Third terrible experience I’ve had in the ER at Santa Clara Valley Medical! It’s consistently filthy, triage nurses are short and rude and lack empathy’, it’s an epicenter for crackheads, and transients. That’s just the truth! Last night 09/14 the triage nurse nonchalantly told me that “this just happens and it’s kind of known for that”, when I complained about a male who clearly was under the influence of a drug of some sort and harassing people. I had to ask for security assistance 3 times before anyone took it seriously. I arrived at ER at 9pm and still had not seen a doctor at 5:30am 09/15. I checked in twice to inquire about an ETA to see the doctor and was directed to have my vitals retaken so that “they would know I’m still here”. I gave up and went home despite the discomfort I had felt in my chest/ which is usually a high priority at ALL hospitals! I actually felt better leaving, as the chaos of filth of the ER was draining and left me feeling yucky. I went back today 09/15 at 3pm, and saw a lady who had been there the same timeframe I previously was just leaving. Had I stayed, my total time there would have been from 9pm 09/14 - 3pm 09/15 which in my opinion is unacceptable given the reason I went. The staff doesn’t care and it’s obvious they are there for a check only, including security. There were a handful of staff that showed empathy and appeared to love what they do, however the overall experience each time is trash! The lack of awareness, empathy, cleanliness, and professionalism is beyond ridiculous! This place is a dump and caters to criminals, crackheads, and transients! Good luck if this is your only option! Their ER should be fined and OSHA definitely should get involved. So much contamination spread in the Livy due to their failure to clean properly. Sad terrible shameful! Never ever returning I don’t care if it’s the closet ER in range! I will drive further for cleanliness, and professionals that care!

Even it is public facility but really nice people and the doctors are good 😊 you can trust and high Quality service. Nurses are sometimes rude but the most important are doctors. The facility is kind of old but efficient/ you can find a pharmacy inside and the line is fast. Pharmacists are sometimes hard to deal with - the language is hard to understand but it is a good diversity - I highly recommend this clinic and GO PUBLIC SANTA CLARA VALLEY MEDICAL 🏥

Went to the emergency room for Covid, if you need help don’t worry they’ll probably help you in 5-6 hours. Sat in the Lobby for 2 hours before someone was able to help me. After getting into the room the Nurse told me i’ll be helped shortly, it’s been over 2 hours since I’ve seen someone and I hadn’t had water or single bite to eat. Ive been stuck in a room what feels like more than 2 hours. I can hear other patients getting help in the rooms next to me, after using the help phone they hit me with the “oh they know you’re in there” and hangs up. Nice to know they starve sick patients without a care. I would have never came to this hospital if I knew it was this bad.

Worst experience of my life. Day one Urgent Care, 5 hours of waiting.. they never even got my labs, but said they thought I was ok and discharged me. Day two, in the emergency room now, and nurses were literally making fun of the way a crippled patient walked! Then, when I pulled out my phone at one point (not for taking pictures) the doctor walked up and demanded to see my phone and where was the picture... what picture?? This is the same doctor that said I would get some food soon (I had been throwing up all my food and needed nutrition) and it never came from 5pm when I got there until 6pm the next day I finally got a meal. I would never go back here if somebody paid me. I went to the Indian Health Clinic and they were very prompt and professional.

Came in today after bring referred by my fathers GO for am irregular ECG and have been waiting for 12 HOURS, I kid you not my 82 year old father is waiting for 12 hours sitting in the waiting room. How is this acceptable or any standard of medical service? We are leaving because he is literally getting sick from waiting. They told us we are the longest waiting patient and still here are at midnight.

We are too disappointed with the service of SANTA valley Medical center. After 2 weeks, I am still struggling to set an uappointment for ultrasound biopsy at Radiology department. First, they claimed that the doctor, who also from this center, gave them the incorrect order and made us wait. I tried to contact them later, they said they did not have any information of my case. I have called them so many times, but it seemed no one was on duty. No one picked up the phone though I was patiently waiting in 30 minutes; at last, no one answered. I have to call back to the doctor office, and the only instruction was: I have to call the number of Radiology and wait until someone answered me. I have an advice for all patients: it will be too late when you successfully contact them. Unprofessional!!! I am angry and I swear to stop using the service from this center. I don't think I pay the bill and the insurance to suffer this awful service!

