Awesome scenery drive there and back. Some times you can see the sun going down on the side of the mountains and at the same time the moon is appearing on the side of the Bay. Which you have a high view of it from there. Is always windy but warm. There is places to hike. A nice parking space to leave your vehicle. We saw some people flying gliders too. The only down is that people like to drive very fast on that road. It can be crowded some times specially in summer. It is best to move at of the way and let them pass.

This is a great low effort high reward hike that is dog friendly. I would recommend the parking then hiking the anniversary trail and coming back via the lost trail along the road! Check out more travel ideas on @its.a.gamble on instagram.

It's a nice short walk to the top of Windy Hill, but there is no bike parking here so I had to get creative with how to lock up my bike

Beautiful place, lovely views of the bay and the Pacific Ocean on a clear day. Can view sunrise as well as sunset from the spot.

Best time to do the sunrise hike and enjoy the sunrise view over the clouds from windy hill summit. Limited parking space.

It’s a great place to see the stars! Very clear sky and no light. Your phone could have no signals though! Just be aware
