The Hotel was amazing, although the property and the rooms are a bit "Dated", it's also "Vintage" at the same time. The room was huge and the facilities great. We had the view of the swimming pool and there was every comfort you can ask for in the room. The breakfast was "Exceptional" and nothing compares to their great service. We were really pampered and the staff was really considerate. We sat at the terrace outside the restaurant with a lovely view of the swimming pool. Even though it was probably the hottest time of the year, the hotel had made good arrangements wit coolers to make it really comfortable. At the check in we were told that the room we had booked on Booking.com was not available anymore and we were offered an upgrade, at a "Discounted Price", but we still had to pay extra. This was a bit weird. Then I was taking photos of my wife in the lobby with my Camera and the security guy told us it's not "allowed" for security reasons. Now, I don't understand why taking a photo with a Camera is any less secure than a billion photos others were taking with their phones. This was a bit rude.

Delicious Food, Classy Ambiance & Best Service One restaurant which score full marks in all areas- food, ambiance and service. The joy starts the moment you enter. The ambiance is super elegant. You cannot go wrong as everything you order is presented nicely and very delectable. I have experienced one of the best service here. We ordered everything together but they really served each in right order with adequate pauses. Waiters were cordial and hospitable, though could have been more observant. The place lives up to the hype, went there after reading so many good reviews and was completely worth it. Kudos to the management, chef and staff.

We spent my birthday here and were there for a day for a staycation and the experience was amazing. The staff was nice and helpful. Room service was a bit slow but maybe because that was a busy day for the hotel with almost all rooms booked. Rooms ---We got an upgrade to the suite on special occasion and got complimentary cake and drink too which obviously added to the overall experience. Ambience --This surely is an aesthetic property. I have added a few glimpses. Food ---Their morning breakfast buffet was amazing. Loved the taste and the food options. Proximity --Many famous cafe restaurants are nearby if you want to explore.

I recently stayed at the Taj Palace in New Delhi and I have to say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The hotel is located in a great spot, right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore all that New Delhi has to offer. The rooms are spacious and elegant, with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. I particularly appreciated the comfortable bed and the large windows that let in plenty of natural light. The staff at the Taj Palace were also a highlight for me. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to make sure that my stay was as enjoyable as possible. The service was impeccable, and I never had to wait long for anything that I needed. The hotel also has some great facilities, such as a large pool and a well-equipped fitness center. I also enjoyed the food at the hotel's restaurants, which offered a wide variety of delicious options. Overall, I would highly recommend the Taj Palace to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in New Delhi. We had gone for dine in,food was good but serve quantity was quite less.

his is also the hotel which came up post common wealth games in 80s. The convention centre is also very famous here. On one of the busiest and VIP road it's rooms are good and has Taj standards of service. The details I write are for the Taj club rooms which are well done. Just the need to refurbish the chair and sofa as they have sunk. All else is good. All Services is slight delay. Must be due to the complete opening and shortage of trained staff

Taj is Taj. This hotel will actually give you the palace feel. This is so big and well designed. They are following all norms in corona time. Every single corner is so clean and sanetized. The main hall or should I say reception area is so beautiful. It's ambience is just wow. Rooms are also well designed. The bathroom is also a point to talk. All the products they are giving and every single thing is pretty good in quality. Let's talk about capital kitchen, where they serve the breakfast, is skillfully planned. They also have the garden area to sit, which have a pool view, fresh air. The breakfast was full of ranges and with live counters of many items. Overall I would say that they have concentrated on every single thing. They have fixed norms that they actually follow. One more thing I would like to appreciate about them is that we got stuck in curfew like situation in Delhi so we ask them for early check out and requested them for the refund. The staff was so polite they were aware with the situation and without any excuse they were ready to cope up. It was an amazing experience staying there. Thank you @Taj palace for making our stay memorable.

A great place. Although we had an Initial issue with check it was handled magnificently. The Breakfast and breakfast staff is excellent. The restaurants are simply the best The only down side compared to other Taj hotels the staff is comparatively less efficient. This is because of the workload. At least when I visited there was a wedding and the whole hotel staff was occupied catering to the needs of the wedding party.

