Second time staying (last in 2021, now again in 2022 for a wedding) and again second time disappointment. The service is bad (multiple times room not made, long waits), and the food is extremely mediocre to bad. 2 stars for the spacious rooms, gorgeous view and peaceful beach.

Stop scrolling and book this resort! We travel extensively and this is in the top 3 vacations we have had in the world. The property, the staff, the beach, and the food are second to none! We feel like we have the beach to ourselves. Every single person on property makes you feel special. They greet you and thank you for coming to Anguilla. We enjoyed the week night evening ritual of the Champagne sabering. We talked in length to the Sasha , the new general manager who came here from managing a 5 star resort in the Maldives. We love it so much we don't want to leave! Peruse my photos and hopefully you will fall in love with Capjuluca too!

Most stunning property on the most beautiful beach in Anguilla. Many thanks to Justin Time… you treated us like royalty! We were uplifted every time you greeted us. Thank you for making our brief visit to Anguilla so very enjoyable.

Best service at a resort ever in the Caribbean rivaled Blackberry Farm in TN in terms of service. Friendly, knowledgeable staff trained like pros. room service, housekeeping, beach setup all first class. Rooms are fantastic, the beach is like a mile long, 4 great restaurants. Most of all low key resort no high rise no "boom boom" music just class and service.

Best vacation we've ever taken. Beautiful views, top notch service, good food and wonderful staff. Also our villa host Sonni took care of everything. He made everything that much better. Definitely coming back sooner than later. Thank you to everyone I met at Cap Juluca, you all made this trip special.

We had a great vacation here. The property is amazing but the staff is even better. Special shoutouts to Kera, Justin-Time, Delano, St. Clair, Jessica, Keron, and Gene who all made our stay all the more enjoyable. Restaurants were delicious, the breakfast is top tier, and the relaxation is superb. Highly recommend for a getaway! We stayed 5 nights and it was perfect. Visited the 4 Seasons while we were there and while it’s very nice too it didn’t have the same authentic island vibe as Cap Juluca.

We stayed here for 6 nights. This is one of my favorite hotels we have ever stayed at. The service may be the best we have ever had. We were at our normal vacation spot in St Barths the week prior to Cap Juluca and to our surprise the Cap Juluca experience may have topped it. My wife and I spoil ourselves with hotels throughout the world but I honestly think this is a top 3 for me. Friendly staff, everything feels very high end, and you feel very safe. The beach is the best beach you could ever be at. If you are deciding between Four Seasons and here, go here. Four Seasons is nice but it gave us corporate high end hotel vibes, CJ is more of a boutique, quiet, very private experience. I never leave reviews but felt the need to for this one because it was so great.

Gorgeous beach with sunrise over Saint Martin and outstanding sunsets, the individual villas are spacious and it can accommodate small groups, your own private pools and walk right to turquoise water. The restaurants at the resort are outstanding, the service is out of this world, I had the best massage in my life at the spa, great experience and it's worth the money. I will be back.

If you want to feel like a celebrity, check in here! It is worth EVERY PENNY. And trust me, I love a good deal. To begin our stay, celebrating our tenth anniversary, Sunny and Casey gave us a warm welcome with delicious rum punches, best rum punch we had anywhere and that was the free welcome drink and even offered us a second one! The property is super well maintained and the staff (every single person we encountered) seem to genuinely care about our experience. When you tip the golf cart drivers they are genuinely appreciative and don’t seem to honestly expect or need it like many other resorts where you can tell the staff is not paid well. We were always greeted when passed and they even got our last names correct (most places assume we have the same last name which doesn’t bother us but this was a nice touch). We have travelled the world and stayed at some nice places thanks to a bunch of travel miles I have from work, but Cap Juluca became the top runner by far. It was a dream come true. The rooms are expertly designed and our bags were dropped for us swiftly and they even parked our car for us in front of our villa. The beach was fantastic with free watersports like kayaking, paddle boarding, water floating rafts, fishing with Shawn (so great!), free waters (huge perk!) and excellent service. Drinks on the beach were decent but not as good as in the restaurant areas. Our villa host Shandal made our most perfect day and was incredibly helpful in booking us dinner reservations nightly and giving us personal recommendations. For example, we wanted to go horseback riding, but I have a spinal disorder and needed some accommodations. The place they typically work with for rides said they could not accommodate me and that I should not ride, and Shandal personally called a local guy named Zambezi with a horse named Tosh who walks the beach and was actually less than half the price, and willing to accommodate me! The ride was fantastic, everything we dreamed and more, and Zambezi was super gentle and made sure I was comfortable the whole way, even assisting me getting on and off. We even saw a double rainbow which was super special. Shandal also arranged for us to ride in the 1969 VW bus they have on property (my dream vehicle). Kemal drove us around the property, took photos for us and even found me the very last of a previous resort souvenir when he found out I collect the small VW bus cars!!! Shandal was genuine, kind, patient and responsive, the perfect villa host! The only very small complaint I had was a miscommunication about the location of the Friday morning yoga, myself and another guest were sent by reception to the tennis courts and then back to where we were originally at the event space across the property, but everyone seemed genuinely upset with themselves that this happened (the two locations are super far from each other, we hitched a ride with a guest driving a golf cart) and wanted to make sure it didn’t happen again, was apparently due to some old information still lying around that several people had seen at reception and they had told us wrong because of this. At first the yoga teacher seemed a bit annoyed but then she warmed up to us and was SO accommodating as the other guest was (not visibly) pregnant, and me with my spinal disorder, and really treated us like queens. It was fantastic even if a bit shorter than it was supposed to be. Even the people in the gift shop and art gallery were stand out friendly and lovely. Overall this was one of the most detail oriented resorts we’ve ever stayed at. We did not expect to return to the little island of Anguilla, but Cap Juluca really swayed us, and I think we will be returning there in the next few years. They really made our stay the trip of a lifetime. You can see from my photos, please check them out, including the art I did for their guest book! Thank you Cap Juluca!

