I stayed at this hotel for 2 days and was deeply upset by the unprofessional behavior displayed during my attempt to extend my stay. The receptionist, an individual with dreadlocks, was unable to find my reservation and exhibited both impatience and hostility. This situation escalated to the point where my grasp of the English language was openly questioned, leaving me feeling discriminated against and undervalued as a guest. Furthermore, the hotel's use of third-party platforms implies an obligation to assist guests with booking-related issues. Regrettably, this was not the case during my experience. The receptionist's negative attitude towards the third-party service and refusal to assist with the situation reflects poorly on this establishment's customer service standards. This conduct, especially in an establishment associated with Emory University, was disheartening and harmful to the hotel's reputation. I urge the management to address such behavior immediately to ensure that all guests are treated with respect and fairness in the future.

I always try to stay here when going to CDC because the location is so convenient. The staff are so nice and the hotel is NICE. Always clean! I love the in-shower shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. All smell good instead of horrid like most hotels. The shower is built in a way that’s really functional and worked perfectly. Depending on your room, the views can be wonderful. There’s such a nice “backyard” area. Love the coffee shop in the lobby, which is fairly new and very convenient. Nice fitness center and there’s a pool although I didn’t use that. I found it awkward that the treadmills look out onto the pool. Had I wanted a morning swim for exercise, I would have been too weirded out thinking everyone was looking at me. And they would have been, bc there’s no where else to look. That’s my only complaint.

Not sure why some folks have negative reviews, but my experience here was wonderful. I choose this hotel mainly because I had an early morning appointment at Emory Winship Cancer. First off this hotel is in a very clean and safe area. The hotel itself is very clean, well appointed, and landscaped beautifully. The young lady at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. I had a few adult beverages and a delicious burger and fries for dinner. Took a short walk through the walking path to look at the landscaping. The king room was very nice, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The AC was very cold like I like it. The shower water pressure was awesome. I went back to restaurant at 7:00 am and had pancakes and bacon for breakfast, very good. So folks trust me you will very much enjoy your stay here and feel completely safe. I will definitely stay here again.

This hotel was quite good. It comes equipped with a pool, a pretty comprehensive Fitness Center. There is a restaurant that will serve you breakfast ($16.25 as of 1/19/24), lunch and dinner. There is also a coffee shop in the front. Sorry of difficult to navigate. The guest rooms are on one side of the building and a lot of the building is used for a conferences, as the name indicates. The staff are friendly and we experience no issues during our stay. Our room had a nice view with curtains that completely closed for privacy.

Every single person was so nice and helpful! The hotel was beautiful and the food was amazing. A special shout out to Gary L., the shuttle bus driver. He was very helpful and informative about everything around. He went above and beyond to help me and my business group that stayed there this past week. Thanks to all of you!

Let me start by saying, AMAZING customer service. My daughter, granddaughter and I stayed here for 10 days. My grandbaby was scheduled for a heart surgery that continued to get postponed. Not only did they accommodate the adult needs, they accommodated the needs of an 11 month old. William and Eric went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The staff at the Club Room was amazing and caring. The room was big and the baby had room to crawl around. They gave us extra sheets to put on the floor for her to crawl on. There are just so many great reasons to stay here. If I ever need to be in this area again, I will without a doubt, stay with them again!! Thank you so much for all you did for us.

The hotel itself is very nice, lots of great spaces, clean updated room. The restaurant, the Club Room was a disaster, so much so that I most likely would not stay there again. Service was slow, waiter was inattentive. Manager gave a poor excuse that they were short handed that night. That's your problem, don't make it the customer's.

I only stayed one night but it was great! Chris was at the front desk and was very professional and accommodating. I actually called to the desk a couple times, for things that were NOT an issue with the hotel, just my personal preferences. Chris didn’t seem bother or inconvenience and I appreciate that. I also needed to call an Uber, and that went seamless. Parking is free, covered and you have to have a room card to access the parking. Once parked, you take an elevator in the parking area that will take you to the lobby. So very convenient in my opinion. Very nice hotel and I found it to be beautiful. Will definitely stay again.

A plain, serviceable hotel in close to proximity to Emory. The easiest and fastest way to visit the kids. Rooms are large, clean and modern. The bed is very comfortable. Make sure you avoid booking a room overlooking the entry which also has an exhaust for the restaurant, unless of course you prefer the smell of seared hamburgers in your room (some people might, no judgements).

Enjoyed my weekend stay at this hotel! The young lady at check in and check out was very professional and friendly. Everything about this hotel was immaculately clean and fresh. The room was bigger than I thought it would be. The bed was very comfortable with clean white linens. Very nice hygiene products in bathroom which included shampoo, conditioner, mouth wash, and 2 bars of super creamy soap. Lighting in the room was also great. Really nice big full length mirror, ironing board, coffeemaker, and mini fridge in room. Looked for microwave to warm up leftovers but there wasn’t one in room. Didn’t have chance to eat in the restaurant but I’m sure it must be as nice as everything else in this lovely hotel! I did have a hard time finding the hotel after I turned off the main road and had to ask two different people for directions into the property. Very woodsy and beautiful around hotel!

