I couldn't find anyone locally to restring my late grandmother's pearls, so I called and spoke to Rich himself. It was apparent immediately that I'd found my jeweler. I shipped the pearls and received a call from Jessica the very next day upon receipt. She spent more time talking to me about the precious heirloom and emailed an estimate of price options (as some orphaned earrings were also included). Rich Custom Jewelry estimates 2-3 weeks to complete this kind of work, but they did it for me in just two, so I'd have them to give to my mother in time for a wedding. Jessica texted me photos of the restrung pearls. They're on their way home, and I am beyond delighted. Grandma's spirit is smiling, and my mother will be soon too. Highly recommended!

I have been going to Rich’s since moving to Las Vegas in 2017. A few repairs, watch batteries, and Aaron even re-built a Movado watch for me (extremely reasonable). I recently got engaged and wanted a custom ring made, using my Mother’s solitaire brilliant cut Diamond. Ben and Aaron worked with me to create a unique design, incorporating Opal in the band. They made a wax design with a 3-D printer and after a couple of tweaks I had just what I wanted. Ben carefully set the center diamond, surrounding stones and Opal inlay into the platinum band. It turned out better than I imagined and was even done almost 2 weeks early! For all of the custom work, the pricing was reasonable. Photo speaks for itself!

This place is a great example of excellent customer service. The first time I went in, I needed my watch adjusted, but didn’t have the pieces needed. They couldn’t do the work without the pieces, but rather than just send me on my way, the person helping me took the time to look up where I could get it done without the pieces. I ended up finding the pieces and went back. They made the adjustment on the spot. This was a low price service, but they did the service with enthusiasm. Always good to see a business that takes customer service seriously.

We didn’t have a lot of time and our weekly schedule was crunched but Aaron met with us throughout the entire process and’s worked with us within our schedule. I picked up my custom designed ring last week and still can't believe how beautiful it is. We started with my 42 year old wedding band and diamond which I have not even been able to wear for decades. I brought these along with some pictures of design ideas that I found on pinterest and google. Jessie was great to work with and brought it artfully to life with absolutely flawless execution. I also brought in my old unwanted gold, silver, and diamond jewelry and feel that I was given very fair value for it in trade. A little pricey, but the unique pieces and customer service from Dan (I believe his name was) made it worth the purchase. Dan was helpful, patient and knowledgeable about all things jewelry. The pickup however was with a different person and was kind of stale like “thanks”. It kind of felt like we got your money, so “byeee”.

I took my watch in to get it looked at, and it turns out it just needed a battery. Rich custom jewelry did a great job in getting my watch working and they cleaned it up as well. They were very courteous and helpful. Would definitely do business with them again.