Waited 5 hours here in express care. As soon as I walked in I was asked to urinate in a cup, then was sent to radiology, I was told after radiology to come back and check in again with them. Which I did. I was NOT seen by a doctor. I ended up informing the front desk I was just going to leave. They told me they would make a note of that and not all of the rooms were filled but there were 4 more people ahead of me that had been waiting there longer then I had.

If we could give 0 stars we would. They don’t care about the patients, please save yourself & go elsewhere. My younger sister went to express care with severe abdominal pain, the receptionist(?)who took her information, input whatever info she felt like it, &marked my sister for substance abuse& as homeless! (When asked questions for screening we said no substance abuse &provided ID with her home address &They took her blood& Urine sample after an hour wait, she was obviously clean!). We asked for a wheelchair because of her pain she couldn’t walk, the receptionist said No& then called over the police officer, as if asking was an issue, the officer threatened my sister for asking for the wheelchair again. She waited another 2 hours in pain to be seen, by dr. Jin. We explained what we experienced &she LAUGHED! So I had to explain to a doctor what bedside manners were& laughing at the disgusting process was unethical! Only one nurse I spoke to was even remotely helpful! After the examination they put her on an IV drip& a small amount of pain medicine&They were finally going to admit her, I wasn’t able to enter, so we requested a wheelchair &were told no, I had to explain to the other nurse what was given to her& that she couldn’t walk on her own&that she can either put her arm around her to help her stand or get the damn wheelchair. If this hospital can afford officers they can afford wheelchairs!! There was ZERO communication between nurses& all of them were entitled & RUDE!!

The receptionist in office 210 has the worst customer service. First one, no one else, first time. Walk in say good morning, and she response with did you read the sign. The sign says fill out the form and wait to be called. Waited for 10min someone else comes in and they go straight to her and she signs them in. What! That was rude and inconsiderate, when she had seen us standing there. She talked to her like if she knew her. If they are playing favorites just make those people their appointments first. No reason for me to wake up early.

I always have an excellent experience when I go for my appointments and surgeries… I agree the ER can be though at times, with very long wait times, but my experiences with the ER in past few years have been quite good and attentive. The nurses and doctors take exceptional care of me. I feel very safe in their hands. My prime medical doctors are Dr. Jing Wang Chiang in gynecological oncology and Dr. Christopher Elliott, in urology….they are the best and I honestly love them. I would not go to any other specialized doctors except them. I have my life because of them…( no joke)—a good quality of life—and I am eternally grateful!!! These pics reflect my quality of life… I am a high-stage, chronic cancer patient and have lived longer than anyone expected! ❤️🙏🥹

I gave birth to both of my children here. The actual birthing experience is fine to great, that’s why the 2 stars. The recovering unit is terrible. I was promised all throughout my pregnancy I would be getting a single private room, by the time I was ready to give birth that floor was still well under way in construction. I absolutely hated sharing a room the first time, had I known I would again I wouldn’t have chosen valley medical. The whole concept of sharing a room with a stranger after something so intimate as giving birth is beyond me. I had given birth alone as my husband was with my daughter and we don’t have family here that could take care of her. So after I had given birth I really just wanted to see them and to see my daughter but they where denied from visiting me due to a 1 visitor rule, but my room mate was visited by husband, mother, mother in law, friend and then husband again and all in rotation constantly. But my toddler daughter and husband couldn’t come visit me once. I’m all for a rule but only if it is common sense. My neighbor had a total of 8 visits by people, and I couldn’t have 2 people come at once, does that make sense as to protect from covid if that’s the fear. When I expressed this to the nurse she said “it’s time your daughter learn she is no longer the only priority for you” delightful comfort.

Building is being renovated, waited 12 to be seen in the ED. My nurse and care team in the ED was outstanding, I was scared they explained everything to me, and if they didn’t know an answer to my question they found someone who did. I think once the building is done being renovated it will be a really nice facility. The clinical staff throughout the building were nice and pleasant. The only thing I didn’t like was the long wait

Home to 6 different centers and many specialty clinics all in located here. The institution consists of Burn Center, Children’s Health, Woman’s Health, Rehabilitation Center, Trauma Center and Sobrato Cancer Center. They recently completed the renovation of the front garden, Sobrato Pavilion center to house inpatients and the atrium garden right inside of the hospital building. The volume of patients that they do see here is quite high, unlike many other hospitals. Therefore, the wait to see the specialists can be very discouraging. However, you’ll see some of the very experienced specialists and top notch surgeons here.

