This 5 star hotel is just phenomenal! Our safety is very important to us so, I love that you need a security card to even get on the elevator to get upstairs where the rooms are. I also love that there's a door bell on every door instead of having to listen out for a knock. The grand entrance and showstopper lobby decor is just stunning. I am all about peace and tranquility, so, I love the fountain outdoor space!

When I'm in Atlanta I usually stay at the Hyatt Centric in Midtown or the Hyatt Regency Atlanta downtown but decided to try the Grand Hyatt in Buckhead which was a great choice. The lobby is beautiful with a great bar. The outdoors garden was also really beautiful. This hotel is convenient to so many places, I never had to take the car out of the garage and self-parking was very easy. My room was spotlessly clean on arrival and cleaned each day I were there. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient from check in to check out. The breakfast was excellent with a good variety of food, the set up was efficient and the staff very attentive. I would definitely stay here again.

Was in town for a conference and they had us stay here. For a business stay I think this is a great hotel. It has everything you're looking for a few days stay. Good size rooms, a good fitness area, and close enough to restaurants and bars. It checks all those boxes. The first thing I noticed were the beds. They were FIRM. I love firm beds and slept great but I know most don't so it is something you should be aware of. I loved it. Another thing I noticed was all the rooms were different. Some had balconies, some had bidets (yes, a Toto bidet), everyones room I spoke to was different. Where I think they could use some work are the showers. A little upgrade like new shower heads would go along way in making in look more modern. All in all, a good business hotel and you should feel confident going there.

Locating parking is horrible unless you valet ($18 minimum) and surrounding parking is $20 minimum. I've attended two conferences (different groups) here and the organization at both was also horrible. Note: Beautiful hotel and I have only attended conferences at this location and I do not have any comments on the rooms, room or other services.

We were extremely happy with out stay.... everything in this hotel is in tip top shape and made for a lovely experience. The club room upstairs had amazing hospitalty workers and was lovely to spend time in and enjoy free appetizers and breakfast... so glad we opted for that option. The pool was amazing... huge and the perfect temp. Lots of great details like the free private car service within 2 miles of the property. Our room was modern and clean. Best bang for the buck I have ever gotten from an American hotel.

Stayed for the weekend and had an amazing experience. The lobby is breathtaking, friendly staff and very accommodating. I needed a microwave in the room and they provided one right away. We had a breakfast package and food was amazing, best grits I've ever had! The only negative experience I had was I didn't care for the shower head, it was a cheap one with no strong water pressure compared to the other Hyatts I've stayed but overall great stay!

I went here for a conference. The place looks great and has a lovely outdoor plaza. The catering was spot on. All the dishes they brought out were cooked and seasoned well. The only slight was the chicken which was the faintest bit overcooked. All the steaks and salmon ranged from medium to medium-well, so at least none were well done! It seems the people in charge of their venue hosting are fairly outgoing and they do a great job setting everything up. They did, however, not bring enough plates or tables out for everyone, so that's that. The drinks were nice, a bit on the alcoholic side but I guess that's what most would prefer, huh? Everything at the hotel was kept clean and well in stock, it's what you can expect from a hotel at this price range but honestly, catering-wise, I prefer this to the equivalent Marriott.

This hotel is really nice and has great conference capabilities. The meals were all excellent and the accommodations were good. The only thing that is a negative is the prices for everything are crazy. Breakfast was like $26 every morning, the convenience store charges for two bottles of water and a chex mix was like $16, and a beer at the bar was something like $12. The gardens and amenities were top notch otherwise.

I’ve stayed here twice now. The room is clean and spacious. The bathroom as well. The hotel is quite large and has many ballrooms of various sizes. The staff is nice and helpful. There is a little convenience shop for things one may have forgotten or need to purchase, though it is very expensive. There’s an on-site bar/restaurant, but three times I’ve gone to a table and waited such a long time for service that I left or went to the bar to order instead. There is a waiter/waitress for the tables but the service is slow. There’s a lot of drink options and decent food options there. Good hotel all in all. I did not take advantage of many of the amenities so no opinion there.