Just want to say, I was very satisfied with my ring that I had size they left the back of it, just as thick as when I brought it in I will be bringing more business to them. I had them make a wedding ring for me. It was such a wonderful experience all the way through the process. They really listen to what I wanted for the design…but when I was not 100% sure they offered some great artistic suggestions. The staff are super helpful, kind, and dedicated to getting you what you want. I had a few changes after I saw the wax molds and they were so receptive to what I wanted and even called to clarify some of the notes they took when I was there in person. I am so happy with my ring that we are getting my husband a ring made there too. I had a beautiful princes cut diamond wedding ring and 2 x smaller diamonds were falling out and I was scared to even wear my ring because I was worried more would fall out. Per a friend’s recommendation, I brought my ring in to Rich’s. I knew myself it was because of the type of setting. So it was decided to re-do my ring almost exactly except a little thicker with more gold in between the rows of smaller diamonds on the side. Brought in some jewelry that I never wear which was credited towards the work for a huge savings. Today I picked up my ring and be any happier. It is absolutely Gorgeous. I don’t write many reviews but this one is much deserving. I am super grateful to have stumbled upon Rich and Aaron. Here is my story: I bought a loose diamond online and had a beautiful ring setting custom made for me overseas. I was so excited to have my diamond set. I did a quick search on Yelp the second I received it and was so happy that a local jeweler (Jeweler A) nearby could set it for $100 and it would be done a few days later. I went to Jeweler A and found out that, unfortunately for me, the hidden halo was made over 1mm too short in length. My diamond wouldn’t fit. They said the only way for it to work is if they ordered a new head for around $400-500 and my halo would be gone also. The owner’s nephew told me that his uncle had 15 years of experience and to trust him. I left the store to get some more opinions. Jeweler B told me that if someone said they can get the diamond to fit, they are going to mess up the ring and it wouldn’t look good. I think they quoted me around $900 for a new head with hidden halo. Jeweler C.. these women were not very kind. They told me, “This is why you buy local.” “There is no way to make this work. It is never going to fit.” “Look at these plain settings you can get for $400.” (Btw, my setting cost half of that and had lots of details with hidden stones.) “To get a new setting made exactly the same will cost you around $2000, but it is an investment that will last you forever.”I walked out and went to my new appointment at Rich’s Custom Jewelry. At this point I just lost all hope. I have already accepted the worst. I knew the diamond wouldn’t fit. I knew I would be spending a lot of money. I knew the head would probably need to be replaced or I would have to buy a new setting. Rich’s shop was the smallest out of all of them. I sat down and spoke with Aaron and was not excited about my ring anymore. I kind of was just in a terrible, disappointing mood. Aaron stepped in the back to talk to Rich about it and he comes back and says, “If there’s a will…” and told me that for around $500 they can set MY diamond into MY setting by shaving off some of the gold on the inside of the halo and adding gold on the prongs so that it would fit around the stone properly. I was so thrilled. It was the best answer/solution I had. I jumped at it and he told me it would be done in 2-3 weeks. I honestly didn’t have much faith in the process. I kept thinking my ring was going to look weird when I picked it up. I was sooo happy when I received a text ONE WEEK later telling me my ring was done. I made the next appointment and drove straight there to pick it up. It was BEAUTIFUL! The ring looks so perfect. You cannot tell that any extra work was done to the ring. Rich stepped out to talk to me and told me that it wasn’t easy and he wouldn’t allow an apprentice to do it. Only himself. OMG, I am so happy! Please trust Rich with your jewelry. I would highly recommend him and will continue trusting them to service my jewelry. They did the impossible. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Went in for a simple leather necklace for a pendant I got as a gift. It was really well priced. It broke so I took it back. They repaired for free with no questions asked. Almost felt guilty paying so little and taking up so much time. Super nice staff. If I needed/wore a lot of jewelry, I'd be a much more regular customer. Will definitely be back when I need something just to support a small, local business with awesome people.

I love love love coming into Rich Custom Jewelry. I stumbled into the shop about 7 years ago while my roommate was shopping at Smiths next door. I though, oh how cute is his stuff. Come to find out, I’m actually chatting with Rich himself. He starts talking about how he made this and that… pretty much everything in the display cases. I was like, oh gosh, I have all this jewelry from my mother and grand mother that needs repairing. He’s like, oh yeah, we can take care of all of that. Since then I’ve popped in and out all the time for anything and nothing at all. The employees pretty much know me by name as I them. I look at all of them like his kids. One big happy family. I drop off pieces to be worked on all the time and trust that they are in the best hands possible, my family. I always get so excited to bring in my friends and hope that they can develop the same relationship I have with them.

I’ve had a great experience here! After I got engaged I brought my rings here to be resized. I have a vintage set and they restored both bands back to perfect condition. I had my bands fused together as well and it came out looking fantastic. Everyone one who works here is incredibly friendly and helpful!

Rich’s helped me remove a stone from my father in law’s Westpoint class ring, so that it could be sent in to their ring melt program to make the next class’s rings. The jeweler then set the stone in a pendant for me, which is a memorial piece. I really appreciated their work!

I was looking for a custom jewelry maker since I loved the wedding ring my wife bought for me and its unique style. I wanted to have an exact copy of the ring made in platinum or gold because my ring was in stainless steel. Rich and Aaron were amazing to work with and they ended up making a perfect copy of the ring. I decided to get both gold and platinum versions made because of their reasonable prices. They have a combination of master goldsmith skills aided by new technology such as a 3D printer which was needed in this style of ring. Thank you Rich and Aaron.