You can't even make an appt as a new patient because they don't even pick up the phone. One very rude operator stated that it's because it's a Monday but when I told her I've tried calling at different times of the week, she just transferred me mid sentence to the same scheduling line. I'd already been on hold for 1 hr with no success getting someone on the phone. Very rude of this operator. If this is a taste as to how the whole hospital is like, it is one place I want to avoid. There was one operator that was really nice and tried to navigate me to Dr Ormiston's office in Moor Park. But again, she told me since it is a county hospital, there is a back up on phone lines. I was on hold for another 30 min. Inaccessible.

I have been going to vmc facilities since I was a little girl and all my past experiences where amazing. But over the past 5 years their service has been bad. Last November they almost let my mom died. Today I had a visit and they made me feel like my presence was not wanted there. I don’t know what is going on with the new generation of medical staff but is disappointing. And I’m pretty sure those are the ones striking for better pay and more medical staff. have you guys ask your self if you are actually putting in what you’re supposed to. Remember you need to have love for what you’re doing is not just about the money. I also do want to thank the medical staff that are giving their best out there and I also know some patients are so difficult but you have to understand that they are there because they don’t feel good. Reminder to always be kind.

I'm deeply disappointed to say that our experience at this site has been far from great. There are many things that need to be ameliorated for the safety of our patients, and our staff members alike. We were expecting a wait time of "only a few hours", but in reality, all night has passed without any update of our situation. In the waiting room, patients are not really looked out for constantly (a chair to sit in and wait is all there is), while cleanliness isn't the best where it needs to be. Staff members, it would mean a lot to many us if many of our complains we share were addressed rightly. For now, I will not be recommending this place. It would be very helpful to communicate these issues with the medical team ASAP if haven't done so already, thank you.

This hospital has it all, everything you need to just feel at home. All sorts of individuals and characters work here, all so pleasant to talk to and are so so patient and put up with someone like myself very well. The staff genuinely care and want to take care of you, as after my heel surgery I was placed in the elderly ward and was given such great treatment and attentive and round the clock care. Every one took care of me to the best of their ability, and you could only ask so much! Cleanliness is much more clean than some restaurants I’ve been to, and much cleaner than my own room on the average day. Food cooked perfectly in my opinion. Best Bacon hands down ever. Service was exceptional. The nurses even took time out of their schedule to listen to my amateur singing. I am so blessed to have been in the care of others. I am also able to recall of of the NAs graceful removing my IV. It felt so smooth to the touch. People are amazing. Thank you God for creating us.

I just gave birth here beginning of February 2024. I can't even express how great of an experience they helped me to have. The birthing and maternity ward rooms are huge and very clean. The staff was so nice and welcoming, making sure I was as comfortable as possible given the situation. While in the maternity ward my daughter started choking on left over amniotic fluid and after pressing the call button, saying I needed a nurse and it was an emergency, whithin seconds my room was flooded with 7-8 nurses prepared to get her breathing again (which they did successfully). Forever grateful to the staff here. Highly recommend this place to have your little one's. They'll be in good hands.

Never gave my medication tried to not give me my discharge papers, called my name for a urine sample and when I came up , someone there was getting frustrated with them but I didn’t say anything to the lady I just asked if she called my name she rolled her eyes at me and said “yeah, you can wait” which is like okay if some other patient is giving you an attitude what does that have to do with me? The doctor that saw me there left home and didn’t put down the antibiotics and other medication he said he was going to give me. It took them four hours to even give me Tylenol even though they told me at window #3 they next time I get called they were going to give me it but nope I had to keep asking until someone told me to go to window #9 for it.