I stayed here over the weekend with my family and left several rings behind on a desk, including a sentimental and valuable engagement ring. I had moved rooms and did not realize until after 24 hours later and there was another person in the room. Needless to say, I was beside myself. We alerted the front desk, the staff including Aurora and Maria (manager) were level-headed in trying to calm me, explaining the hotel procedures and taking immediate action they could. Within a couple hours, Nadine (housekeeping manager), delivered the rings to my room after contacting the staff who cleaned the room and set it aside for me. I am incredibly grateful in the compassionate way they treated this stressful situation, and their action in helping me get it back quickly.

Fast check in, staff were really welcoming, concierge was very helpful. Room was spacious, clean and nice. The location is perfect, close to everything. Doesn’t have free parking but they do offer paid valet parking ( fast and convenient).

My husband and I spent a weekend here and really enjoyed our stay! The hotel is beautiful and the room as well as the pool area were neat and very clean. I loved that there was a bar and restaurant within the hotel. One of the best parts was you can valet your car and use the hotel shuttle to get around, which is nice when you don’t want to have to get in all the traffic.

This was our first time staying here. The hotel has the feel of a luxury hotel in the commons areas, but the rooms could actually use updating. Some of the furniture in our room was scratched up. The toiletries were from Paris for the most part, so that was a nice touch that my wife appreciated. We all loved the waterfalls inside the hotel garden, but especially my daughter was excited. She had to touch the water in the pond. There was an Indian wedding party at the hotel, so that provided a new and interesting experience for us. As we left the hotel to get our car from the self parking facility, the wedding party was gathering outside the front of the hotel. Many people were dressed in red and gold clothing, that we assumed was traditional attire for the wedding. There was a gentleman beating on a drum that was connected to an amplifier. A few minutes later when we drove back by, there was a man we assumed to be the groom wearing a turban and sitting on a white horse. The manager that checked us in gave us a complimentary breakfast for the morning, since it was our first time staying at the hotel. The room key has a QR code on it to access guest services, but the code didn’t work. I notified the front desk and they had no idea that the code was not working. Overall we really liked the hotel.

Beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. Enjoyed sitting at the bar area just enjoying the view of the gardens while having a nightcap.

The lobby and exterior is very beautiful. The rooms are small/ really average and we encountered several problems quickly. Lack of towels, no hotel info or welcome pack for guests, the bath tub drain wouldn't stop up for me to bathe my kids, food was burnt (that night, the next morning breakfast was great-- however at $200 for 4 to eat, I really expect a lot better). We won't be staying here again and do not recommend.

Our stay at Grand Hyatt Buckhead was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we stepped into the elegant lobby, we were captivated by the hotel's beauty and sophistication. The check-in process was a breeze, and the staff made it effortlessly pleasant. The attention to detail was evident as we entered our room – a perfect blend of comfort and style. The room, as requested, was allergen-free, and we were delighted to find a top-notch air purifier ensuring a pristine environment. Knowing that the room hasn't had any pets in it added an extra layer of reassurance for those with allergies. The elegant lounge provided a perfect setting for relaxation, whether enjoying a quiet evening or connecting with fellow travelers. The ambiance was classy, and the service was impeccable. Overall, Grand Hyatt Buckhead exceeded our expectations in every aspect – from the beautiful hotel design to the thoughtful details in the rooms. If you're looking for a luxurious and allergen-conscious stay in Buckhead, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

Nice size rooms, very clean, convenient location. Japanese zen garden on site. Restaurant with views of the garden. The food was good, the service was slow the night I went. View from my room was nice. There is also an option for a pure room, which is feather free and has an air purifier in the room. If I were back in this area, I would stay here again.

