Maybe we should have stuck with the deli sandwiches like we originally went there for but we got excited when we saw they had Italian beefs and went with that instead. The worst beef I have ever had, the meat was thin and tender but there was no flavor at all. Very disappointed seeing we paid $20 for 2 sandwiches that we couldn't even force ourselves to eat.

I did not take a photo of my sandwich because it was so darn good. Highly recommend anyone to stop by before hitting the Big Sur or after. Reasonable prices and friendly staff.

The sandwiches are freaking delicious! They are a throwback to how deli sandwiches usta be baby! Do yourself a favor and get double meat (my favorite roast beef and salami) or Da Ruben!!

Fresh deli made to order sandwiches are super tasty and satisfying. Big is the word to describe portions. The place is consistent. Been going for sandwiches there for over 20 years and always satisfied, a monterey landmark.

I had heard a lot about this place for years, and I never got around to go in there. At first glance it’s a very nice and clean deli. Kudos to the employees that are maintaining the kitchen. The shelves in the store are sparsely loaded with merchandise. However, they do have a few unique items. The prices are higher than average I purchased a Reuben sandwich and my surprise it did not come with thousand island. The cheese was not Swiss. It was provolone and it has pickles and peppers. Very unusual for a Reuben. The meat is not stacked as it typically should be. I also got a mortadella cold sandwich Perhaps my expectations were too high.

Be careful buying from here they love double charging maybe instead of double charging on peoples card you guys should just raise the prices on the sandwiches. Apparently the guy with the long hair in the cash register the young white guy must be pocketing money not the first time this happens

When I use to work for AMR(American Medical Response) this was one of my favorite spots to pick up a sandwich. Always fresh bread, plenty of meat and fresh veggies. I went by today to pick up sandwiches for a road trip down Hwy 1, Big Sur. Got a sandwich for me and both my boys and they loved their sandwich, as much as I did.

Large portions, good tasting, great value. Parking can be had on side streets, lines move fast.

Amazing local corner store sandwiches. One of my 3 go to spots in Monterey if I want an amazing and filling sandwich. They have daily specials, Friday being my favorite since it's fresh calamari straight from the bay.

This is my favorite sandwich place. Bread is always fresh and delicious and I love the extras you can buy (chips and drinks, coffee or chocolate). Bennie at the checkout counter is always friendly and welcoming. The crew making the sandwiches is excellent and make them just the way you order them. I have been going there for decades and they have never disappointed. They will spoil you for any other sandwich place for sure. Thanks Bi-Rite!

Go here for the deli sub sandwiches! Approx. 5 outdoor tables. Lots of chip options to snack on with your sando of choice.

Great place for sandwiches! Very friendly! Favorite sandwich is the hot pastrami withe jalapeno spread. Yum! The Teriyaki, Tri tip and Turkey Avocado sandwiches are tasty too!