Who are the people who represent and manage and this dirty, unfriendly, ill managed hospital? All those negative reviews are not only true but a disgrace and failure of a poorly run hospital that should be shut down completely. I was there yesterday visiting my daughter and left shocked and alarmed at the lack of cleanliness and organization of staff. There was no response from staff when using the emergency call button. The hospital room floor was smeared with muddy dirt and who knows what else. There was no proper recognizable entry for the hospital. Instead there was a makeshift entrance that said Emergency with no signage saying it was the only entrance to the whole hospital. All the other proper entrances were locked. The makeshift entrance had crime scene tape used to cordon off visitors from entering the hospital until registered. Even the staff complained about the confusion and lack of clear signs for visitors. It had the unwelcome feeling of a crime scene construction site in a hospital. Right off I felt like I was in the wrong place. Weird and creepy way to represent a hospital. But that was nothing compared to what came next. Finally after getting allowed in the hospital I was lost in a maze of locked doors, elevators that took me to more locked doors and dead end hallways. After roaming around this mess I finally found a correct elevator to the floor and room for my daughter. It was like being Alice in Wonderland trying to find the White Rabbit! The building was mostly empty with very few people around for help with directions. Again no signs anywhere to direct people. Owners of this hospital are you reading this?! After much frustration I was finally able to find my daughter’s room. But the flowers I had for her were not allowed in there. Hospital rules. One more thing. Fix this hospital and the people who run it. It’s below normal standards. It’s a embarrassment to the city and people who work there. And most importantly, a terrible public experience!

Provides complete healthcare with state of the art facilities. Took my parent to Emergency due to SOB complaint. Wait times were short, blood tests/xray were performed immediately. He was made aware of next steps clearly time to time and eventually was diagnosed for Bronchitis. He was very pleased with the care provided and was very impressed with the staff. They also setup follow up appointment in next 3 days and called next day to check on him. For any medical needs i would highly recommend SCVMD without hesitation. Thank you!!

I'm surprised about the bad review about ER and urgent care. I have visited Santa Clara Medical Center with appointments. It take a long time and understandable with high demand. I always have tomophobia and dislike the pain. When I got in, Santa Clara nurse always give me something to numb my pain and control my anxiety. It was less painful in blood test, iv etc. So I feel they really care about the patients, even someone with anxiety or high tolerance to pain. Overall, it felt smooth and decent experiences.

I came to valley health center for a procedure that was time sensitive. Got to pre-op date that I called ahead of time for and throughout the day waiting for call back received no call back every single time I called they put I missed my appointment because nobody like to respond with my appointment time the very next day I talked to the anesthesiologist and the nurse like everything was fine the following day I was supposed to have procedure they told me to call or that I would be called up until 8:00 p.m. the night before received no calls I wasn't on the list I called up until 11:00 p.m. that previous night still no response still not on the list they told me to call at 7:30 in the morning to the surgical unit I called which then they told me my procedure was canceled yet failed to tell me. Very irritating very upsetting nobody talks to each other from different departments there's no communication to the patient I'm lost hurt confused and then they want to tell me oh we'll call you if we have an opening if somebody cancels that doesn't work for me.

This is the most horrible experience I can ever have in my life. I broke my leg. It’s been 24 hours and they have not operate on me yet. Just going through scans again and again and changing the sheets and swallowing the pain killers . Ive been told that I should be fasting to operate on my and they kept me hungry from last night to 2pm this afternoon. I’m almost out of my patience level. I would definitely look out for other facility for urgent service. This was my initial opinion since I was in bad pain. But dr . Lucas was very knowledgeable and some of the nurses are really good- mernie and sara. Just need to be a lot more patient until you receive the treatment

The website says they are open until 9:00 pm. It's wrong. Staff have tried to get them to fix the misinformation. They close at 5:30 pm. They were very kind and we're sincerely apologetic. It's unfortunate it can't be resolved as I spent time and gas money to return the next day after arriving at 5:40 pm. Also, handicapped parking is in the back. Two entrances to the building.

Absolutely the worst. My wife went in at 9am and out by 5pm. How on earth can it take that long. She went without food. Nobody acted like they cared for any patients. Everyone there was frustrated. They have horrible customer service, long long wait times, and when they get to you they want to push you out the door. Avoid this place. Kaiser was 4 hours faster and more efficient. Nicer staff and will explain everything to you.

Brandon was nurse on training 05/01/23 he was really nice and attentive to fax a Dr note for my daughter’s school since we live 2hrs away and we couldn’t pick up the note because my daughter was at the ER on 04/28/23. But then a RUDE trainer nurse pull the phone away from Brandon and in the worse rude manner possible didn’t introduce herself but told me that Brandon was on training and that he shouldn’t said yes to fax the Dr note . Hopefully someone really take the time to read this reviews and take acción because our experience on 04/28/23 was bad but I just don’t want to go on details. Give all these reviews a purpose if not what is the point to give this space for reviews if no one would do something about it. Sad because it’s a hospital , I get better service at fast food restaurants.

