Tried a variety of dishes, all the dishes were delicious. Tofu and coconut soup was hearty. War Eagle sushi was finger licking good. Roti chanai was interesting. Chicken fried rice was tasty and filling, huge plate. The chicken larb was decent, little bit of seasoning would take it to next level. Finally the spicy tom yum noodle bowl was so rich and flavorful. Plenty of parking space, clean restroom, friendly servers, will definitely visit again to try out other dishes.

Amazing as always. Ive been coming here since they first opened. Their spicy beef noodle is better than surins 🤣 Staff works together to get your order out quickly. They always refill my drinks before i ask. Great staff and great business!

This place truly hits the spot. Went back for Girl's night and the service was great. The food was DELICIOUS. The portion size was ample and we had plenty leftover. Hands down the best Thai food in town. Highly recommended.

Met Ms. Bonnie again for lunch…. She always pics the best places! So, I was in a rush and ordered basic of the lunch selections… for me that’s the Hibachi Salmon 🍣 . It was served with the sesame soy sauce, some other really yummy sauce on the side, and fresh vegetables including mushrooms 🍄 carrots 🥕 zucchini onions 🧅 and broccoli 🥦 They were all fresh and chopped to bite size…. I really LOVE that part!! 😍 I chose fried rice (optional white rice), this is the very best basic side fried rice I’ve had since I’ve been here. For starters I chose ginger salad (optional coconut tofu soup) It was just some iceberg lettuce and shredded carrots with this creamy ginger dressing. So refreshing and light! I wanted more of this salad! That’s a BIG LUNCH! generous portions on the entree and less than $12. For salmon that’s great! Ms. Bonnie selected from the lunch menu and choose the duck, white rice, and the coconut tofu soup. Y’all gotta try that soup too! I’d never tried it before and it was really yummy… I’m going to get that next time and there will definitely be a next time! I’d never had duck from a Thai restaurant before but it was great! Like a dark meat chicken in this reddish orange sauce with a little tiny kick of spice to it. Fantastic! Deanra the waitress was very attentive, knowledgeable about the menu and friendly the entire time! Other servers helped to make sure we had plenty of water and bussed the table without interrupting our conversation. Idk about y’all but as a previous server myself, that’s a major pet peeve for me.

Cahaba River Road Sunday , November 7, 2021 Greeted by Friendly Staff Establishment Clean / Customers NOT Required to Wear Face Masks No Line but had a 5 minute wait at this time. There's outdoor seating but we chose to eat inside today. This is our first visit to this restaurant and we weren't disappointed. The establishment is on the small side as far as seating goes but definitely worth the wait. Arrived/Checked In: 1:30pm Seated: 1:35pm Placed Drink Order: 1:36pm Received Drinks: 1:37pm Placed Appetizer Order: 1:40pm Received Appetizer: 1:44pm Placed Entrée Order: 1:40pm Received Entrée Order: 1:50pm Our server, Wayan, was friendly, helpful & knowledgeable about food being offered. Our appetizer was (6) Pot Stickers with Panang Curry ($8.95). Delicate vegetables, crunchy onions, and pork dumplings served with a drizzle of a curry type sauce. Delicious. We also ordered (2) Bao Buns ($9). Delicious buns loaded with tender pork belly and marinated cucumber served with an Asian hot sauce. Will definitely be ordering it again. Husband ordered the the Masaman Chicken Curry extra hot ($10.50) and he was pleasantly surprised that it came extra hot - usually it's never spicy enough for him. Tender sliced chicken and crunchy carrots in a creamy Masaman sauce topped with cashews and sliced avocado with a side of rice. Yum. This Lunch Special also came with a small cup of Coconut Soup of tofu pieces, sliced mushrooms, and scallions in a rich coconut broth with just the slightest hint of spicy heat. I ordered the Masaman Chicken Curry ($10.50) also but mine was mild. Every bite was amazing. I highly recommend this dish. Food arrived hot & delicious and drinks kept filled. This restaurant is definitely going on our return to eat again list.

New find and we absolutely love it! We’ve tried a couple sushi spots in the area but this was our absolute favorite, I feel so strongly that I am still seated at the restaurant while writing this. It smells and appears clean, modern and sleek. The staff was so kind and welcoming since the moment we walked in. Our server, Yudha was sweet and attentive. The sushi was a great portion size, delicious and came out in a timely fashion. Our first time but surely not our last, bringing the whole family next time!