Nice facility, the only recommendations I have is when I first checked in the staff at the desk checked me in and gave me a room key and that’s it, she did not tell me the amenities, what time places opened and closed, nothing. I have checked into multiple hotels over the years being a traveling nurse and that caught me off guard to have to ask for that information. Also operating the shower should be more simple, the shower knob actually came off and I had to pop it back on. Also would me nice if the tv could be upgrades to offer streaming services and not just cable. Other than that, it was an average stay in a hotel.

What an excellent experience at this hotel! The room and other common areas were beyond nice, very well insulated, and the staff was friendly. The walk-in shower was so roomy and water pressure was great. There were plenty of outlets, both standard and USB/USB-C, which is nice for the technological necessities of the modern era. I even accidentally left my ring in my room before checking out, and a staff member checked to see if it was there. It was, and they offered to ship it back to me. I was still in town until the evening so I went back to pick it up before heading out, and had no problems doing so. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a 5-star experience.

Stayed here for 2 nights for a work event. The property is very nice. Lots of wood and metal tones. It has a feel of a modern lodge. Lots of large windows and natural light. The restaurants had very nice food. Stand out was the lunch buffet which was surprisingly good for a buffet. The rooms are nice with modern decor. My only challenge was the bed was hard and felt like the mattress was definitely pass it’s prime. Overall a very nice setting and experience. I’d go back and definitely recommend it as a place in ATL for groups to have meetings.

We went to attend a wedding. The hotel is a bit remote nothing nearby . Good for folks visiting Emory University or having a conference there. Rooms are nice but bar only opens at 4:00pm. Breakfast was not included and had a good spread but not the variety you would see in a 5 star hotel

Had Indian wedding event. Place has ample of parking. Servicing staff was very helpful and courteous. They were jumping on each and every other request the host had. Pleasant experience.

Great location. Clean rooms. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Shuttle service available for the Emory campus. The Club Room restaurant had delicious food & excellent service. The coffee shop had great coffee and great quick breakfast options. Definitely will stay here again.

First I'm going to say that if it wasn't for Michael Radcliffe this review would have been a one star. We booked through a third party and understandably, there are some limitations to what I can do with my reservation after it's made and before our actual stay. When realizing that we would need two beds instead of one, I contacted the hotel and they told me that they were not able to make the changes because it was booked through a third party, I get it and I was fine with this answer. I was informed that at the time of check in, I can ask then and it would be considered. The day of our stay, we called in the morning and we were essentially told the same thing but with the added note that they had plenty of two bed rooms so our request would likely get accepted. At check in, my partner was flat out told NO. Without even checking with someone first. When I arrived, my partner was visibly upset so I just asked to be checked in, and we were going to be on our way...again, I understand that we didn't book directly. But as we were walking away, Michael called us over and checked for us if they had any rooms. He was able to accommodate our last minute request. We were not asking for the impossible, we were just asking for a good customer service experience and that's what Michael provided. Showed that he cared. In any case, I would def recommend this hotel and would stay again in the future (probably booking directly though).

Empathetic with the staff, they were overall very helpful and kind and seemed stretched thin. Wanted to note that I'd recommend avoiding being placed on the 5th floor. The first room we were placed in had a mattress that was clearly torn apart on its sides and although we appreciate that we were moved to another room when we realized (sadly not until after we'd slept in the bed *yikes*) the other room on the same floor we were moved to had a shower that didn't drain and it took a few hours to have it looked at. We were there 2 nights for a wedding so we weren't in the room much, but when we were in the room(s) it wasn't what we hoped given that this is a 3 star hotel.

Beautiful hotel. Shuttle to hospital 2as much appreciated. Heard they're getting a total renovation in the very near future. May be closed for a while.

What an impressive, huge facility!! You almost need a map! Very comfy bed. Complementary bottles of water. Yes!! The staff was very pleasant. I saw a staff person walk past a door, heard his coworkers talking, then came back and held the door for the workers. Excellent teamwork. I saw that every day. My only issue was the buffet food service: the hot food was lukewarm and the cold food was barely chilly. But the evening hors d'oeuvres were outstanding!! Delish!! Close enough to walk to the CDC.

The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. The driver for the hotel shuttle Gary, made our stay that much better. Gary was super helpful telling us about the neighborhood and information about Emory University which was the main reason for our trip. The shuttle service is a great addition I just wish it was allowed a little bit more than a mile away from the hotel . My only suggestion is information about late check out be shared with the house keeping staff. We had a late check however, housekeeping knocked on our door a few times and explained that they weren't notified.