My was amazing with great hospitality.The housekeeping staff was friendly . Room was as expected. Appreciate the service they delivered to me. Breakfast is served at the table to maintain social distancing and you can order any item from the menu. You can even have muffins and assorted cakes which are not in menu for breakfast. If you want something for the breakfast which is not in menu, just ask the staff if that can be arranged. Apart from that you get tea essentials with electric kettle in the room for free. Overall great stay...property is excellent with a huge lobby and reception area. Must stay ..would love to stay at this place again.

I had visited on 25 August 2023 evening around 9.30 pm. Worst food , I had ever had. Very much taste and quality compromised. Now Taj also in a league of road side DHABAs. Very bad experience. They had spoiled my daughter's birthday evening.

I have visited there for an official event. I gave my car to valet parking . When I received my car . The car KM was quite different almost 20km . The car display settings were changed and my sunroof was open . I can’t believe Taj like hotel I will face this issue .

I have come more than 10 times. But because of covid pool was closed but this time I went for swimming. The pool caretaker Maqsood behavior was not appropriate. He was so arrogant. He asked us to swim in such a manner that no noise is made out. He was behaving as if he was the owner and we were the care takers. M

The hotel looks much royal. The room was awesome. The service was good. A good place to Stay as couple(coz it was soo romantic("-"). If we visit once it will hunt you again and again to visit. Just loved it!!!

We spent our most memorable wedding anniversary at Taj. Excellent service. The staff definitely knows how to take care of their guests. They have a great eye for detail. They observe to understand what we want and always quick to help and to surprise. We dined at the Oriental Express and it was an excellent experience. They surprised us with anniversary cakes and a very special gift. We had a wonderful stay.

I was here for a night along with my business associates before embarking on a trip to historical monument Taj Mahal in Agra. Hotel is 25 mins away from Delhi airport. Swift check in. Lot of warmth displayed by the staff. Room was very nice and big. Plush seating in the room. Bed was very comfortable, linen and towels were fresh. Had a good night sleep. Banquet facilities were awesome along with the food. Breakfast was yummy. Very large spread of Veg and non Veg food. Hotel property is quite green and lots of green space with swimming pool. Weather 11 degree Celsius. Loved the place.

Best in class service especially for the rooms and food they offer. The hospitality is very good of the staff here. They make you feel at home. You will have a memorable experience for sure. It is very close to airport and probably best option in that area. They also provide early check-in and check-out if you request for.

This was the best hotel me and my husband have ever been. Location, food and rooms were amazing. But overall the best part was the service! Had a wonderful experience staying there, the staff were so helpful. Property is clean and room are also very clean. One can enjoy gym and spa, but have to book beforehand if you want to use spa. Swimming pool is big enough. Food over there are delicious, you'll get ample no food and no single item of food will repeat the next day.

The staff was extremely polite. Check in was pretty smooth after a 10 minute wait at the lobby. Food was great and there’re multiple options to try out. A variety of dishes available for breakfast. The view from the room was great. I was on the third floor. Only issue was that the room felt a little dated but the bed was comfortable and it was extremely quiet at night. Had an issue with hot water in the morning, but the staff quickly sent in support to get it fixed in 15 minutes. Checkout was very fast. I kept my bag in the lobby while I was out for some work after checkout and I could easily pick up my bag later. Great experience over all. Only feedback is small improvements to brighten up and make the room feel newer.

Went to attend a function. The ambience and food were wonderful. The staff is also very friendly and courteous.

Hotel was being used by the Australian cricket team which meant that certain entertainment areas were not available. Was disappointed overall as I had to switch my rooms and it took 2 hours to complete. I was told to wait in my old room and they would bring someone up to move my luggage. They didn't come so I went down to reception and lots of phone calls were made. Eventually someone took me up and he tried to sneakily hide the ash tray in the room, they had put me up in a smoking room which was extremely smokey, gave me bad asthma. Had to wait 15 minutes for a table at breakfast and the quality was bad compared to other 5 star hotels in India. Waited 30 minutes for a beer by the pool on my last day. Needs more management structure and staff training to be truly a decent hotel. Will stay at the ITC next time.

I attended a business seminar at Taj Palace recently and the experience with services were wonderful. The staff kept tab on smallest details like how to welcome and guide the guests. Signage at the welcome lobby is beautifully designed. Inside the convention hall, ample seats were arranged to accomodate guests. Tea / Coffee was served with snacks. The taste didn't match with the brand standards. But the presentation and service was beyond praise.