We stopped by Cap Juluca for a quick day trip visit to Anguilla from Saint Martin, and so glad that we did! The service was incredible, the hotel was stunning, and the lunch at the Cap Shack was probably our favorite meal of the trip!

If you stay here check out Princess at the spa and Sonny overall! They are so awesome! Stay at the Four Seasons if you are looking for ambiance, however, the service here is quite good.

Absolutely fantastic resort. The staff is so incredible and goes out of their way to make you feel at home and accommodate you. Ngozi took such great care of us and made sure we had everything we needed when he got a last minute day off. We're already talking about coming back to this beautiful resort.

Can not say enough good things about this hotel. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The room was amazing with a great housekeeping crew. The beach was the most beautiful beach I have ever been too and that says a lot considering I have visited beaches all over Australia, Indonesia, Thailand, etc. The service at the beach, and the stocked yeti coolers were amazing. The restaurants had amazing views and the food was great- they paid attention to the details for sure. The best part about this hotel is the people. Everyone truly went above and beyond to make this the best experience. My now fiancé proposed to me on this trip, and all of the staff were in on it and made it is truly unforgettable night. We will definitely be back!!

A true 5 star experience! The beach was pristine and the staff was so accommodating. We split our baby moon between time here and at Four Seasons and regretted it. We should have spent all our time at Cap Juluca. They just set the bar so high, from getting me a pregnancy pillow (didn’t request one) to giving our little one a teddy bear to take home with. The service was amazing, the amenities were clean, and the live music was a nice touch. We loved being feet away from the beach, the pools were nice, too but we’re beach people. Loved that they had a yeti stocked with water by each beach chair. The food was okay, breakfast was really good and had a ton of on menu options but also the buffet was fully stocked. The Peruvian restaurant was great! Cips was okay, but the chef was super accommodating and made me an off menu dinner. Overall, we will definitely be back!

My visit to Cap Juluca, Anguilla on March 1st 2023 would not be complete without paying tribute to my server - Justin-Time. His service was top-notch. He was gracious, kind and attentive through-out my stay. He even came around to move my umbrella as the sun dips. With Justin-Time on staff, one can rest assure you will be pampered and treated with utmost satisfaction.. Thank you Just-Time for beautiful memories... Kadija

If I had to describe this resort in short - sleepy AF! My husband and I stayed at Cap Juluca for our mini-moon and kept asking ourselves, "What are we missing?" The property was dead and we just found ourselves completely bored out of our minds. Not to mention, the buildings/rooms need to be knocked down and rebuilt. The decor and many of the finishes are great, but you can tell how old the resort is by noticing leaks and poorly repaired holes in the walls at the restaurants and inside the rooms. Walls are super, super thin to the point where I was truly convinced someone was in our room throughout the night. Beds were close comparison to sleeping on a rock... This is coming from someone who likes a firm bed. We spoke to management about the beds and they tried to resolve the issue by using pillow-tops.... why do we have to complain to management about this? For the price of the rooms, all beds should've been comfortable from night 1. Service: Sure, you're on "island time" and this was my excuse as we were on property but quickly felt validated when we left our reservation at Cap early to stay at the Four Seasons. Night and Day difference between Cap vs. Four Seasons in regards to service, the atmosphere (@ Four Seasons) was super vibey and felt more "upscale", the food could justify the price whereas the meals at Cap were a complete disappointment. Last thing to note: I would've thought a 5-star resort would pay attention to detail and have a much nicer property view upon arrival. Most of the rooms face a sad-looking "pond" with a view of dilapidated concrete buildings. For a Belmond property, I was unimpressed and expected much more regarding attention to detail and.... all of the above. I left this resort feeling so disappointed that this was our mini-moon experience. Will be avoiding the Belmond properties when taking our honeymoon.

One of the most romantic extraordinary hotels in the world. Truly exceptional from start to finish. WOW

This is definitely in my top hotels. The service is cut above the rest. They are friendly and go up and beyond to ensure your stay is an experience like no other. The complimentary buffet breakfast with the ability to order from a menu is outstanding. By far this hotel has the best beach on the island. The powder sand and the ability to walk out of your room straight to the beach will have you not wanting to leave. I love the fact that it's a little smaller hotel, but nothing feels crowded or as though too many people are around. It's also kid friendly. The grounds have bikes and golf carts to get around if needed, but everything is pretty much in walking distance. There's a basketball court as well. There is also a Sabrage every evening. It's a cool experience to do and to get a video of. There's also a beach restaurant at the end of the beach. That is amazing. That also has live entertainment. There is nothing you can find to make you not want to stay at this hotel.