Brand new space and very well staffed. Huge bar and sushi bar. Dining area was very nice. Sushi shrimp super crunch roll was fantastic. Pad Thai was just ok. Huge menu but bring your check book. Very pricey.

Sat at the bar and got excellent service. Loved the JP margarita and found it reasonably priced. Tom Yum and Coconut soup were both a bit bland for my taste but the basil chicken was really good. Good environment on a Friday night. I could see it as a good place for a date.

Talk about shrinkflation! We placed an online order for Nom Tok Beef and Som Tum (Papaya Salad). Beef was $21 and salad was $10. See photo, would you pay these prices and get what are on the photo??? Yes, that's a big slice of cabbage. Salad was drench in dressing/sauce, minimal papaya. Never again! We've been to this place 2X before and it's mediocre. We tried to give it a chance and don't understand why it's busy? Don't place online order, it's the best way for restaurants to scam the customers. The different Asian cuisines (Japanese, Thai, and Indonesian) are tell tale signs of the quality and authenticity. Save your money and spend it elsewhere. Let me speak BHAM, would you dine at a BBQ joint if they also served burgers, hot dogs, and pizzas?

Get the coconut soup! So good!!! Also, the hibachi shrimp was excellent. Great wait staff too. I'll be back soon.

Driven past this place a million times and finally tried it with a girlfriend for a girls’ day lunch. Came highly recommended. We were shocked when we walked in the door at how nice the atmosphere and ambiance was. Great music playing. The service was super friendly. Very affordable menu prices and the food was amazing. We had the crab angels as an appetizer. I had the shrimp hibachi and my friend had the chicken hibachi. We each had the coconut soup. It was amazing. Can’t wait to return and try the sushi. Update:Went back today with my hubby to try the sushi… Not as good as Surin but also not as expensive as Surin. Still had a good flavor and we enjoyed it.

Good selection of food. Great sushi too. Little bit for everyone. Their house drinks are fantastic as well. Customer service 10/10. Lamb was my fav! Will be returning to try more!!

We’ve coming to this restaurant for years - I can even remember when we started coming here. Probably right around the time they opened. We absolutely love just about everything but their roll Sushi, Thai curry and their fried rice are to die for! And the owner and his staff are always friendly and courteous. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone who loves Sushi and Thai food! They recently had a renewal grand opening. Their restaurant is more than twice as big as before, and they hired a new Sushi chef - the photos are from their grand new opening buffet. The food was just fantastic! Once again, I highly recommend this restaurant!

The owners and staff were amazing. I had a small mishap that was my fault. (Forgot to ask if a sushi roll had a certain sauce on it that I don't like) and the owner/manager wouldn't let me not get another one on the house. The food was amazingly tasty my wide said her curry was the best she's ever had. Great staff and food definitely recommended!

We have been there so many times and never disappointed. Staffs are always helpful and friendly. The only place that I come for sashimi and sushi 🍣 😋. We appreciate yall !

HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Thai location. Their prices are reasonable based on the portions as well as the flavors you will get with each dish. My husband loves this spot and we e been her 3 times in 2 weeks. So I believe this will be our new Thai restaurant from here on out 😁

I can not thank the amazing owners and staff at Nori Thai and Sushi enough for accommodating our dinner party for a friends birthday. Every step of the way, they went above and beyond to create a first-class experience. I have been dining with Nori since 2021. They recently completed their renovations and the space looks better than ever. It is everything it once was and more. Seriously the best Thai Japanese fusion in Birmingham. Super convenient as well for people in nearby hotels at the Colonnade/Summit area.

This was absolutely delicious Thai food. I had the panang curry with tofu and it was thick and flavorful with just enough spice and my husband really enjoyed the chicken pad Thai. We ordered for pick up and the pick up was a bit odd due to what I assume are renovations of their dining area but it was quick and courteous. This food is so good! We also had the Holland Roll and it was very good too.

Service was excellent, our server made sure our table was well the entire meal. Their thai ice teas were mixed deliciously too. The fried rice is made differently than other thai places. I think it has more small veggies mixed in with the rice however it is not as flavorful as we expected it to be. Other items on the menu was good but the fried rice could be better.
