I have never been so surprised by a restaurant. This place is totally quiet and unassuming but the food and service here were better than meals I paid 3x for in downtown. Our omelet was exceptionally fresh, a great portion, and piping hot. The potato salad served with it was amazingly creamy. The coffee was dark and robust - the owner roasts and brews Ethiopian coffee in front of you for goodness sake! The owner runs the front and back of the cafe and her care and attention to her customers is absolutely exceptional. We will make it a point to come back. Great spot here!

After eating there for 4 years, I think she is on a mission to get people to love eating tasty and healthy food. My favorite dishes are veggie plate, chicken salad sandwich, omelette, and the green smoothie.

Had the Philly cheesesteak as it comes with a side of their homemade potato salad and… wow. Incredible. Food quality was fresh and the flavors are amazing. Give this place a try. Spent $12 on a fulfilling lunch.

If you have not tried Elena's cooking than you are truly missing out! I have been eating her food for almost 20 years and not only is she amazing at cooking but she is the nicest person and very kind. I feel like she truly puts love in her food and that's why it tastes so amazing! I've tried other Ethiopian restaurants and they're pretty good but she tops them all. You have to stop there for lunch some time, you cannot beat the value for the quality! If she charged $50 for lunch, I would still pay for it! It is that good.

Found this hidden gem by accident. Nice and cozy atmosphere. They cook everything fresh and it is well worth the wait! The owner is very attentive to every customer and that made the experience even more enjoyable. Had the omelette with potatoe salad. Perfect combination AND she brought me a sample of her homemade hot salsa!! Love it! Love it here. Def 2 thumbs up!

This was honestly the best chicken caesar wrap I have ever had. The food is so flavorful. The service is next level. The owner is so kind and lovely. If I lived in Atlanta I would probably eat here all of the time. I will be dreaming about this wrap.

This is truly a diamond in the rough. The food here is amazing. They serve delicious sandwiches and authentic Ethiopian food. Great place for breakfast and lunch. It is located underneath a random building on spring street right behind Naan. I pick up food for dinner twice a week from here. :-)

Yep, she knows how to cook egg. More importantly, it feels like home, old-school cafe. It just reminds you of the time when you have a cafe in the neighborhood and everyone goes there, like in tv shows

I would recommend this place to anyone looking for solid, great food in Atlanta. I went two mornings in a row it was so good! The customer service was fantastic, and it really feels like eating a home-cooked meal. Could not recommend it enough!
