Sutton's Beach without the little shops...not so good!! But the beach itself, and park amenities, including BBQ sites, was great!!! Even has Mobility walkway to go onto the beach. I had a ball going into paddle!!! First time in 10yrs!! Water was tremendous!!!

Great Park right next to the beach in Redcliffe. Plenty of shaded areas with places to sit and park benches too. There is a walking cycling path that goes for 10 km between the park and the beach. The park is very well maintained and very clean. There is access to the road above and plenty of parking at either end.

Suttons Beach Park is a beautiful part of the Redcliffe area. A nice stretch of beach complete with excellent walking path from end to end. Get there early on weekends to grab an undercover BBQ area as it's a favourite spot for many families. There's a nice restaurant and takeaway right there too. Plenty of parking also.

Wonderful escape place to come down out of the city for respite from the grind! I can’t down today to see what is happening with the historic beach pavilion which has been threatened with demolition due to safety concerns! It’s quite a splendid construction but IT’s future looks like it’s short lived

Great place to enjoy the Margate foreshore πŸ–. Lots of covered picnic areas with electric BBQ's, seating & tables. Also out under the trees more seating & tables or bring a blanket & sit on the grass. Fantastic spot for a swim πŸŠπŸŠβ€β™‚οΈ especially for children. The Redcliffe Surf Life Saving Club is at the northern end. A wide path, enough room for walking or riding your bike πŸš΄β€β™‚οΈ. Just remember to ring your bell πŸ””. Enjoy walking along the path or take your shoes off & walk in the water. Experience Nature & Relax.

So beautiful why would you want to live anywhere else. Man made beach and swimming area, Cafe and restaurants galore. And at night a romantic walk and dinner for a couple or family. Kids have a skate park and there's indoor pools there too. If you love the sea like me. Then this is the place for you...

Beautiful beach with good amenities. Splendid walkway along the beach for an evening walk with mesmerizing views. Good beach for family outings. Ample parking close to the beach, pool for children and barbeque are few amenities close to the beach making it a popular destination on Redcliffe. The beach is easily accessible from Brisbane city through public transport. Quite a few events happen on Redcliffe parade street through the year.

Great place for anyone wanting to go for a walk on the beach, a swim, have a bbq or just be by the beach. The day we went there was a patrolled beach area for swimming. Plenty of seating, free bbqs, grassed areas and shade. Was a bit windy but not annoying. Great place to chill out.

  • 5/5 Jamie W. 2 years ago on Google
Loved it, heaps of room concrete seating "take some cushions, or towels to sit on". Shade playground, life saving club and flagged beach, good parking "a little tight" but OK for medium vehicles. Needs more public BBQs, grassed areas. Good walking riding paths.

Nice coastal beach with huge recreational areas for children & adults alike. Plenty of covered tables suitable for picnics & for a Saturday good parking was plentiful. Well done Moreton Bay council.

Nice area to enjoy a stroll along the boulevard & beach with my granddaughter & family. Fun aying in the sand & walking the rocky outcrops looking in pools for anything that takes your fancy. Low tide although good for fossicking but wasn't the best for surf or waves. But still lived the area & have been here so many times for the little ones so they enjoy beach lifeπŸ–πŸ’™πŸ’›πŸŒž

Great pub. Great food. Can be noisy on the weekends - but is happy noise but still noise - under 35's partying mainly so that just shows how popular the place is. Talk is they are bringing back the Smorgasbord shortly as part of new improvements to the pub. Looking forward to that. Pokies area is excellent also TAB and Keno. The staff are absolutely magnificent ' all of them. Big statement I know but it just goes to show the management must be first class. Plenty parking available - close to the Jetty and the board walk. Top place all round. Visitors should not miss calling in to the Belvedere. Well worth it.

Amazing spot for a picnic.. Not too busy on a weekend, calm beach, well maintained grass, undercover tables and decent amount of parking. There's also quite a fair few fish and chip spots nearby. Also great for little kids.. small waves, nice wet sand and a fenced off playground section!

  • 5/5 Lacey M. 2 years ago on Google

  • 4/5 Agnes G. 2 years ago on Google
An awesome venue for family events as it includes poles for a volleyball game & BBQ setting. Only disappointment was it does not have disability toilet access for the vulnerable

  • 5/5 Whatevamate S. 2 years ago on Google
Beautiful spot... Especially on a beautiful day and the tide is out. Kids will love this spot, plenty to do and close to some shops. Only issue is parking... Can get quite busy and parking can be hard to find... So plan the day, get there early and enjoy

Suttons Beach on the REDCLIFFE PENINSULA ... another GEM! A simple, natural, healthy environment!Perfect for walking; cycling; dining; child friendly parks and beaches; watching; gr8t for watching the spectacular sunrises and full moon rising displays; great disability access; seniors friendly. To the wonderful team of PARKS and GARDENS STAFF and unnamed others involved in "caringly" maintaining 'THE PENINSULA' foreshore and connected infrastructure/s for the enjoyment, recreation, pleasure, and healthy lifestyle of all... TY! What better "tonic" location ... during COVID19 times ... to visit!

