Nice "upscale" diner with lots of unique food options! I got the luau burger, which was very delicious and filled with good toppings! We got the brussel sprouts as an appetizer - I think they could have used a little more seasoning, but they were very good. And the service was great and friendly! Overall, we had a very good experience and I'd definitely recommend it.

Silver Diner was absolutely amazing! If you are in need of a solid breakfast, or even dinner this is where you need to come. Service was great and food came out hot not too long after placing our order. Price was above average for breakfast but you will not be upset. I highly recommend, we will come back in the future. This was my first time in and the the atmosphere is very friendly and inviting as we were immediately greeted and offered seating. The staff was organized and the menu was diverse with traditional diner food and healthy options with delicious twists. I had Oatmeal milk pancakes with fresh blueberries that had 40 grams of protein and this was absolutely delicious. The prices were reasonable, portions generous, and they take both cash and credit.

I did not realize that I didn't have a review for this place! I come here for all. Breakfast is eclectic and vibrant. Chicken and Waffles. Bison. All good! Their Turkey Dinner is amazing. Today, I had their Lamb Meatballs. It was popping with flavor, textures and crunches. It all worked in a very diverse way. I'm not a fan of cooked spinach at all. I like it fresh and raw. But, I did eat half of it with all of the different sauces and toppings. Not bad. Finished it off with a slice of Carrot Cake. The pineapple made it even better. Absolutely loved it. You can't miss trying this place!

This was first time ordering from Silver Diner. The food was great and worthy of 5 stars except for the fact I found a piece of aluminum foil in my grit's. So 4 stars it is.

I've been searching long and hard for a place like Mel's from California and this place has a similar feel to it! I ordered their Bay Benedict and my fiance got a BYOB (build your own burger) with sweet potato fries. Food came out pretty quickly and was delicious! We finished our plates completely. The only issue was that our milkshake didn't come out until after my fiance finished his food. Turns out, they didn't have anyone making the milkshakes, so our waiter had to quickly make it himself. Overall, we would definitely be back to try out other items on their expansive menu.

I usually love the Silver Diner but unfortunately this visit left much to be desired. My first chicken noodle soup was cold as if the warmer was not on. Second one came out and it was lukewarm and as you can see so basically the broth than anything else. My ginger ale was basically a cup FULL of ice. Which I had to ask for another one with little ice. When my food came out (Fish and Chips) it was barely lukewarm as well. It wasn't that busy so I'm not sure what happened but the rest of my family's entrees were fine. Good thing is a manager came by and we informed him that the state of my food and QUICKLY apologized and said he would make it right. My replacement entree was quickly brought out and was hot and what I have already come to expect from this wonderful franchise. Began poorly but was quickly rectified.

The burger was good; the fries were not good, but the service was excellent, so it made up for it. Fries at McDonald’s were better. Being from Jersey, we have diners all over, so I will do that; it may not beat our diners. It is suitable for the area.

6/9/22 Came to visit Maryland for a graduation. Ordered the crab cakes and they were great. Cooked to order, full of crab and little filler. Ordered the sweet potato fries and a strawberry lemon drop which was nice. Waitress and staff was very friendly. Would definitely return.

Silver diner was a pleasant experience, we were greeted right away and sat immediately. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was real good and a pleasant change from my normal food. If you're in the area definitely check them out.

Tasty breakfast, friendly service, just a little pricey for what it is. We had a group of 6 stop in for brunch on a Sunday morning in June of 2023. Service was friendly and fast, food was good and the mimosas were tasty. There are a ton of seats in here, so this is a good spot if you've got a big group of folks. Depending on how hungry you are, it may be worth considering to share a breakfast entree as they do get expensive. The location is in a mall parking lot so there is plenty of parking but can also be crowded and tough to navigate during peak hours.

Food was good, not great, but I ordered the basic breakfast so it is the same most places. The place is clean and has a standard diner atmosphere. Giving a total of 4 stars because of the waitress; if not for her, I would give it 3 stars. The hostess was not great, was actually quite poor; no greeting, no smile, nothing... just asks you how many and seats you at a table with a miserable look on her face). A hostess is the first person you encounter upon entering a restaurant thus it is important they greet people and have a smile on their face regardless of how they feel. With that said, the waitress (Dena) was exceptional; she was friendly and very attentive and just did a wonderful job! Thank you.

Took the drive from Joppa to have an early Sunday morning breakfast with my wife. We were seated quickly and I ordered hash corned beef hash browns and eggs, and my wife ordered the famous shrimp and grits. My order looked over-cooked, but it was perfect. The shrimp and grits were also tasty and I was only able to steal one of her shrimps LOL. Trip was worth it when food is great.

I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere of this place but the service from the front desk to the wait staff was so bad that it turned what would have been a great meal into kinda meh after sitting at a table trying to flag someone down for a check for nearly 25 minutes. We had waited for a table for 40 minutes too on a Sunday morning, so putting those together, the place wasted nearly an hour of my life. That said, I had the grain bowl with shrimp and it was delicious. I'd eat that once a week if I could and all of the salad components were fresh and tasty. My son was super excited about getting tattoos with the kids menu and they were really cute foodie ones. His silver dollar pancake meal was extremely generous for the price. The worst part though was that after the terrible service there was no actual check. I just had a toast machine thrust at me and the waiter literally standing over me watching as I entered the tip, which started with options at 20%. It just felt like another element of poor service. I hope they change this process somehow.