Great hotel, all workers were very accommodating. Nice pool are and beautiful japanese garden. Bar area is also nice and quiet. Great location for walking to breakfast and restaurants. Joe the driver makes it easy to be dropped off and picked up, that's a free service to boot. Would return.

We recently stayed two nights. Discovered after first night that towels weren't replaced, trash not emptied, nor ANY room service provided unless 3 night had been booked. This is a 2 star hotel at best with 4 star prices. The area was dead as more people work remotely. Go elsewhere for a room and action.

Our visit started off rocky but the customer service in the end from the manager was superb. It was just a series of cancellations, disappointments, and incidents. The manager tried to make sure we ended up having an overall "grand" experience. The hotel itself is fabulous! Everything a 4 star hotel should and would be! Our family loved the grand suite and would consider staying here again in our stop to Atlanta on our yearly trips!

Grand Hyatt was a perfect location right outside of the worst traffic areas and in a convenient area near restaurants, and, most importantly, near Chastain Park. We were seeing a concert there and it was the perfect central location to get there and back with no issues and also enjoy the surrounding area. The room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The hotel offers a great selection of conveniences like a coffee shop, dining for breakfast, lunch, and dinner which is always great when you're running behind like I am. Highly recommend the Cassis for breakfast as the food was great and the service was even better. Everyone who I interacted with was so kind and helpful which really leaves an impression on you. I will definitely stay at this location again when I'm back in Atlanta.

Beautiful hotel. Great location. Was disappointed when our room was not cleaned. When asked why, I was told I had to request for cleaning. No one informed me about that previously.

We came to Atlanta to visit a family member in the hospital but wanted to stay out of downtown and in a safer area as we have children. After searching all of the hotels in the area we decided on the Grand Hyatt and are so glad we did. The rooms were clean, restaurants were tasty and the service all around was wonderful. The self parking deck was very easy to access. If we ever come back to the area this will be where we stay.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Grand Hyatt for my honeymoon. Our first impressions walking in were spectacular, gorgeous views of the waterfall on site and high end furnishings making you feel like royalty. The staff throughout the building were friendly, personable, attentive, and impressively hard working. Every meal we had was delicious, the garden was revolutionary and the pool was lots of fun. We had a very difficult time getting appointments for our return covid tests and it caused a lot of stress but as soon as we spoke with Amanda Caplan at the front desk, she managed to go above and beyond to ensure we got everything we needed for our return home. I've yet to stay somewhere that could provide the amount of hospitality everyone at this hotel provided. We absolutely will be staying again, and will cherish the memories made during our stay for a lifetime. Thank you to all the lovely smiling staff we had the pleasure of meeting!

We chose to spend our weekend at the Grand Hyatt in Buckhead and were so pleased with every aspect. The front desk attendants were very welcoming, the hotel itself was beautifully decorated, and our room (Grand Suite) was spacious, clean, and well stocked with all of the little extras. We used the hotel driver service for dinner Saturday night and Joe Z. was our wonderful driver. Overall a great experience that provided every reason to return!

We stayed here two weekends ago and had a wonderful time. We were there to attend a political conference. This hotel is convenient to so many places, we never had to take the car out of the garage. Self parking was very easy. Our room was spotlessly clean on arrival and cleaned each day we were there. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient from check in to check out. They were also good with directions when asked. As part of the conference, breakfast and lunch by the hotel was provided and it was excellent. There was a good variety of food, the set up was efficient and the staff very attentive. We had one issue with the TV and the gentleman sent up from the front desk came quickly and was able to help us. We would stay here again.

There were shredded hair beside the tub, water bottles were not intact, important toiletries weren't there. Definitely not clean, didnt not qualify for a 4 star or category 3 hotel. It's a good location though. Service isn't upto the standard either.