Situated in the heart of delhi near IGI airport/Dhula kuan. Great ambiance. During peak hours little difficult to approach due to heavy traffic.

Over crowded and under staffed. Breakfast services are horrible. I won't recommend it to anyone. There are other good options in Delhi.

Loved the experience and hospitality at the Taj Palace. All the covid precautions are being followed there and temperature checks were done at different points. Went their for our 2nd Anniversary and it was magical. Staff was very polite and decorated room with rose petals and balloons. Food was very delicious. Pool is operational there. Would definitely go back and stay there.

Great place but I forgot my slippers there and they didn’t give back they said we didn’t find it in the room. That’s sad I’m 100% sure I forgot my slippers in room. Slipper doesn’t cost much but if someone forgot anything they have to give them back.

Awesome stay!! I stayed in a Superior room with Bathtub with a Poolside view!! It was a very warm welcome and quick processing of Check in as I had booked my room online already... I made two special requests and both of them were adhered to... The staff was very friendly, forthcoming and helpful... From the check in to Check out it was a Five star stay!!

I was blown away by the variety of options in breakfast, the masala chai and stuffed croissant. I would definitely recommend these to everyone, you should try them out. What I dint appreciate is the over the top charges which the hotel charged, on ice bucket and plates. It could have been avoided by the hotel. Overall, a good stay at a beautiful property.

I visited Taj twice during pandemic time and was very happy with my stay both times. They have followed covid guidelines properly and made sure that guests are having a comfortable stay despite closing few facilities like restaurants and pools. Staff is very courteous. I was with my wife and when they got to know that we are newly married they arranged one surprise cake for us. That was a sweet gesture from their side. Loved it. Room had a great view of pool and lawns surrounding it. Rooms, food, service was as per Taj standard which is best in India I believe. Loved the stay and highly recommend to others.

The hospitality here is top class and so is the food. Only drawback I'd say is that for Superior Rooms, they done have charging ports near the bed and also no EU plug ports. Other than that it lives up to its name and hype

Overall experience was good, but here I want to say thing which I found not so good is Why you guys don't allow your Gym Trainer to do his own Workouts in the same gym where he is putting energy and Time. Even in a free time Trainer is not allowed to his own Workouts not. Even for 5 or 10 minutes. This kind of behaviour is not at all good with your Own Employee. Atleast fix a time for your Trainer so they won't feel a low-grade guy. Please make your own employees experience a little better.It's that that guy complained about this in front . This is Solely my own experience and opinion.

Highly unprofessional staff at reservation ,,sharmila devika…I asked her that I haven’t received mail of booking I made with you. I asked her many times despite her rigid behavior…I gave her another mail I’d also but still no mail received by any of my employees…after 2 hours of waiting I asked her to do something about it and talk to ur seniors or the management as I need booking details to book my flight,, she in reply told me u talk to your senior ( which was senseless totally) thn she said I cnt do anything about it..despite her unprofessional behavior I asked her to send on mobile she denied which I understand may be a protocol they have to follow…but it’s hotel system which is down and no one is receiving mails from the hotel it’s just not one mail id..she kept addressing while talking to me by my first name only without any formal title which was very rude and unprofessional like m making a booking in 2 star hotel .. even they address you with mam or sir..!I didn’t expect this from Taj ,, I wish to cancel my booking ‘ she even told me Neha booking ho gyi hai tumhari’ is this the way to talk

Had a lot of expectations before visiting and they were somewhat fulfilled. Rooms: Rooms are spacious and everything is at your disposal. Need not worry about anything basic missing from your room. Staff: Friendly staff and will make you feel you are their priority. Restaurant and food: The only area of complaint was lack of food choices in Capital Kitchen Restaurant. Menu is very limited especially for Vegetarians. Quality of the food was good though.

Decent though the approach path from airport has some road still under construction when you enter into Chanakyapuri from DhaulaKuan and at night it isn't very well lit. Amenities, Parking space, concierge services etc is good.

Truly a wah Taj experience. Travelled with family members earlier this month. Despite hotel was fully booked to due to wedding function, Check-in was really smooth. Rooms were exactly the same as described. Pool was temperature control and we had a great fun there. Now coming to best part, both men & women washrooms at Spa center had steam bath & jacuzzi bath. What a great relaxing experience it was. Special mention to the staff at pool area & spa. Only problem we faced was very long waiting time to get our car which was parked over night at hotel. Hotel should look to add more valet staff.

