Just love these guys. I was apprehensive at first thinking they would be expensive, but found them to be comparable to a well known charity we had taken our dog to. At this previous place we were advised to do a multitude of tests, but after switching to Intown I found out many were unnecessary. They treated my beloved dog as if they owned him and even walked me through the very difficult season of his final days with grace and care. Dr Carlson and his staff are amazing. I couldn't recommend them higher!

They are the best. The best. Dr. Abby Huggins had to diagnose my beloved 6 year-old beagle with a very aggressive cancer, but she literally held my hand (and his) through the entire process of exploring various treatment options. She gave me honest assessments of the extremely low likelihood of success, but supported my decision to try anyway. Blue Pearl treated him for the cancer, but Dr. Huggins was always available, for him and for me. Losing him 3 years ago was devastating, but it would have been unbearable without her support and the amazing, kind-hearted, capable staff at Intown Animal Hospital. I couldn’t have survived it without them. They are not just great veterinarians - they are great humans.

Sadly, 4 years ago I gave IAH five stars (review below). But, boy have things changed. My favorite vet is no longer at IAH and there is no 'clear' reason why. The practice expanded and added a second location. This ultimately means higher prices no matter what they say. Finally, my dogs RX food, which I get via IAH, has increased to more than $122. I contacted Hills to see if they could decrease the price and they informed me that IAH sets the price. When I asked IAH, they simply responded they don't offer discounts. Yeah, it's time to move on. For 3 weeks my dogs regular vet was unable to help with a severe GI issue to the point she told me I needed to find a specialist. Intown was recommended by the owner of Highland Pet store. I took my Weim there on a Friday and by Sunday he was showing significant improvement - like night and day. Dr. Raskin was personable and knowledgeable, but more than that he took the time to explain things to me (my other vet never did). I'm beyond thrilled and we have found a new vet for Barney!

Intown Animal Hospital is an excellent facility with extremely capable doctors, technicians, and staff. They’ve always treated our four animals (two dogs and two cats) with excellent care and respect, and we’re so happy that we’ve found such a capable group to entrust with the health of our pets. We have been taking our cats here since we moved to the area, 4 yrs ago. When we moved, we had an elderly cat, who Intown (Dr. Raskin) look great care of. In the final stages before our cat passed away at 18.5 yrs old, Dr. Raskin answered so many questions by email and handled our cat's health with extreme care and compassion. When she passed away, we unexpectedly received a card from Intown, and they had made a donation to celebrate Jazzy's life. Talk about kind! Now a few years later we have two cats, both being cared for by Intown. One cat has some anxiety and they have been great with optimizing his care, and their prices are reasonable. The vet team is thoughtful and we appreciate that they handle our pets like their family. We wouldn't take our cats any where else!

Dr. Carlson & his team are the best. I've been coming here for years & I always know I'm getting the best care for my pups, Lucy & Iggy.

This has been my go-to vet for my two cats for five years now. All three doctors are super nice and thorough—happy to answer any questions at the appointment or over email but never alarmist. Their techs are also kind and super professional. The staff is friendly and happy to resolve issues over the phone if possible. I really appreciate how affordable their appointments are—and how they offer free exams for newly adopted pets. I’ve definitely recommended this vet to friends.

I would rate Intown 6 or 7 stars if the app allowed it. Best vet experience I've ever had. Dr Huggins is LITERALLY a life saver. They are caring, compassionate and professional. I'd recommend Intown and Dr Huggins to anyone looking for a professional, caring vet.

Love this practice!!! We came to this practice after being with another one down the road for more than 20 years. We came in the middle of the pandemic so very difficult on all of us. The staff at the front is so incredible, and I love how they treat us from front of the house to the back. I'm not sure if it is a "pandemic style" that they have adopted , but they have such easy access to answering questions online and via our phone call-ins. Also, for some reason my dogs always seem to develop hives or swallow an entire stuffed chicken breast with toothpicks included 10 minutes before Intown's closing time. They always get me in. This group truly cares about your animals. So happy we are your clients.

I started bringing my puppy here after being dissatisfied with Common Companion at Inman Park. So happy with my decision. My puppy (thankfully) didn't have any major medical issues, just puppy checkups and vaccines. Dr Carlson took his time to go over everything I need to know as a puppy owner, and answered all questions in great detail. The technicians are also very nice and accomodating. I was 15-20mins late to our vaccine appointment today because I hit my car and they didn't make any problem with it. Compared to Common Companion, they also don't force me to do useless fecal tests and whatever else everytime i'm there, like they do over at CC. Plus, the prices are much less than CC and you get more clear communication and professionalism.

I wish that I could rate Intown Animal Hospital higher than just 5 stars. All of the veterinarians there are so terrific and thorough. I have worked with Dr. Huggins, Dr. Carlson, and more recently, Dr. Raskin and all three have been incredibly knowledgable, kind, empathetic, and just overall amazing to my dog. The office staff and techs are all wonderful as well and are very responsive. My dog is not the easiest to handle and the team always makes her feel comfortable and are so patient with her. I highly, highly recommend!

This is one of the most reliable Animal Hospitals in Atlanta. They always manage to book me without a problem. The visits are seamless and 100x faster than a majority of visits I've had with other establishments. I've been using this office for a couple years now and never had any issues. Highly Recommend.

Switched from VCA a couple months ago and I’m glad I did. They’ve been great with my animals and I don’t feel like they’re trying sell me on ten extra services every time I come in. Their prices are reasonable and they treat what’s necessary. Vets take their time with you.

This office is outstanding! They keep in touch, and promptly provide updates after procedures. They are respectful of customers and their time, and very conscientious toward their furry patients. I can't be more pleased with the vet techs, assistants, and the vet. We had some tough questions that were met with understanding, expertise, and compassion, which is everything you want in a vet. The costs were also very reasonable. This is a great office.

My father was a veterinarian (retired) so I understand the expertise and care needed from a vet and Dr. Raskin has exceeded all expectations. Dr. Raskin is extremely professional, experienced and just as importantly caring. Over the past few years I have gone to Dr. Raskin for our veterinarian needs for our dog Joie and I couldn't imagine putting Joie in the care of anyone else. Dr. Raskin was able to diagnose any issues she was having, prescribe the appropriate treatments and was proactive in following up to make sure Joie was getting the care and results she needed.