This review is for Zaria at the front desk. I delivered an order for one of the guest and she was 100% rude. I was waiting in the lobby for guest as requested, she then yelled out “Are you dropping off?” Like no greeting or anything then when I walked up to desk and tried to explain to her the customers request she cut me off and just took the food before I could even take a picture for my customer. I felt like I was treated less than in FRONT OF OTHER GUEST and honestly whether I’m staying at the Hyatt or a visitor your customer service should always be great with everyone bc you’re representing the company with high value guest so please work on your customer service skills. We ARE ALL HUMAN!

Great hotel in the middle of Buckhead - the Suite is quite a Suite! Great gym as well… slight drawbacks are the parking - costs a small fortune and self parking is across the street down a sharp slope. Club lounge is average.

I love this Grand Hyatt Buckhead. It’s a classy hotel and it’s a great place to stay when you want to treat yourself. I am a proud Hyatt member, so when I have a Globalist status, they will upgrade my room to suite, receive free valet parking ($50 per night) and enjoy free continental breakfast. All staffs are very well trained and professional. They are not working there between jobs but real hotelman and hotelwoman. Yes I agree it’s not a cheap hotel, but somehow this Grand Hyatt makes me keep coming back.

One of my wife’s favorite places is the zen garden here at the Grand Hyatt. Always get the 5 star treatment from everyone who works here. Have stayed here several times and Will definitely be back.

I loved it here! I've been trying Hyatt's lately and am really liking them. The front desk staff was really nice, the rooms were clean, and really quiet. There were plenty of plugs for my devices. They had my hypoallergenic room ready. The only thing that didn't go well is that it's nearly impossible to get someone on the phone to get my hypoallergenic room.

We just completed a 2-night stay at the Grand Hyatt in Buckhead, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This is a well-managed property, from the front desk staff to housekeeping; it has maintained a high level of service even during COVID. Hard product wise, the hotel has kept up well considering its age. The lobby and the Onyx Bar are nicely renovated; our corner King room was well-appointed and had excellent views. We had dinner at the Onyx Friday night and ate breakfast at Cassis both mornings; both places served excellent food, and the service was exceptional. Special thanks to Calvin, director of operations, who arranged a nice in-room surprise for us to celebrate our special occasion. This is now our favorite hotel in Atlanta - it beats the Ritz downtown and the Whitley in our books.

Attended a formal event Saturday in the Highland ballroom and the bartending service was horrifying. The event space, catering staff and chef were phenomenal but the bartender and his service turned many guests away, including myself. He was frustrated with the machine not working to take cards, and thus created a line and caused a delay in us entering the ballroom to begin the event. We all politely waited for him, allowed 1-2 ppl paying cash to move ahead and joked with him to help him calm down as we helped troubleshoot the machine (which only required a restart). I ordered an old fashioned and before taking more than several steps, turned around to discreetly let him know there were black particles in the ice of my drink. He took my drink and stirred it with my straw in disagreement. I pointed out they weren’t small and very visible, requesting a remake. Annoyed, he sat my drink down, got ice from inside the area chilling the open wine bottles, placed it in a new glass and began pouring my previous drink with the bad ice over the ice from the wine bottles. I immediately declined as that ice is not for serving if it’s chilling the opened bottles. He yelled at me in front of the other guests and event host (she was wondering what the delay was atp so the event could start) “ma’am you are bothering me!”. Taken aback, guests gasping as him yelling at me, I questioned, “because I refuse to drink dirty ice, sir?”. I now preferred no have no drink and for him to keep the drink and what I paid + tip. This was a formal event so I held my composure but the treatment was uncalled for, in addition, the dirty ice needed to be addressed! The ice was visibly dirty with black particles inside & to grab a drink as if your own, toy with it via my straw and give it back to me as if acceptable, get more dirty ice and pour the dirty drink on top… all unacceptable. He continued the remake without ice (since the guests and host were all waiting on him to finish my drink and the 4-5 ppl after me) and forgot to add the alcohol. Horrible start to a nice evening and event and it needed to be mentioned to make others aware. Again, the entire serving staff and chef were phenomenal. As the only vegan, he easily and quickly prepared an alternative meal that I was very pleased with. I was grateful for the host’s consideration in providing vegetarian options and even more impressed that the chef could accommodate a one off vegan plate. Well done GH. Had me considering using them to host a future event but the ice and bartending service needs attention.