I have stayed in 4 Taj Properties earlier. Each one of them was quite good, but this one is simply the best by far. Besides phenomenal services, not only did I get a complementary upgrade from a deluxe to luxury room, Taj Concierge delivered my luggage at my residence, as I left it at their property due to some confusion. Keep up the great work, guys!

Very glad to see the hospitality industry coming to normalcy. For a change after a long time, we were not told "this is not available/working because of covid" Blue bar staff was elegant, it was a private party and they took good care.

It's a Taj alright but more suited for business travelers, conferences, events and parties. If you are in Delhi for a short leisure stay, i guess you'd be fine. The property in itself doesn't really offer a chill vibe.

Rooms are okay-ish, the staff at capital kitchen are extremely nice! But the staff at entrance are very strict about food (takeout). The hotel is definitely not suited for children. A two night trip is best, anything more than that might not be ideal.

No doubt this is a beautiful place but I regret having my dinner at Taj! The taste is below average, whatever we ordered was tasteless!! When you’re spending massive amount you anticipate good taste, but to my surprise nothing tasted pleasing! Great hospitality and good service but lacks the taste.

This is one of most beautiful and luxurious hotels I’ve ever been to. Staff was courteous and friendly. Rooms are luxurious with amazing views and exquisite ambience and atmosphere. The receptionist guy even upgraded my room and gave me a late checkout at no charge. A bit on the pricey end but totally worth it. The only thing that didn’t go well with me was their no outside food policy which forced us to either go out to eat or buy from their super expensive menu ( which is almost 3X what you’d get outside) I believe people should have the freedom of eating what they want rather than being restricted to your own food and restaurants. Other than that the service was great and i got a feeling from one of the front desk staff that they were getting annoyed by questions. I could be wrong. Overall it was a great experience and would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great stay in New Delhi.

Worst experience ever. The stay was nice and the food was also quite good. But some staffs were judgmental. I arrived at Taj through Auto so they refused to greet me as they were greeting other guests. Even at breakfast they refused to serve me dish but were serving others. I felt bad. Ps : if you look Rich then only they are going to treat you well. Never going to stay at Taj again.

Post check out got feedback link, provided honest feedback, got a call back from them, seemed they were calling just to complete the formality didn't sound as if they will improve. Taj is epitome of hospitality. All the staff right from concierge to bell boy to front desk are very cordial and helpful. Restaurants serve amazing food. Spa experience is out of the world. Worth the money spent.

I have good experience. Environment was pretty clean all corona protocols were followed. Food was great and staff was pretty attentive. Only issue that i have faced was the food access from basement function. Also once you our for food, washroom access was pretty far! Rest all is good. I have seen people planning all parties and functions with their closed ones. Taxi services are good. Valet parking is also available.

I am extremely grateful to have had the fortune to stay at Taj Palace. I am awestruck by the eagerness to help, courtesy, generosity and kindness of each one of the members of the stuff: from the reception stuff to the room service, to the dining hall stuff and the cleaning stuff, including the attentive and caring chefs. I am a vegan and experienced the unusual care of the waiters, room service stuff and chefs in providing me with options to eat and overdelivering with kindness and concern for my satisfaction even when I expressed complaint for the quality of one dish. It has definitely been the best hospitality experience in a hotel I have experienced so far in my life, in terms of elegance and excellence in conditions and kindness in service (so scarce in a world turning more towards mediocrity and indifference). I highly recommend the Taj Palace :)

We Went there for Dinner At Capital Kitchen. Food was super delicious, Service, Hospitality cleanliness all was very good. Shekhar served us and he was polite n helpful. I Have Also stated here before pandemic, that was also an Amazing experience. Overall worth spending your Time and Money.

Has nice lawns. Has a nice pool area to lounge (unlike its ITC neighbour). The lobby used to be really grand before they decided to partition it into a serving zone. I think they killed the aesthetics of the place by doing that. Staff and service are very good. They measure up to the Taj standards. Spicy Duck is very expensive but the food makes it worth it (tho they can do a better job of the desserts)

Superb thing about Taj is they allows pet along with you😋✅. I love staying in Taj and this property is beautiful. In-room service was also good, staff is courteous. Would be good of they dont charge for a pet stay this much.. quite pricey.

