Nice beach with shaded trees in the parking lot and picnic area. The beach requires a good climb on the sand dune but is vast and good for leisurely walks. Found lot of sea weeds /algae on the beach, so didn’t venture into the water. Parking is $10. Has restrooms.

It is an awesome beach 🏖️to bring your family and friends. We enjoyed our time here. The beach entrance is a bit steep so be prepared to hike on the sandy slope. They have basic amenities like restrooms and water supplies onsite. Their parking lot is of decent size and it was too hard to find a spot to park. The beach has a lifeguard on duty as well. Overall my experience was great and I would like to come again here.

I love that this beach isn't packed like Santa Cruz, Capitola and the rest of the beaches a little north of this beach. It's clean and it has a long stretch of beach ideal for running. This is my favorite beach so far.

Long sandy beach with beautiful ocean views. And you can park for free on the street too.

The lower parking lot at Seacliff state beach was full so we came here. Thank God we got a table and a BBQ pit for our beach cookout or else we would have been screwed. Great little place to enjoy the California beach!

I love this beach. Was pretty clean and not too busy. Found lots of seashells and sand dollars. Getting up the hill to get in and out is hard as heck but worth it

Great expanse of dunes and soft sandy beaches. Off the beaten track & pleasantly almost empty on a weekday in August. Be sure to have some cash to leave in the receptacle for the parking pay-and-display system.

I've had the chance to do some photo work here and the surrounding areas, it's quite nice. Often you will get fog near sunset though, so just be aware of that if you're a sunset lover or love that golden hour photos.

Lovely beach just outside Watsonville. Ample parking. Must climb over the dunes to get to the beach.

Oh my. What a gem. Don't let the incline scare you. There's trails all over that lead easily to the other side to the water. To the right, near the houses, is a gravel path that's really easy. The picnic area is huge and the wind gets blocked by trees and hills. It really is a fantastic spot to explore. Trails go into trees! Shower and bathrooms were nice. The only downfalls were no park officers on duty and people leave so much trash.

Either pay for parking or park on the side. The hill up to the beach is pretty steep, so take your time. Great beach for the kids, the surf break is pretty mild.

Really clean and open beach with a lot of room to spread out. Not as crowded as a lot of other beaches and the perfect place to bring your dog to play in the water and sand. Parking was easy enough to find without much hassle. Some dogs are off leash but all the ones I saw were well behaved.