One of the best Hyatt brand hotels I have ever stayed at! The customer service was above and beyond. The garden and pool were amazing and the drinks were good. It’s in walking distance to stores and restaurants. The rooms were so clean and the beds extremely comfortable. If I ever visit Atlanta again, I will most certainly stay here. ☺️

I’m up at 4:54 am writing this review. I stay in Atlanta and booked a staycation til Sunday for my anniversary but I am considering checking out due to the uncomfortable beds. I am also a World of Hyatt member and have been one for years so I’ve stayed at several Hyatt’s. The beds are super hard and uncomfortable. I will be speaking with the manager about my stay and hope to resolve this. I wish I could rate it higher but one thing a hotel should always provide is a comfortable bed. This isn’t it. However, we ate the Onyx and the hospitality was great. I will see how breakfast pans out.

Loved this place! The Japanese garden was awesome! I sat out there all day. The gym is great and kid friendly. The pool is nice clean. Restaurant/bar is very inviting. You need your key to use the elevator. Very safe. I recommend.

I’m happy to have stayed here. I was at another hotel in the area (based on the conference recommendations). I checked out and came here and enjoyed some of the amenities that this hotels offers. The bed was comfortable the room was spacious and clean. I enjoyed my quick stay but would highly recommend and will return when in the area.

This place has just been amazing! It smells amazing, and very sanitary. I was in love with the waterfall, and the weight room is bigger than most hotels, which means it does not feel like a typical hotel weight room. They have a sauna, and steam room with an overhead rain shower head in locker rooms. I am thoroughly pleased as I have stayed in the intercontinental across the street before, and I’d have to say the grand Wyatt is way nicer and better.

Rooms are very nice and clean. We were going to Johnny's Hideaway for the evening and found out that they will provide a shuttle service to and from. That's awesome, no drinking and driving. Left a great tip.

We got upgraded to a corner room with park and city skyline views for our staycation. The staff was very attentive and friendly for all of our visit. The room was clean, comfortable, and inviting with super nice bath and coffee amenities. Drinks in the bar were great. The Japanese garden is lovely to walk through before and after dark! We had a delightful stay and will definitely drop in for a drink or possibly an in-town stay again.

Very nice hotel, although more tuned for business travelers as compared to romantic getaways. Pleasant staff, clean rooms, some sound issues between rooms (walls were shockingly thin in some areas). Grand Club Lounge is closed; hotel offers top-tier members $25/dinner credit and free breakfast as alternative. Gym serviceable, especially appreciated the sauna and steam rooms. Vehicle traffic around the hotel is pretty unpleasant, plan for delays in and out. Can recommend.

Parking garage is not connected to building, will have to walk across the street to park in garage. Parking is $35/day with no breezeway to keep guest out of weather element is kind of excessive. I notified front desk manager to ask gift shop attendee to great guests upon entrance and to offer assistance if needed. The salesperson was on the phone but a simple acknowledgement would have been appreciated. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Vending machine options definitely should be available there are over 13 floors of sleeping rooms; this will help guests stay comfortably close to their rooms and grab a snack or beverage to hold them over. Staying over three nights should have a benefit of two complimentary breakfast coupons up to the cost of a buffet 🤔 just maybe

We had a short, but great stay! The staff is super friendly and well mannered. Decor is beautiful, elegant, the amenities were all working perfectly fine and well taken care. We had dinner at Onyx and breakfast at Cassis, by the outdoor garden and everything tasted great! Location was very convenient for us. 25 - 30min. from the airport.