This resort is quiet and beautiful. The best beach in Anguilla. The service is excellent, everyone is very friendly and welcoming. The food at each restaurant was delicious. You can't miss crayfish at any restaurant. 100% will be coming back.

We came here for the day with our toddler, as we were staying at a different hotel, and the experience we had with Justin-Time was simply spectacular. He was friendly from the start, willing to help us right away to get situated on the beach. Excellent customer service! The drinks were delish! The water was crystal clear! Nothing better than that! :)

I wish I could give this property more than 5 stars!! It's absolutely stunning, with immaculate grounds and villas. The true magic of this property rest squarely with the staff (each and every member of their team was phenomenal). From our pick-up at the ferry to check-in to breakfast and dinner -- each interaction was warm and easy. That being said, there was one member of the team who exceeded any customer service expectations I could ever have. Our Villa Host, Sonni, went above and beyond to ensure every need, both present and unforseen, were met. I can't put into words how grateful I am that Sonni was assigned to our villa and hope that he is rewarded substantially for all that he does in his role. My advice: book this resort, request Sonni as your host, and interact with as many people on property as you can -- they are a wonderful team! Makayla is also a gem with the concierge team! I can only hope to make my way back to Cap Juluca again.

What to say about a place that takes you away from it all! One could go to the island hotels in Maldives after a 20 hour flight or come to Cap Juluca. The place is located on a breathtaking crescent beach with turquoise blue waters. Time literally stops here. Normally we are very active vacationers but here, we just sat on the beach enjoying the nice wind, blue waters, the drinks and the food. The four Seasons is a few minutes away from the Belmond, but felt like a different island. We took one day out for taking a tour of the island and you will find it super quiet - the total population is only 15k. If you can, a lunch or dinner at straw hat, jacala, blanchards is worth it. To the Cap juluca team - Bravo. Amazing service that made us feel at home and the smiling faces of the team showed us how well you take care of them. Anthony, thanks for leading from the front. Thanks for the amazing breakfasts and great dinners right next to the ocean. Things that can help you cap juluca team - flags for guests on the beach; getting rid of the bbqd yellowfin tuna at cap shack 😁 Finally, it was fun to meet the current world #1 here relaxing before she begins her next season - and not a soul bothered her!

This place is truly a dream. The lobby, the beach, the food, the drinks, and of course, the people. Our room came with our own guest service agent, Maurey, who was beyond helpful. He showed us to room which was unbelievable, right on the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. We spent most of our time on the beach and Barbie was very attentive with brining us the most delicious pina coladas. We met the hotel manager Anthony at the evening Saber who was very hospitable and inquired about our stay. The breakfast is truly the best breakfast + view we have ever experienced. The ladies at check out + the concierge were also so amazing...and maybe they'll remember me as the one that legit cried at check out because I didn't want to leave! (Thank you for our xmas ornament!) Truly a magically place, thank you for making our honeymoon perfect!!

We really enjoyed our beach time and lunch at UCHU today! Justin Time took amazing care of us, he was extremely nice, friendly and provided excellent service - some of the best we’ve ever had! He was very attentive. We will be back go see him again next week!

This place is magical; beautiful decor, relaxing, clean, great views, and awesome service. We spent the day on the beach. Justin-time greeted us and took great care of us throughout the day: providing water, changing our towels when it rained, checking in to see if he could get us anything at any point. Highly recommended the mahi mahi tacos for lunch!

The best resort, food and hospitality in the Caribbean is here. All of the staff was great but Sonnie, Gene, Sheila and Caroma were the best ever. We will definitely be back. Better than Four Seasons. The resort is beautiful but it’s their hospitality that sets Cap Jaluca apart from others we’ve visited Derek & Sheila Johnson

If you seek a relaxing and luxurious beach vacation look no further. If you love to spend time in the ocean, this is the place as the water is calm and the access is easy. Beautiful rooms and friendly efficient service from a staff that truly seems to take pride in their work. Superior breakfast buffet and the burger at lunch is world class! We had two terrific meals at Cips and a mixed experience at Uchu. I am a tough critic and it is hard to understand some of the negative reviews....Belmond Cap Jaluca is world class, end of the story.

Our stay at Cap Juluca was absolutely amazing. When we arrived, we were welcomed with a wonderful drink by Roxana, she was sooo helpful! Then our host Maury took us to our villa and provided excellent customer service. We had lunch at Uchu (amazing ceviche) and dinner at Cip’s (the carpaccio classico was divine). The ambiance was breathtaking and service impeccable at both restaurants. Our server Monique at breakfast made sure we didn’t have to ask for anything, truly helpful. All in all, we only spent one night but it was an eventful and memorable night. I am now an engagement woman and I’m so happy my fiancé chose this place to propose. We will surely be back.