Suttons Beach park is at its quiet calm morning early on. Sunrise slowly awaken and forming slowly amongst the clouds l, it’s own style of forming beauty right in my view. Beautiful, peaceful, very relaxing with a nice clean breeze to breathe in. Easy route access from Redcliffe or from the Hughton highway bridge Clonarf. Drive all the way through Anzac Avenue to the very end is a T section a big roundabout, turn to the right (3rd exits) Marine Parade and follow all the way towards Margate at a first roundabout is also a T section Marine Parade and McDonnell Road. Tun left is the gated park. Easy to find from the South, just follow along the esplanade and either turn to Snooks Street, Victoria Avenue, Oxley Avenue, all will take you to McDonnell Road turn right. 4 minutes from the Komo Hotel and 1.4 kilometres. Perfect for the family and friends gathering. Rotunda - Historical landmark in Redcliffe is right here. Joggers, walkers, bikers, sky divers are all out early. The place is perfect for photography. What you can do: Swimming (pets not allowed in this water) Skiing Sky diving Kayaking Walking Bike riding Pets must be on the leash at all times Wheelchair ♿️ accessible Picnic Playground πŸ› Sports ground Surf life saver (on weekend) Toilets Parking lot (free) Disabled parking Bus/taxi bay BBQ facility (free) Water fountain Showers Undercover shelter (Park is gated and is closed before midnight) Cafe restaurant are all walking distance along Marine Parade or all the way to inner town. Beautiful place to wonder at 5 stars ⭐️ in my record.

It was a lovely spot to enjoy a coffee and a view. On this visit there was a personal trainer with a mini gym set up. I would never have thought weightlifting could be so mobile or scenic. Very peaceful with dog walking, cycling, walking also. BYO coffee.

Great swimming beach, occasional stingers in stinger season, lifeguards on patrol through summer. Surf lifesaving club uses the beach on Sunday mornings during summer, still space on southern end of beach to swim. Not dog friendly, nice to walk dogs on grassy areas and walkway, but no dogs on beach.

  • 5/5 Leeann T. 6 months ago on Google
Beautiful beach right on the Redcliffe Foreshore. Plenty of shaded areas and free council BBQs to use. Kids will love the play equipment and the beach for activities.

  • 5/5 Zebby A. 7 months ago on Google
Beautiful park with bbq spots, nice beach and cool playground for toddlers. Usually there is an ice cream truck on the weekend. Parking is hard to find during weekend but worth the hassle since it's a nice place to hang out on the weekend.

  • 5/5 Jennie S. 8 months ago on Google
What a lovely place to go for a picnic lunch or barbecue. We went for a barbecue and used their barbecue facilities. The picnic tables were just beyond the sand and the views of the ocean were serene and beautiful. We went for a long walk all around the waters edge which was so peaceful and relaxing. The huge 100 year old bunya pines where our picnic table was are amazing and majestic. The area was clean and well maintained. It is ground level from the road for our participants with walkers and in wheelchairs. It's just a beautiful place to go and be with nature. The waves on to the beach were so gentle and you can walk a long way out it is so shallow.

  • 4/5 Kate O. 9 months ago on Google
Love this spot and often visit. Sad we are now without a place to pop into for a coffee or an ice cream. Looking forward to a timely plan for a new like facility to replace what we no longer have

  • 3/5 Dmitry K. 11 months ago on Google
It's ok. Water is flat and there is not much sand. There are some cafes. Still this is a beach relatively close to Brisbane.

  • 5/5 Oksana S. 2 years ago on Google

What a nice place to be. Great beach heaps of shade, ample parking lots of shelter with bbq areas to match. The council take care of this, they even come here for there lunch break. Clean beach and very good for disabled beach lovers with wheelchair access. Hot beverage trucks and alike have reserved parking spaces and simply a real good spot to be. Good for anglers as well. Highly recommend you visit this place with the family or on your own.

Our church had an afternoon picnic, this is a perfect spot. The only problem is everyone else loves it too. I had to get in an hour early to get a shelter. It is great for both kids and adults.

Hot day and a beautiful cool swim at Suttons. Fresh prawns and some raspberries to top it off. This is a great place for all ages - swim, picnic, bbq, toilets, shelters, table & benches. It's always been a favourite of ours.

  • 4/5 Cobus van W. 1 year ago on Google
Nice beach and grass to set up for the day. No waves if that's what you're looking for. Bit of a walk to the coffee shops, but the basketball court and tide pools are quite close. Not sure what is the future of the Pavilion, but would give the beach 5 stars if that gets sorted one way or another.