The services were rapid and hassle free to avail. Staff was extremely helpful and polite. We had to extend our stay by a day and it was accomodated in the blink of an eye. The breakfast was healthy and they made every effort to make it enjoyable for the residents. It is located in a beautiful, green location. The evening high tea was equally enjoyable during our three days of stay.

Its their warmth and extended care. Nilima at the front desk was making my stay feel home kudos to her. She extended her hands in helping me from day 1 check in till check out. I stayed there for 3 days it was a vacation trip of our family. Room service people can be a bit more polite. The breakfast buffet the dishes were good, but it was very crowded. Somehow they managed to their best. Overall the stay was good. And i have not received the feedback form from taj since i am a member and i wonder why ?

Lovely property but rooms and corridors are beginning to look a bit dated. Staff was friendly and polite - Taj has a great personal friendly touch which was very much on display. Loved the little touches like complimentary wine bottle. A small face-lift would make it a marvelous place to stay.

Beautiful located this property offers a variety of experience. We stayed there for my birthday celebration and we were well treated. Courteous staff. Good rooms. Spa and pool were the highlight for me. Good food. It felt a bit crowded as there was wedding going on. Otherwise a stay to remember.

One of the finest place to stay in Delhi. Located in posh area and in close proximity of 3 metro stations. Room size is good, breakfast spread is nice (couldn't understand how they missed sausages though). With 6 in-house restaurants, hotel's amenities and services are top notch. With seamless check-in and checkout process, had a pleasant stay..definitely worth the money!

I had visited here here for a convention.. The location is amazing.. the views and each and every part of the hotel is breathtaking.. The vintage looks..wow... The best experience I had here is.. I had worn a particular outfit for the first time and when I got to the washroom I knew something was wrong.. But the cleaning staff was so so courteous and so nice to me... She understood and helped me immediately.. within 5 mins I was ready to go and smiling confidently ❣️..

A great place. Although we had an Initial issue with check it was handled magnificently. The Breakfast and breakfast staff is excellent. The restaurants are simply the best The only down side compared to other Taj hotels the staff is comparatively less efficient. This is because of the workload. At least when I visited there was a wedding and the whole hotel staff was occupied catering to the needs of the wedding party.

The ambience is too beautiful and exotic. Fragrance diffusers are always on and make the experience of passing through lobby and corridor area really splendid. Rooms had Forest Essential toiletries which is luxury at its best. The view from the room was of pool side area and lots of greenery, so very soothing. All switches and controls in the room were motorised press buttons style so very convenient. They gave a complimentary meal and a toy for the baby! Room could have been little more spacious but then we aren't complaining!!

It was an excellent stay. Located in the heart of the city, but very quiet and peaceful. It was quiet and amazing. Great food choice, bakery is perfect. It was an amazing dinner experience there. There was a long list of lip smacking cuisines both asian continental and Indian. The menu for all 7 days is different for both veg and non veg . Though it is quite expensive but will make you feel luxurious...

Nice luxurious place .It was made excellent by the very good Mr. Zubair and his staff. He made our arrival from our 15hr flight very smooth and made us at ease. He made sure that our stay was comfortable and relaxing. He was very gracious to show us how to navigate the city like places to go to buy souvenirs and special landmarks to go see. The hotel has strict security making it a safe place to stay. Its very clean and smells heavenly with whatever air freshener they are using. The breakfast buffet was superb and delicious. My was amazing with great hospitality.The housekeeping staff was friendly . Room was as expected. Appreciate the service they delivered to me. Breakfast is served at the table to maintain social distancing and you can order any item from the menu. You can even have muffins and assorted cakes which are not in menu for breakfast. If you want something for the breakfast which is not in menu, just ask the staff if that can be arranged. Apart from that you get tea essentials with electric kettle in the room for free. Overall great stay...property is excellent with a huge lobby and reception area. Must stay ..would love to stay at this place again.

A true sample of excellent hospitality. Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed during my time in Delhi! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and general manager, our names were mentioned on the board. The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant was very flexible (appreciate this!) and the restaurant supervisor deserves a special thanks. We had two great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience. Great example good honest Indian food. The food was great, freshly cooked very tasty and well presented. The waiters were attentive and service overall was good. Overall a good meal and great value we will certainly be going back.
