Went there on a departmental retreat and the food, staff and accommodations were great. The view of the campus and the Presidio is breathtaking.

The old Presidio Officer's Club has been refurbished into a nice museum, educational center, and restaurant. This year, they have a nice exhibit about the internment of Japanese-American citizens during World War 2, when the Presidio was a US Army base. Free admission. There is a fee for car parking, but there is also a free shuttle bus from BART to the Presidio and you can easily walk here from the Marina district.

A great place for locals and visitors to enjoy learning more about our culture and military history. Many places (free) to sit and enjoy the pleasant ambiance of this, one of the oldest buildings in San Francisco. Much inside this building is pleasant and enjoyable. A nice restaurant.

Very respectful exhibit on interred Japanese Americans during WW2. Note the names etched onto the windows of the interior corridor as they can appear as just a design feature if you're just looking ahead. Beautiful and thoughtful presentation throughout.

San Francisco's presidio is a fabulous area in general but some of the landmarks are exquisite. Old cannon, old buildings etc. VERY cool.

Open to public and free public schedule tours with reservations check the website. Though there's exhibits with pictures that explains about the place. One big lounge area with fireplace to sit and enjoy the ambience of the place. There's a restaurant to provide sustenance and can be use as a reception area for weddings held at the Presidio chapel.

A little gem in the Presidio. Well laid out, great ambience, an emotive exhibition on the Japanese internment in WW2, and a tasty Mexican bistro. The staff (volunteers?) are super enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. Thanks Georgia-anne and Tom!

Excellent little museum for anyone interested in SF history. Friendly and knowledgeable docents made our visit even better. Saturdays only.

Pre-Covid, I stumbled upon this museum while looking for Andy Warhole's 1 of 4 exhibits in Presidio. This small museum is very well curated and tells a very nice story of San Francisco, Presidio and the bay area. It takes around 2 hours to see the place in detail and learn everything you need to know about this beautiful bay area we live in. This helps understand many places that you see around and appreciate them a little more☺️. Now it is not open to public, I wish they can reopen it for the public again so that I can take my friends visiting!

This is a well placed superior venue for countryside style dining. As visitors, we attended the venue with our very discerning friends who are excellent at choosing superior dining experiences. The ambiance was great, the food delicious , well prepared and served with delight.Just so enjoyable! We will want to return to this place next time on our visit to San Francisco.

The museum was closed during our visit but I was able to have a quick peek inside the place since it shared the same amenities with Colibri restaurant where we had our lunch. It would be worth a visit in the future.

For a place that is in a beautiful area and has such great scenery, I expected the prices to be outrageous. We were pleasantly surprised! The salads and tacos were delicious. We highly recommend the flan too! If weather permits, hanging out by the grass area and going for a walk is one of the best things you can do after a big lunch!
