I was very happy that My baby took birth in this hospital. However I gave 4 star instead of 5 because on the day of discharge they charged me extra Rs 4000.00 for which they did not give me the receipt (date: 22 July 2019). On the top of that they told me to pay that amount in cash. I argued with the person in the cash counter but he did not agree. He said to me that this extra amount will be taken by visiting Doctor. I had to pay that extra amount in cash as I didn't any option as they would not give me the birth record. The management of IHR must look into this kind of things. As Rs 4000 is not a big thing but the important thing is people's trust and transparency of services.

Patients are really research objects for this hospital. They just follow their target charts ONLY. Patients gets appointment for 10 am and doctors meet after 4 pm. Wanted me to abort my child of 6 month baby in my tummy by saying that it was abnormal,even after doing so many tests. THEN I went to the other hospital and now he is 4 years old and perfectly fine. In case i meet an accident near to this hospital and people ask me to take there, I will choose to die on the road rather going to this RESEARCH CENTER

I appreciate what doctors are doing in pandemic. But still we have some responsibility towards commitment. After taking appointment, we have to wait for 2 hours. Then what is the sense of booking appointment. We book appointment so that we can plan our day as per appointments. Please improvise on this.That will be beneficial for others. Thank You.

Dr. Smita das is the best doctor i have ever known. She is a wonderful, caring and a very positive lady. She has always helped me whenever i was in trouble. She has solution for every problem.

The hospital give more priority to money than patient health, Dr Dhiren Dutta** behavior is very bad and never respond to a patient clearly, my wife when she asked to her to explain her once again the treatment and medication he started scolding. His treatment was also very unprofessional and never discuss with patient. Although we have changed the hospital after few unsuccessful attempts but Dr Kanchan Murarka and Dr Deepak Goyenka are good.

Our IVF treatment was started under the guidance of Dr. Saurav Maheswari(Infertility Specialist).Dr. Saurav Maheshwari  made our dreams come true of adding baby to our family. On 5th August 2022 we become parents of twins (baby boy and girls ).After years of trying on our own and going through other fertility Doctors, we had almost given up of having children but Dr. Saurav Maheswari made impossible things to possible with his valuable treatments ,he is an amazing infertility specialist,from the day one of treatment he supported us with his valuable treatments.Our experience was amazing in the entire time of treatment.The nursing staff deputed for taking care during post delivery are genuinely good and honest people. They are very kind and pollite. I would highly recommend IHR GUWAHATI and Dr. Saurav Maheshwari(Infertility Specialist) any friends and family wishing to start a family. IHR being such a reputed hospital....has no system of prior appointment .... there are instances when patients were kept waiting till 12.30 at night.... and patients had to go back without visiting the doctor . I personally waited there from 7.30pm to 12.30 am for nothing.... on enquiring the receptionist had no idea about the system of the hospital.....someone from jagiroad took an appointment online and after they reached hospital.... the receptionist denied to accept the appointment and had to leave the premise without visiting the doctor.... so for what the facility is being given to people to book online. (No offence upon the doctor but the system of so called repited nursing home should be taken care of)

IHR has best of the doctors. They are very warm and humble, understands patients’ problem, helps them with a genuine solution, hence wins individuals confidence. Is there half a star rating? Worst hospital ever. No need to take online appointments. You'll end up waiting from morning 10 am to 6 PM. They deleted my earlier review also. The torture and stress to go through is beyond. All patience gets loose. Money making machine. Several unecessary tests will also be included. No human compassion. Covid test for no reason when the world has already started functioning normally. The so called Lal path lab staff will drill your nose, without him even taking any precaution himself and give result in 30 secs just so they can squeeze out from patients as much as they can. Rude cash counter Male staffs, rude lal path lab staffs. As if they are doing us a favour.

I regret spending my time, energy and money..either it was the doctor or the hospital. Have spent a lot of money here. One thing after another without any success. Complete mismanagement of staff. They could be seen running and talking loudly in the reception desk and lobby especially in the third floor Absolutely with NO professionalism. When asked for some enquiry, they do not listen and behave rudely. Quality management is lacking. There is no respect for patients time. They have to wait for a long time. Besides this Doctors are good but this hospital is bit costly compared to other hospitals in Guwahati.

Doctors are the best and will always be grateful to them though their admin staff should be trained to be humble n polite.Had an incident with their admin staff, on the day of my wife's discharge they provided me a bill which was not as per the approved amount from our Health insurance co. They had provided me 2 such types of bill and tried to bully me of not discharging my wife. With the support of my health insurance co. n threatening of going to police, they agreed on accepting the actual amount . So Insurance holders beware of their AO Sir or he might tried to charge you more by providing wrong bill.