We stayed here for only one night for my husband's birthday but it was a wonderful stay. Comfortable bed, I loved the pillows so much I'm reaching out trying to purchase a few for home. This hotel is one of the participating hotels to gain entry into the Red Phone Booth cigar bar. We valet parked our car and just used the courtesy car to and from the bar. The gentleman who drove us was VERY nice. We are dinner at the Onyx restaurant at the hotel and the food was delicious. We also ate breakfast at Cassis also located in the hotel, both we top notch! Everyone at the hotel we very nice and professional. Our only issue was during check in, they were out of luggage carts so we struggled a little bit getting our stuff upstairs to our room. Other than that everything else was wonderful and worth every penny.

Stayed at the Grand Hyatt for 4 nights for business meetings and had a wonderful experience! The staff were super helpful and so nice! The hotel itself is upscale and the food at both Cassis and Onyx were delicious! We had the Library room for our meetings and breakfast and lunch was catered by the hotel. Lovely spread, we had everything we needed and MORE. I really have absolutely no complaints. Would definitely book again when I'm in Atlanta.

This was by far the nicest hotel I think I’ve ever stayed in. Every single staff person we interacted with went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and special. I’m usually very paranoid about the cleanliness in hotel rooms but I felt very clean and comfortable. The Japanese zen garden was beautiful. If I stay in Atlanta in the future I would look to book with this hotel first.

Beautiful hotel and very pleasant people. The service in the restaurants were not up to par for the price they charge per night. The prices of the food were extremely high and the portions were extremely small plus you had to wait forever just to get your order taken. Basically a burger and a salad we waited over an 1hr and a half for this does not include the 1hr we waited for our order. Yes we could have went outside the hotel but we had just drove hours to get there and thought this was very convenient. Turns out it really would have been quicker to just leave the hotel and get food plus we would have saved around 25 dollars.

We are currently here for our 15th anniversary and Kerri at the front desk went out of her way to make it exceptional! She upgraded our room to one with a gorgeous view and even hand-delivered champagne, a card, and snacks. We only live 30 minutes away but pick a Buckhead hotel to stay in a few nights a year on special occasions. The fact that she made us feel extra special will definitely have us coming back to this one!

I had to stay on a company business for 10 days in this superb establishment and I’m beyond thrilled of the great care and the outstanding hospitality of each and everyone at The Grand Hyatt Hotel in Buckhead, Atlanta. Joseph and Drew at the front desk were awesome of my food deliveries: very personable, creative, sympathetic to the sensitivity of the situation, listening, and being able to proactively anticipate my needs. I’d like to applaud the kitchen staff at Onyx’s - unique, delicious, healthy, and very nutritional food items on the menu competitively priced. Also.. thank you to the person who called 50 min after I placed an order for a burger one evening and honestly shared there was a miscommunication for that order. He said, they had to expedite it and it was coming very soon. He owned the situation with his full integrity and professionalism. That blew my mind and made the difference for how your business is taking extraordinary care of your guests. Also, housekeeping personnel were always friendly, polite, and totally available when I needed items from them. You all guys created a very genuine hospitable experience and I’ll be always loyal to that. Thank you Grand Hyatt Atlanta!!!

Our favorite hotel in the area with comfortable rooms and first class service. The location is really excellent. One hidden secret is the dessert in the Onyx bar - both the chocolate cake and cobbler are fantastic.

We were there for my birthday and I would say it was the most wonderful hotel experience I have ever had. We had our sweet dog Ringo with us and he was treated like a celebrity. He was 14 and he passed two weeks ago. So happy we had the Hyatt experience with him! Thank you again. You added such a special memory in our lives!

An absolutely beautiful hotel in the center of Buckhead. If you're looking to take in a high-end trip, this is the place to do it. Sareece took excellent care of me, and made my check in feel very personal and interment. It's always a welcomed delight when someone from the desk takes the time to make sure the property is thoroughly explained. Such a wonderful experience.
