This is one of the most beautiful trails in the park. My daughters Jazzy n Belle had an awesome time at Columbia Rock and on the overlook by the waterfall. It's a difficult hike but it's all worth it! To experience nature in our beautiful California...

We only had a short time to see the waterfall, but we were totally awed by the wonder of nature. It's powerful and beautiful beyond words. It can be really wet when you go closer to the fall, but heaps of photo opportunities out there.

This hike is fairly difficult with the elevation gain but the views are definitely worth it! Definitely recommend starting early cause the parking lots will definitely fill up even with the reservation system in place. Bring plenty of water and take some lunch to enjoy on the top of the falls overlook. Great trail for the solo traveler/photographer!

Absolutely beautiful! The lower Yosemite falls trail is a relatively easy and quick 30 minute walk to the waterfall and the view is stunning. The shuttle bus stops here, so there’s no excuse not to see! We came in late May when the park just opened up for the season so there was not too much traffic.

It is the biggest reason that attraction in the Yosemite National Park! Millions people visit this falls a year. Specifically for the year of 2023 due to the record high rainfall last winter! There are many waterfalls that you can visit! The Lower Yosemite falls are the most easy one and visited the most! Vernal falls are bit challenging, you needed to get prepared for! Nevada falls are further down the Mist trail which is really worth the walk and climb! We enjoyed all our visits to Yosemite no matter what season or the volume or conditions of the waterfall! It’s just so beautiful and breathtaking! Just can’t wait to go again!

This is one of the most beautiful places I have visited. Definitely take a walk in the valley - it is just gorgeous. I drove to the El Capitan meadow - I recommend doing it - you can take a perfect picture of the mountain. I also suggest taking one of the trails up. I went up the Waterfall trail, to El Capitan, and Eagle Peak. El Captain summit is a nice flat surface, where you can rest under one of the trees that ffer shadow from the sun. The view from Eagle Peak is definitely better. In June there is still snow on far away mountains. I talked to one of the guides, which confirmed this was a good choice if you had just a day there. Take a minute in the park welcoming center in the village and buy yourself a souvenir. It's totally worth it to drive 4 hours from San Francisco. Even though I only had a day and a half there.

We hiked the Lower Yosemite Falls trail and the Upper Yosemite Falls trail in January 2024. The Lower Falls was an easy 30 minute hike. The Upper Falls took hours and was a steep uphill climb the whole way there but well worth the views!

It's not easy hiking to the top of the waterfall (upper falls). Very challenging... Especially when we are out of shape. Me and my girlfriend would constantly take breaks. Hills were really steep, and some climbing as well. As soon as we reached to the top, it was worth it! I immediately jumped in the river to refresh myself. The river was nice and cold and the view from the top was beautiful. Going down was the easiest part. If a chubby guy like me can do it, so can you. Just take your time and don't rush it.

Whole-heartedly beautiful and undeniably stunning. This waterfall will leave your jaw on the floor. The refreshing sensation of light water droplets brushing across your face will leave you feeling energised. The views are completely to die for. Highly recommend seeing this place before you die.

Yosemite Falls is the highest Waterfall in North America, and the fifth tallest in the world, cascading 2425 feet to the ground. It looks like an ethereal ribbon of white water, but it actually falls in three stages – Upper, Middle and Lower Falls. Just imagine -- It is a dozen times higher than the Niagara, and twice the height of the Empire State Building. If you are in the vicinity of the Lower Falls, there is a point from where you can see all the three stages of the waterfall. We took the Shuttle to the Yosemite Falls Stop. After a short walk, the path bifurcates, and you can select the strenuous hike to the Upper Falls. Given the time we had on our hands, we chose the path to the right, and then hiked only to the Lower Falls. Absolutely beautiful…!

It's a great place to hike, take photos, and just soak in the natural wonders of the world. Don't miss out on this incredible experience!

The views from the valley are insane. The waterfall was running when we arrived and the views were amazing πŸ‘. Definitely consider checking this place out if you ever take a vacation to Yosemite. Trust me, it's so worth it πŸ‘Œ.

Fantastic get away from city life. The falls and the park has so much to offer. A walk through the giant sequois makes a man feel so small compared to the trees. It's a wonderful trip to spend some time with nature.

Yosemite National Park is an AWESOME place to visit when in California. Approximately only 7.5 hours from San Diego and appx. 2 hours from San Francisco. My 1st time visiting with my 12 year old son; thanks to my best friend Steve and his sons. Have Great water proof hiking boots if you take the Vernal Falls / Mist Trails hike. There was a deluge of water from the falls this year (2023). The steps down from Vernal Falls Mist Trail was completely covered in water. It paid off investing in quality H2O proof boots for our 7+ mile hike! Best times to visit are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. It is crowded on most other days beginning at 8 a.m. at the Ranger Station entrance. It is a MUST SEE on your list of places to visit while in CaliforniaπŸ™

Amazing .. I would suggest you arrive early . We left Fresno Hwy 41 @ 630 , arrived @ main gate 7:30 , $35 entry fee , Another 30 min before you get to Tunnel view and valley . Beautiful gushing waterfalls , wasn’t crowded this early. Checked out curry village , awahnee hotel & village market. Lots of turn outs to pull over and sight see . We left around noon and the traffic going in was backed up to fish camp from the main gate . Hence arrive early .. amazing views , can’t wait to go back and use a different route to see all the beauty ..

Yosemite Falls is one of the most gorgeous falls in the United States. I have to see it far away, and I have to get close to it and get wet. I come here many times with friends and family. Everyone is enjoyed this beautiful place. It is always so many people except when you're here before 10 o'clock in the morning.

It's a VERY strenuous hike, switchbacks on rocky paths almost almost the way up. Going up is strenuous but very doable, and the view is wonderful. Can be cold at the top and warm at the bottom, bring layers. Have a picnic st the top. Don't forget to go down from the top to the actual falls for the best view. Going down is more difficult. Hiking poles are highly recommended, and knee braces if you are at all so inclined. Can be very slippery if it is wet.

I love everything about Yosemite park , this fall is very near from Yosemite valley lodge 10 minutes walk, it’s stunning easy trail around 15 minutes walk. Not easy to find parking around it if you are not staying in the lodge.

Great hike with an amazing view. Don't underestimate the last 45 minute stretch as it is steep and barely shaded. But pulling through is worth it.

It's cool to see from a distance, and the road that can be walked to the front of the waterfall through the trail course is an easy course that anyone can walk on, and it was really spectacular that the water splashed over the bridge as the waterfall fell. It's a place you must visit and you can take your dog with you, so please go and have a good time. Strongly recommend this place

The trail is short, but the ascent is significant. Give yourself 5 to 6 hours to go all the way up and come back down. The views of the valley from the top are breathtaking!

This place is absolutely breathtaking! We finally checked off another bucket list item. The walk to the lower falls was easy and the views were spectacular. Definitely worth the drive to see Yosemite! Hopefully, we can return to visit again and stay longer.

Brave yourself for the climb with camping gear for two nights and you will be rewarded. In late June the pools are calm and safe if you go 200 yards up creek. Just amazing views for the entire trip.

Went for my birthday on the last week of April and first week of May, there was barely any people and me and my family saw the full raging water falls and breath taking views. It’s definitely a place you have to visit in your life time, it was easily one of the most beautiful places I’ve seen.