We have a good experience of hospitality. Only one concern is that the non-AC cabin no 4 is little bit hot in nature as no ventilator is there.

The pharmacy is high handed. When I asked for a receipt for the purchase of medicine, I was rudely told that receipt will not be provided. Then after my insistence receipt was provided. The staff are busy chatting among themselves and the doctor kept telling not to take my son's fever seriously. So what am I supposed to do. Take his recurring fever CASUALLY. They will charge you money like a corporate hospital but will behave with you as if you are receiving treatment in a charitable hospital for free.

Cons.- Imaging equipment’s such as USG, Doppler etc are not adequate and images are not clear compared to state of the art machines available in the marketplace.

the best ivf centre and truly god sent hospital.. the dr (kanchan murarka) is so patient and understanding and started the procedure after making sure my body is ready . she is god sent to me and my family .we got positive on first try and she always was in touch during procedure. i couldnt go back to her due to covid but hopefully one day i can go back to her office and thank her personally and her staffs who has given me so much happiness.. i know some r saying wait is so long... waiting is same every where-.... just need a great dr like her unlike rest who are always after money only. i pray for her and her family for happiness and good life. i know she might not remember me as she has so many patients but we will always remember her through our children

All 4 star reviews are paid. Worst medical i have ever seen. Poor service rates high. Cabin condition is poor. Beds are outdated and no automatic pulling system. Administration is shameless. Looteras here. But Some Doctors are nice.

Gynae section is good. All doctors are responsible except Dr. Nirmal Jain who is more interested in taking out infant blood for countless test for self beneficial than curing and giving life to a baby. His only treatment is looking and patting a baby, knows nothing else. Never concerned if a baby will live or die just take out blood and when its beyond the treatment refer to other hospital without thinking how it may cost or stress their parents. Such quacks should not be employed in a reputed hospital like IHR. And the management need to start thinking on some humane ethics too beyond money.

They don't value the time of their patient. Patient needs to wait several hours to meet the doctor even if there is a fixed appointment time. Laboratory Test are expensive than others labs of Guwahati. Hospital are not as clean as other private hospital.

Not recommended. It's dirty and overcrowded and the non-medical staff + pharmacists are rude and acts like they hate their jobs and treats the patient and attendants like dirt. It was a very negative experience and I regret bringing my mother here for treatment. If you have money, I recommend to go elsewhere. We're giving money to get treatment, you're not doing us any favour.

Good hospital for maternity and neonatal treatment. Good doctors and nurses available. Paid cabin is not always readily available. General ward is allotted first. Expansion work is on and so this problem should be addressed soon. In house pharmacy is good and the canteen serves good food. Car parking has limited capacity. Recommended.

All r good except nicu n ICU standard. It needs to upgraded like other pvt Hosp. Basic hygiene while Caring for newborn is totally missing. Nurses wash hands but fail to clean all dirty and dusty pads, feeding tubes,diapers, Medicine brought from pharmacy. Staff needs to be permanent n not change frequently. Senior most paeditrician needs to retire as his diagnosis is outdated and lacks foresight in identifying baby condition. Either he doesn't have the knowledge or waiting to heal itself. Doctor monitoring the nicu /ICU should be visible to their bodies and not sleeping in other rooms. Some common ethics on baby medicine needs to be followed as they are used as guinea pigs for conducting several test for selfish desires of doctors. While all are ok, pediatric dept needs upgrade.

Dhiren Dutta has low experience in post operative procedures. Due to which patient is now suffering . Beware. Rest hospital is good and other doctors also. Just stay away from dr Dhiren.

Dr. Dhiren Dutta followed some unethical protocol ( confirmed by neurologist who is now treating wrongs of this so called doctor ) and led to long term issue. Don't dare to get operated with Dhiren Dutta. He is okay with ivf procedure only. Knows very little on operating procedures. There are many negative reviews of him on Justdial. But every time he will start posting false reviews to hide it. Wish I had treatment with dr. Deepak Goenka who is real gem and provide exemplary service.

It was a good experience in IHR, dedicated staff, happy with all services but but but but ya at the end i must say discharge flow is worst,you people could initiate things earlier for cashless patient,cash part you have collected from me in the 1st half of the day and even after getting discharged intimation from consultant we are stuck in room since 12 noon, how to go out late night with a 3 days new born baby. Speed up the discharge process or else everything is fine.

I had my delivery in the year 2018 and I found my doctor to be very nice and obviously she is very much experienced. The pediatrician is also very good. One thing which I really found annoying is the payment method. They don't take gpay ,they want cash or card and it is very very irritating. Gpay, Paytm these are convenient methods.
