(Translated by Google) It is much nicer than the Agribtelek short tour, though the Domica is the cleanest section anyway. Well built, even with larger hiking bags. You can also take photos and even use flash. (Original) Sokkal szebb az aggteleki rövid túránál, bár egyébként a domicai a legtisztább szakasz. Jól kiépített, akár nagyobb túrazsákkal is leengednek. Fotózni, sőt vakut használni is szabad.

Great guided tour, beautiful cave. As it was winter bats were hanging from the walls sleeping - so cute LoL

(Translated by Google) Beautiful. Too bad there is no small heated waiting area for colder days.

(Translated by Google) We did the middle tour, it was beautiful. It was barely longer than the short rides anyway, and it shows a lot more.

Thrilling and unforgettable experience. Super cave tour, grear tour guide, very helpful and lovely staff. Unfortunately the directions were not very clear and some information online would have been more helpful but the tour itself was excellent. The tour was held only in hungarian.

Even though the tour was in Hungarian only we still enjoyed this tour. The length of the caves and the natural decoration can be appreciated without words.

Excellent structure new and very clean. Cave was interesting and easily walkable. Guide (Alex) was not english speaking but kind and helpful at pointing out highlights as they corresponded to written description. Excellent overall!

Amazing 2 hour tour walking through breathtaking cave system. Highly recommend. Dress warm as it’s 10 degrees Celsius. 4500ft for an adult

Cave tour was great, only annoying thing was, that they did not give visitors enough time to make photos in two or three very large halls and turned lights off too early. Tours are only in Hungarian language, but they provide information in few other languages including Slovak in ticket booth. Parking is under trees, what was appreciated in really hot day. Some buffets along parking offer good variety of food, but they accept only cash. There were extremely many mosquitos there during our visit around 16:00. Repellent strongly recommended. Openning hours, pricelist and other info is available at hungarian website anp (cannot write whole name here) It is possible to visit other two caves (or parts of cavernous system), from which cave Voros-to offers longer 100 minute tour!

The tour was good. But only the driver was allowed on the bus on the way back, even though there was enough space, it made a little kid cry.

Great place to visit. Unfortunately the guide is only in hungarian, if you don't know the language you won't understand anything. The guide was also nervous if we did not stay at his presentation

This is an outstanding experience, not to be missed ! Not to be confused with the 1 hour Baradla cave tour from nearby Aggtelek, this is the *100 minute* tour that leaves from the "Red Lake" area, in between Aggtelek and Jósvafő. For me, this tour was far more interesting. The caves are more spectacular, and the tour guide Anett added intrigue and fun, including with the children on the tour. Speaking of children, there were several of all ages, and they all handled it well (with the help of parents). There is a very long descent of stairs, then it is mostly level with the occasional bit of climbing (stairs). My smartphone pics do not do this AMAZING adventure justice. Highly recommended !

(Translated by Google) Sophisticated reception center. Surprisingly nice clean toilet! Huge and shady parking spaces are provided. There is plenty of seating to wait. Even a dick seller. Nice postcards. It is worth starting from here on the longer hiking trail. Not strenuous pleasant walk down the stomach of the mountain. (Original) Igényesen kialakított fogadó központ. Meglepően szép tiszta toalettel! Hatalmas és árnyékos parkolóhelyek vannak kialakítva. Sok ülőhely van várakozás idejére. Még kacat árus is. Szép kepeslapok. Érdemes innen indulni a hosszabb túraútvonalon. Nem megerőltető kellemes séta lefelé a hegy gyomrában.

Nice part of cave. From this entrance is longer tour for public, Shorter is from Aggtelek. From exit is possible to get bus to get back to parking for free

  • 5/5 Marian H. 5 years ago on Google
Cave is impresive. We took longer route (1:45) and it was very nice, worth visiting. Guide was kind to switch from Hungarian to English now and then.

An unforgettable experience. Recommend the entrance at Voros-toi. Over 1.5 hs of breathtaking views topped by the music-and-light show in one of the caves huge chambers. I have seen dozens of caves in Slovenia and Slovakia (including the neighbouring Domica), and I can honestly say that Baradla is absolutely special. This cave is a must-see!

(Translated by Google) The cave itself is really wonderful. Must see! The entrance to Red Lake is well built. However, I think much more could be brought out of the building and the attraction. I really liked the place overall. (Original) Maga a barlang igazán csodás . Látni kell! A Vörös tavi bejárat jól kiépített.

(Translated by Google) The stalactite cave is amazing, the tour guide is interesting and only the most important ones about the place are so boring.

(Translated by Google) The tour guide gave what he needed in a bored, monotonous, poetic voice. Unfortunately, it was like that all along. He heard that he was tired of it all. This left his mark on the tour. The sight itself would have been beautiful. No group discount. Maga a látvány szép lett volna. Nincs csoportos kedvezmény.

(Translated by Google) Unfortunately, the long tour was discontinued (for technical reasons i.e. redundancies), so we chose the middle tour. I was a little surprised that due to the limited number of people I had to wait more than 2 hours with children. Online information and booking would be good. The cave, the nature is beautiful, the guide is friendly. It is a bit sad that all the existing family benefits have been withdrawn here, in vain, we need the money, there is little tax on nature conservation ... :(

(Translated by Google) Fantastic, wonderful. However, it is also tiring, as immediately at the entrance you have to go down 271 steps to suddenly reach a depth of 60 m. Even after that, there are many stairs, a total of 590, plus it is full of slopes and catchers for about 3 km. Good high with 90 percent humidity. It's 10 degrees down, but we're still sweating. The tour guide prepared the information prepared and patiently. I definitely recommend it to everyone!

(Translated by Google) It is worth paying a minimum for a medium tour. I would have expected more information from the tour guide, just general information, in the form of a template. The cave system itself is wonderful. The music section in the giants' hall was very good, but the complete blackout failed, due to some distant safety lights ?. Due to the constant plus 10 degrees, layering is warmly recommended. (Original) Minimum a közepes túrára érdemes befizetni. Maga a barlangrendszer csodálatos.