It was hard to choose what to order with so many options from breakfast to dinner. Had to convince myself not to order another waffle- it was amazing! The omelette was great as well but unfortunately the bagel it came with was hard and stale.

Whaaaat I thought I’d left a review for silver diner?? I come here at least once a month because of their vegan options. Ambiance is great, service is great. If however you eat vegan/plant-based and you’re looking for really delicious and unique dishes that still have that classic American diner to boot… this place is kick bum!

I'd been here once before with a friend nearly two years ago, and wasn't impressed. Nothing crazy bad, just not anything to come back to. This time, though, the food was fantastic along with the service (which to be fair was great last time as well), and I've already told some friends that we're coming back!

Keisha gave absolutely incredible service. She is so nice and sweet and gave fabulous recommendations. She even joked with me and checked in on me throughout the hour I was here— her personality is truly infectious. I will absolutely return back next time im in Baltimore. I got the vegan egg Benedict (rec from Keisha- absolutely divine & a cold brew with almond coconut whip cream - again, absolutely delicious).

I like this place!👍🏾👍🏾 It's a Silver Diner 2.0 which has a different color scheme and theme than the Classic Silver Diner (No table🎙️ jukeboxes📻). Still has that classic vibe and feel with more of an evening dining establishment. Everything was so good! We have Vegan and GF requirements and this place was on point. They ordered the Just Egg Benedict and one Oat Pancake because they couldn’t choose and the Lumberjack breakfast with a sub of GF French Toast. Tons of options for those in our party with dietary requirements as well as those who did not. Sorry the photos were after we started eating! Chicken and Waffles with hot honey as well as Apple Pie stuffed French toast. Service was fast and so friendly! We will be back for sure when visiting the area. So hard to find something for everyone and this place did not disappoint!

I’m so sad I don’t have any Silver Diners near my house. Silver Diner was one of the first diners I’ve been to that have vegan options, which was a huge plus for my family and me! When we first sat down, we were distracted by the mini Jukebox system at the table. We all took turns choosing the songs that we wanted to hear play. Unfortunately, before we had to leave, we didn’t hear any of our songs but it was still a cool experience to be able to see all of their choices throughout the Jukebox! Our waitress was very friendly and attentive! She was kind to talk to. The vegan option we ordered was the Meatless Tacos! My family devoured them! Lol If I ever see a Silver Diner again, I’m definitely stopping in!

"My first time here and I have to say, I was very impressed! The watermelon cucumber mint spritzer was so delicious and refreshing! It's a much try! For breakfast, I ordered the Cheddar Jack Omelet stuffed with ham, fresh spinach and tomato. By the way, I had to add a little bit of Tabasco Sauce to spice it up! It did not disappoint. Unfortunately, I need to give them 4.5 on my meal because the biscuit was too hard. But I really did not need it because I had one tasty, fluffy pancake. The service was outstanding and the food came out quick and it was hot!!. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I had to go to the mall afterward to walk off the food. I will definitely be back to try more items on the menu!"

My experience at Silver Diner on 10/8/23 was excellent , great, atmosphere, food was awesome and our server Seamus was polite, very detail and very nice to engage during our lunch time! I will definitely recommend you will love the food choices!

I found Silver Diner looking for breakfast. Order the Challah Bread French-toast. It was a great choice. Get the Real Maple Syrup in the little personal bottle. Then I went back for lunch and had the Crab Cake sandwich with Chicken Salad and fries. I was feeling kinda hungry. Everything was good and tasty. The service was very friendly.

This place is awesome-every single time. They have an option for any diet and the food is fresh and delicious. The service is usually great, but always okay. I tried the dairy free grasshopper shake (small size) for the first time tonight and it was delicious and reasonably priced. I cannot recommend this restaurant more highly.

Absolutely love this place! It has a super fun 50’s diner vibe and the food has always been amazing! They’re one of the only places I’ve found with so many great vegan options, especially for breakfast (that they offer all day). I am completely obsessed with their Just Egg Breakfast Tacos! They come completely loaded up and the flavor is insane!! They also have plant based milkshakes, another thing I rarely find anywhere else, and they are delicious!! Can’t recommend this place enough!

On my way home from New Jersey, I looked for a place to eat in Maryland (we stopped here overnight). I’m glad that I found Silver Diner especially because they have a really good vegan menu! 🌱 The service, particularly Jason, was fabulous. He was attentive, funny and friendly. I had the meatless tacos which were outstanding! I also had THAI CAULIFLOWER QUINOA PASTA which was good as well! An authentically wonderful experience. Thank you’all!

Clean, neat,smells good, calm place to dine in. Super nice waiter Chris. Service was so good. Burgers - so big and good enough for a grown adult and so good. Must try - Brussels sprouts, chunky monkey.
