    Recently (1984) constructed Shiva Mandir by a North Indian businessman on the NH52 before entering the Lakhinpur town is a modern architecture marvel. Linga shaped temple, facing east. Nandi is sitting on a stone stage overlooking the temple. Beautiful garden maintained by the temple authority on the east side of the temple well protected and nominal fees to enter inside.

    The Lord Shiva's mandir is now exploited by druggy, Smokers, Gamblers and this social problem is created by the neighbour community.
