice and most mornings they set up a complimentary coffee station with tiny little styrofoam cups. The gym was pretty decent and I do appreciate the water dispenser in gym. I didn’t go into the pool due to a healing tattoo, but they had the indoor pool and hot tub open for use. Not bad, I would stay again but would bring lots of sanitary wipes to clean my room properly.

  • 5/5 C S. 1 year ago on Google
Super clean hotel, very nice staff! Comfy beds and great water pressure in the shower. Would definitely stay here again. Nice and safe area of Atlanta to be in as well. We walked around to the restaurants nearby and even to the aquarium from here. The only negative is that there isn’t a barrier between the tile of your room and the carpet outside….thus it leaves like an inch of open space beneath the door. You’ll be able to hear everything in the hallways. We just stuffed towels there to block out the sound and didn’t have any problems afterwards.

While the on-site staff is friendly and the location is convenient, cleanliness at this hotel is lacking for the following reasons: (1) our young child contracted bacterial folliculitis as a result of exposure to chemically imbalanced water in the hotel's hot tub requiring the child to be treated with an oral antibiotic; (2) we found a plastic fork under our bed upon arrival; (3) albeit being visibly dirty (dried blood stain) and requesting service, the sheets on one of the beds were never changed. Following our stay, I called the hotel to make management aware of the bacterial infection caused by the hot tub and hopefully prevent other people from getting sick. The intent to of my call was purely to raise awareness of a public health and safety issue. Not only did the responsible manager (Jeff) act disinterested during the entire duration of the call, he was ready to end the call without any kind of apology. Being truly stunned by this lack of professionalism, I asked whether he would apologize. Only then did Jeff say he's sorry and he is going to look into it and call me back. Jeff never called me back. The lack of professionalism by the manager (Jeff) as well as the apparent lack of regard for public health and cleanliness still shock me.

I've just checked into the hotel tonight for tours of the campus with my daughter's tomorrow. I must say the lobby is super cute and the front desk person was very professional and friendly. I .sad to say I can not say the same about our room. The bathroom is filthy absolutely nasty. The shower floor and walls were covered in hair and debris. It is obvious this shower was not cleaned after the last guest. There is blonde and brunette colored hair all over the shower, bathroom and room, in the bed linens also. I always travel with clorox wipes, I had to scrub the shower myself before we could get clean for bed. There was also hair in the wash cloths. This is unacceptable for a hotel that is charging me $650, for 2 nights!!!! So far I'm extremely disappointed. I would have called the front desk to complain but the poor lady at the desk was already dealing with 2 other unhappy guest when we checked in. Its almost 2 am, I"ll save my complaint for a manager tomorrow.

We stayed one night in an excellent, clean room, with coffee maker, water bottles, enough towels, and no single-use soap and shampoo but installed, less wasteful big bottles. We didn’t use any of the amenities, but overall the hotel left a good impression.

The service here was really stellar. The only sort of hiccup there was, was I arrived early and I asked if there was early check in. The desk attendant didn't even look up my reservation and she just said no. My dad came later and got us early check in to both of our rooms. Which was a little irritating that he had to take care of it and I wasn't taken seriously. Besides that everything was great. Especially yacob at the buffet. He waited on my father and I. He was really attentive. Rooms were cleaner than most nice hotels.
