So yummy!!!!! The food is so fresh, tasty, filling and prepared carefully for you. The staff are very sweet and can explain what all the foodstuffs is 😊 I love that with the Hinata Brunch Set you get to try many different flavour combinations and textures that work well and are perfectly balanced. The drinks are also unique and so delicious. Protip - must save room for dessert!!

I have been to Hinata many times, every time is always a lovely experience. I always order the brunch set as it comes with a variety of different dishes, and it’s a really substantial size. I recently tried the deconstructed matcha and WOW it was wonderful! The manager sat down with me to teach me how to make the matcha. It was really a special experience to learn the Japanese tea ceremony, thank you!

Among all the cafes in this area, Hinata really stands out as something different and with a lot of character, you can tell lots of love is put into everything they produce! Myself & my partner have very different tastes in coffee (him preferring a rich, dark Italian style roast/ me loving nuttiness and fruity things!) We both agree that the coffee at Hinata is comfortably in our top 3! We have tried matcha, the different floats, hojicha, the brunch specials and onigiri! They have all been delicious, every time. The staff are wonderful, obviously busy but efficient and kind. 10/10 would recommend!

Had an enjoyable brunch at this cafe here on a Friday morning Food: you can tell it’s an authentic home style Japanese cooked food . Had the brunch set. It wasn’t a big portion, just enough to leave me satisfied. Was plated nicely.Imagine those you can get from a nice home stay Japanese mum. It’s tasty and portioned out nicely. Not a huge range of savoury for brunch menu, good variety for dessert and drinks. Service: order from counter service, each table has a number, so you will just have to let them know your number when you order. Staff will also explain each component on the brunch set when it is brought out. Atmosphere: Picture a Japanese seaside cafe with surfers in a countryside sea town. That’s the feeling you get when you step in the cafe. Not a very big cafe but cosy enough. Final thoughts: love this place and would be an amazing place for a light brunch , dessert and drinks catch up. Only thing that bothers me is the parking. It was pretty hard on a Friday morning to get a decent parking. I can’t imagine what it will be like on the weekends when everyone will be out. If you do get parking and if there aren’t enough seats in the cafe , it’s not something where you can walk down the road for another cafe.

Great warm family atmosphere, seating can be limited in the main cafe area. Make sure to get there before lunch rush, if not they may offer you a table in the overflow area where the atmosphere is not as great. We initially took the offer and was placed in that area, upon realising that it was too quiet and felt more like a storage space. We asked to move to an available seat at the front and was quickly accommodated. The food and drinks were great, the lunch set in particular had a very home cook feel to it. Great for a cold winter day to warm up with some great Japanese food.

Went for brunch on a Friday. I ordered the brunch set and hojicha latte. The brunch set was very fresh and healthy. Not a big fan of the pudding that came with the set. Staffs were great in explaining the dishes. Love the outside seating area. It felt very cozy and homely.

Another doggo friendly cafe. Tasty brunch nice size servings though small for me personally but then again i am a pig when it comes to food XD love the vibe. don't forget to add katsu to the curry set, i made the rookie mistake, didn't see it until had a read of the menu when i wanted a dessert.

I went there for weekend lunch and ordered the Hinata brunch set. It was a generous portion of veggie appetisers, warm miso soup, minced chicken and fish tempura as the main courses. The tofu pudding dessert was fantastic. It was silky and not overly sweet. The staff was very nice and friendly to describe each dish in the set. The experience was excellent and will come back again.

Amazing Japanese fare, transporting me back to life in Japan, and visiting little hidden cafes in laneways. The food and coffee are great 👍🏻 I would recommend dressing for the weather, as most seating is outside and is very limited. Parking is horrendous and if it were better, I’d probably visit more frequently…

A very hip and cozy cafe tucked in a suburban street, decor has very homey and hipster touch. Service is very friendly and prompt. Prices are on the higher end. We tried their brunch set, curry and okonimiyaki. We feel their food and drinks are just standard, and the cafe is more of a novelty thing to try. We won't go back for meals, but will probably go back for drinks and matcha cake. Their amazake is almost exactly like the ones I had back in Japan.

Bustling Cafe with a warm atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor dining area with lots of fans to help on a warm day. Whilst the menu is small, the dishes are well-presented, of good portion and taste absolutely delicious. Feels healthy/nutritious. Food was served with a nice introduction of food. Definitely trying more dishes

My second time at this place. Wantes to bring mum and Gran, who usually lives in Singapore to try this pretty place. October menu was maybe not to their taste, but I loved it! They did like the desserts and drinks as it wasn't too sweet. Definitely my constant go-to place to try their new monthly menus!