My son was taken by ambulance here after an auto accident going to work. He arrived at approximately 6am. He call us to pick him up and that he was being discharged by 12:30pm. We left our jobs and drove two hours to arrive at hospital to pick him up and we we were told he was not ready to be discharged that they needed to do a CT scan on his ankle which they had done an xray on earlier, they had done a CT on collar bone earlier as well. While he was getting the CT scan on ankle they has given away his room so they put him in the hallway with many other patients. Several hours later they informed him that it was broken (of coarse, we could tell) and that he has to wait for ortho to cast it. Several more hours later some came to cast his ankle. My husband and I were in the waiting area, where no one was a the window for quite a long time. The girl that did show up at time sat on her phone ignoring the line of people waiting. Even security was sitting on his phone and not paying any attention. While my son was waiting hallway there were so many nurses and others just walking, talking, laughing and no sense of urgency to help the people waiting for care. My son was finally discharged at 8:30pm. From 6am to 8:30pm he only had two cups of water and a pack of crackers. There was a lot of miscommunication and lack of effort in my opinion and it's sad because there seem to be enough staff just not a lot that cared about the individuals they should be caring for. Very disappointing.

My experience with the physical therapy services at this medical center was outstanding. The therapists were knowledgeable, attentive, and tailored the treatment plan to my specific needs, ensuring that I made progress with each session. The quality of care I received significantly contributed to my recovery, and I couldn't be more grateful for their expertise. Moreover, the value for the comprehensive and personalized therapy sessions was truly worth every penny. I would highly recommend this medical center to anyone in need of excellent physical therapy services.

Their triage nurse is HORRIBLE!!! I literally just called! CALLED!!! I haven’t even walked in and this experience has been horrific. I called to make sure I wasn’t wasting anyone’s time and had to go through like 7 different menu options and three different operators JUST to get to the triage nurse. Once I get to the nurse, I am met with silence on the other end and to be hung up on! The second time I go through this process I’m met with a nurse on the other end only to be hung up on AGAIN!!! This is unprofessional and extremely dangerous!! I literally just want to know if my situation constitutes an emergency and they won’t provide me the decency of a short and polite conversation. I AM IN PAIN!!! This is horrific and honestly I don’t recommend this place to anyone!!

I just moved here and wanted to find a primary care physician. I was told it was going to be a 14 minute wait. 57 minutes later, I am still waiting. I have been told over and over again that if I have a primary care physician I can book online. If I had a primary care physician I would not be on hold. If I could give a zero stars I would

Rest of those , there are a accounter. They know how to collect(still) money from your insurance. Thats is what they know. 98% of them, they got their diploma from Flea Market. Customer service reps over the phone are condescending and will gaslight you as you ask them to explain your bill. Their customer portal does not show transaction history so you can't know for sure that they are tweaking/redoing the charges if you have a disputed transaction, what was the original, what is revised, what is the final? It's gotten to a point where I requested a bill to be stamped "FINAL" before I paid it because I told the rep I don't want anymore surprises. I want to be done with this place and never use them again.

I have only had to deal with their outpatient neurology department fortunately. It took us a month just to get scheduled because they kept saying they had not received our drs referral, even though two different drs faxed it in. They would not let me walk the referral in “because that’s not the way they do it” when I did walk in and ask for some kind of assistance to get the test scheduled I was told by the admitting clerk she couldn’t help me it wasn’t her job. Now two-three weeks later we are trying to get the results sent to the dr who ordered the exam, who knows when that will happen because we cannot get anyone on the phone. Poor communication, poor systems, and processes that do not work!

Took my child to the pediatric clinic in this building for a cold, he had so much mucus he would have on it when he coughed. All he needed was some prescribed cough medicine, and don't think dr.'s don't prescribe cough medicine for children, they do. The doctor that checked my son wanted to stick a tube n my child's privates because this intelligent dr. insisted my son had a bladder infection. How do you figure that when my son was urinating properly and crying when he did urinate. It was quite astonishing that dr even suggested that. Valley Medical is full of people that don't care about others health and are out for a paycheck at others expense.

