This is a quaint little lake in Twain Harte that is great for families. It is private so you do have to have a membership to enter. They do close after Labor day and reopen before Memorial Day. Things are different now because of Covid-19. Reservations are recommended and the food shack is only take out. Check with lake before coming.

This is a wonderful hidden gem, perfect for a summer get-a-way. The lake is private so you must rent a cabin with "lake privileges". It's especially great for families with young children. It has a long sandy beach perfect for making sand castles. There are shallow roped off areas for wading plus 2 slides a bit further out dropping off directly into the lake. Teens enjoy crossing the dam walkway to the Rock where they can sunbathe or make use off the two diving boards. There is also a snack shack with basic lunch items and swirl ice cream and shaved ice. Heaven on earth!

Going early enough to find some shade. Food offered is good but a little pricey. No pop-up shade tents allowed.

All 3 generations enjoyed the sunshine, the shaded areas, the rental bikes, the kind lifeguards & the front office managers. The lake was so clean & refreshing. Everyone loves to come to Twain Harte Lake.