Stayed for a week conference. Pros: Location is away from the city in a nice secluded area. Very pretty and not far from the main parts of Atlanta. The staff at the desk and in the dining areas were friendly and helpful. The food was better than average in comparison to other hotel dining. The pool and fitness center were nice. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The conference center areas are fantastic, and great setup for large or small groups. The common areas are lovely and the coffee shop in there was great! The cons: No microwave in room. (It appears this venue is geared towards conferences, and longer stays, so this seems like something they should have). The shower had a strong rotten egg smells about 10 minutes into running, which makes me think there are some plumbing issues that should be addressed. The carpet on the opposite side of the bathroom got a little damp along the baseboards after showers. Not sure if it's backup, or just moisture from the hot shower, as there is no ventilation in the bathroom. Thw fridge had a horrendous smell. We had the staff clean at one point, but the smell came back. We stopped using it because it was tainting our food. The walls are paper thin. We can hear our neighbors TV all night. Coffer maker in room did not work, but they did replace it, so not a huge issue. 3/5 based on the issues that could be addressed and fixed. It would not be my first choice to stay, but I would not be opposed to coming back.

We were in town for family and did not utilize the facility to it's fullest extent. We ate breakfast everyday which was very good but one day it took over an hour to be served. The manager did comp our meal but she was very pleasant and apologetic. Nikki, you rocked it every other day. Thank you.

First off, when we arrived, Mary gave us the blandest greeting ever. She didn’t smile, barely looked up, mumbled when she talked, did not give good instructions or a map of some sort so we could figure out our way to our hotel room. We asked a special request for a balcony, she didn’t even mention it, look at it or offer it. When we asked her about the silver perks through Expedia, she immediately said no, didn’t look into it. Overall, Mary was absolutely rude. Once we got to the room, the room had no microwave and the refrigerator did not work. The view was horrible, just dead trees. The hotel is huge so make sure you ask about south deck versus north deck so you aren’t trekking a mile across the place. The ONLY good part about this stay was Antonio because somehow Mary gave us all keys the previous day for our floor that were deactivated the very next day so we weren’t able to get into our room. Poor Antonio was working the front desk all by himself while I watched Mary get all packed up and leaving him to fend for himself. He fixed the issue and had a wonderful attitude about the entire ordeal. Overall, would not stay again or recommend.

Stayed here for a professional conference at Emory. I thoroughly appreciated the stellar customer service from unfailingly gracious and helpful staff throughout the facility. My room was pristinely clean, with daily service. I enjoyed the hotel's lovely setting with ample outdoor and indoor seating for relaxing or networking. Enjoyed delicious food at the restaurant and the dining room. Transit time to and from the airport requires planning since it is several miles away and use of public transportation would require transfers. However, it is the perfect location for anything near Emory, as it is convenient walking distance, with complimentary shuttle service to campus or in 1 mile radius upon request.

Best hotel ever 👌customer service here is 100/100. So welcoming, so helpful, so nice, so generous. Even to my 2 year old boy they were sweet and didn’t look annoyed like most of the hotels. We enjoyed our stay in super clean hotel room. Had a chance to go to indoor pool, restaurant, gym. The sheets that this hotel has are amazing quality. Shampoo and conditioner smell amazing 🤩 everything here is 100 % great. Love it 😊 definitely recommend it.

Great safe place, only a few blocks from Emory Hospital. The staff is awesome! There are lots of places nearby to get takeout food since there was no dining inside during COVID. We brought our food back to the hotel and ate on the patio. There is a beautiful courtyard. Rooms are nice and spacious. I would rate this hotel 5 star on everything!

I booked a room here for my Mom while I was in Emory for surgery. I would highly recommend this hotel! It has a secluded feel even though you're in the middle of the city, with gorgeous landscaping and wonderful outdoor spaces. The rooms are spacious and the shared spaces are full of comfortable furniture so you don't feel trapped in your room. It's a short walk to the hospital, or they have a free shuttle with very accommodating hours. The parking garage is very secure. I chose the package which included breakfast and it was wonderful. The staff here is amazing. Always so friendly and helpful. They even made sure that my mom got the hospital rate when she needed to add an additional night at the last minute. I didn't get to spend much time here due to my hospital stay, but it was a wonderful place to get a good night's sleep before returning home and we will be back for my next surgery.

We were here for a conference. The hotel was very clean. Staff were friendly. Our room was also very clean and we had a comfortable bed. Our room had a view of woods with pretty walkways and paths. The food was great and the service was awesome. On a side note, they have a separate wing with a six lane bowling alley with a bar, tvs, comfortable seats, and pool tables that is available to rent out. (Also had live music). We enjoyed a fun evening after meetings. Nice hotel located in Atlanta with nearby shopping and restaurants.