I’ve debated writing this review for years because I didn’t want to share such personal information, but I think it’s important that I give this feedback. My grandma died in the ICU in this hospital in 2017. I was in the hospital room with her to say my goodbyes, sobbing. Outside her room, the nurses were joking and laughing. I understand that people joke around and laugh with their coworkers at work- I do that, too. But this was LOUD and disrespectful. I just wanted to step outside and yell at them all to stop laughing, that my grandma was dead and I was trying to say goodbye. I wish that I did.

NO STARS! Worst place ever!! My father was unfortunately sent here from our closest ER. The doctor only came in the morning to see him and that was it! They kept him an extra day and it was unnecessary, all because the doctor was too busy and forgot to place the order for a brace. Aside from all that they NEVER sent in the forms for my fathers disability! We are a month after my dads hospital stay and we found this out because we called them or else they wouldn’t have let us know that they never sent the forms. Filing a complaint with the hospital and my insurance for sure!

This whole hospital needs a redo. Hire more tech and train the employees on patient care. Having worked at various hospitals in different states, being able to take care of a patient's needs on the first phone call is crucial. The radiology department has one tech on a weekday so the wait is over 2 hours! The E.D will not allow anyone but the patient inside and will not let family wait outside on benches or chairs! They don't call families once an ambulance brings a patient in so it is up to the family member to drive around looking for the patient. The ortho office will hang up on you (Melanie) when a patient expresses frustration at the lack of follow up. The only people who made our lives better were the valet employees and one man at the outside E.D. Props to them.

I love getting my health care from here. I had open heart surgery here when I was a baby in 1981. I have to say I keep coming back to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center for my health care because it's quality care and I enjoy my doctor visits. My doctor team is very helpful and very compassionate. My Health Care team here at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center is taking good care of me.

The healthcare, customer service and bedside manner are all low end, BUT the facilities have been undergoing renovations and the valet parking is very helpful. They upgraded their indoor garden, it is so much more tranquil than it was before the renovation. You should definitely double check which building your appointment is in. The construction has caused lots of changes in how you get from one place to the next. You don't want to be stuck in a labyrinth, or worse, outside.

I have received all of my medical care over the last few years at VMC. I can't say enough good things about these people, I have been treated very well and I have had several procedures done here. Over the years I have had only one bad experience, and that was a specialist doctor, who shall remain nameless, so those are pretty good odds. I have also been treated at quite a few of the satellite offices, and they are as good or better than the main campus. Hope this helps you to make up your mind.

Showed up with signs of a mild stroke, they made me wait almost 7 hours. In the waiting room there was people out of control and no one was doing nothing about it. Someone had a dog running around, people on the phone making loud phone calls and watching videos out loud. Adding that to an unusual headache and will make you walk out of the ER they are lucky it wasn't serious. This an O'Connor are just bad. In case of an emergency DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. Unless you are dying they don't care. Also a lot of practitioners.

I've been a patient here for years and years and I can't say I've ever had a good experience. If you need medical help with anything at all, SCVMC doctors will blatantly ignore messages (patients are unable to call doctors offices directly). I've gone through many doctors like this. And forget trying to get an appointment or test results or surgery or medication. Makes me wonder how many people have died because SCVMC doctors don't want to do their jobs... like at all. Not even bare minimum.

I've been taking my kids here nearly 4 years. The doctors are great, appointment scheduling was decent, and the waiting times were long but manageable. The reason why I am leaving Valley Health Center Bascom is solely due to the fact that the billing department won't give me a straight answer to why I was charged for basic preventive treatment (flu shot) with my insurance. They charged me for "problem focused issues discussed." No matters were discussed with the nurse who administered the shots. Communication is poor to be honest. It's not even about the money, it's the principle.

Worse ER i’ve ever been. If I could give -1000 stars, i would! Unfortunately had to go 2 times with ambulance, so they decided and took me there. 1 time I thought i was having a stroke, my right side was getting numb and I started to feel very bad. They didn’t let my husband go with me inside. This gave me major anxiety because i was scared and confused about the situation since no one helped me well, the neuro doctor came and told me to just rest, any exams, nothing . Couple of hours later, i felt better, they said i was pretending the whole thing ( which i found out later with a private neuro that i have migraines with aura, which are mistaken as stroke), and i was being discharged, they made me sign some papers and i did because i felt humiliated and wanted to leave. Later reading the paperwork, it said that i wanted to leave because by request, like they didn’t discharge me and i refused any kind of treatment. They put that in the system. Because of that, my 2 time there was much worse. I was having chest pain, felt something was wrong with my heart, ambulance took me there, they didn’t let my husband go inside again( this was end of 2021 already), didn’t help me AT ALL. I was laying crying there all night long with pain, nurses came to my door and talk crapp about me without knowing me, i ask for answers of why no one helped me and they put in my chart that i was rude and arrogant. Later with another private cardio, found out again that i wasn’t wrong. Anyways, had to tell my story in here. I got traumatized by this events and had to get therapy. We are there trusting our lifes and people do this kind thing, is not ok. I’m sorry if you being thru something like this too.

I would like to give negative stars for this hospital. Despite acknowledging so many bad reviews they are still the same. They didn’t improve a bit. Me and my brother were there and they just made him wait in the waiting room for 4 hrs before seeing a doctor. Do they not know that they are working in emergency care? Have some empathy stupid people, its such a shame to even call you doctors who don’t perform their duties on time. I thought the minimum training doctors get which pursuing their career is that their job is TIME CRITICAL. The entire emergency department is stupid who is not doing anything with all the realistic feedback.

Dr. Leon Tan, MD Neurology, was very unprofessional and did not make us feel like we were getting any professional advice for what we came in for. His comments and remarks were unbelievable and left my wife very upset. It definitely felt like instead of him helping our issue we had to prove and convince him of our sons issue. Which he still didn't seem to believe. My wife left there without any recommendations or help for our sons condition. 0 stars but google recommends atleast 1.

the hsa’s here are all morons. they throw away personal stuff and don’t understand well. some of them wear a very strong scent and it’s hard when the patient is sensitive to smell and coughing a lot. some of them are also very stuck up. seriously? where are your bedside manners. this place is just horrible. their chickens are so hard that you can’t bite or cut through it.

My insurance with SCVMC. Parking can be a challenge. I drove twice around before I got a parking spot, not bad. Finding the ob/gyn office for the first time was easy. Supporting staff is friendly Doctor was on time and answered my questions. Overall I like my health care. Have your questions written down BEFORE the appointment and be on TIME. 😊 No one is going to care about your body more than you. 👊 Everyone wears a mask, so okay for flu, Covid-19, RSV There is a Taco Bell next store if you get hungry.

the pediatrics in this place is amazing I honestly love this place taken my son since the day he was born and the staff has always been very kind and are usually quick seeing the patients they there was a mixup with my insurance and they tried to switch me to Kaiser I literally called the place and canceled my insurance in order to stay here only reason why I'm giving them 4 stars is because the parking some people decide to park in two spots when there is like no parking I think you guys should have parking security or something but overall I love this place and my doctor

The OBGYN team that treated my wife are professional, empathetic, and went-over-and-beyond to make sure my wife gets needed attention and treatment. However, the wait time at ER is unbearably long. I blame no one but the leadership of the hospital/county. Clearly the ER is understaffed and there is no way to deliver a quality care without enough resources. It’s a shame that healthcare workers need to undergo such stressful experience while giving their best for the patient. I thank all the medical worker here and can only hope the leadership will provide enough support for these dedicated medical workers.

It took a long while to be seen, but I’ve been in other states where the wait was longer. With the exception of one nurse everyone treated me nicely and tried their best to get everybody seen in a timely manner. There are not enough medical people and they are short staffed. We have to realize that 1 or 2 doctors cannot possibly see all the patients so fast. I will admit that the constant influx of law enforcement with their handcuffed, hurt charges made me nervous, but that is not on the hospital.

Very unprofessional! My sister had her baby here and she is a single mom, my mother and other sister were here for her, taking turns to be with her and baby. The staff were rude maybe two nurses out of everyone there were so nice and decent. Very unprofessional and discriminated against myself and sister that gave birth because and I quote “they both look ghetto with their tattoos and piercings” coming from nurse joy. So insane that we’re in 2024 and still receiving negative comments about our appearance, mind you my tattoos consist of avengers characters and the galaxy, my sisters just have names and flower prints. They went back on their word about how many visitors at a time, and the second we left and my sister was alone they started telling her she needs to make sure she’s up for every feeding which is every 3hrs or they will inform a social worker, hate hate hate the experience at this plac
