One of my favorite supermarkets. I first saw a HT when I lived in Charlotte, NC. I’m so glad we have a HT here in Laurel- produce, seafood and everything is always fresh. I notice I have to get here super early if I want wingettes but, that’s fine by me the earlier the better! They also have a Starbucks inside!

This store rocks! Always clean and always welcomed. I go quite often to this location but this was my first time getting a cake. Due to a impromptu party, I needed a cake for a very important person but all the cakes that were out were not really in line with the idea of throwing a party for him. These two ladies came over, asked what was the event, asked if they could help, and prepared of the cakes with writing for me in a matter of hours to match the theme. Not only did the party go on without a hitch, but everyone loved the cake!!! This is literally what it means to go above and beyond for your customers. I will never stop recommending or going to this Harris Teeter. Thank you so much for everything!

Food quality an on going issue Purchase chibatta bread from the baked goods section on wed. The next day discovered significant mold on bread. Had not even opened the package. Mold was visible through the package. I had to go back to return the item. I do not a replacement There is a continual issue with quality of food. Previous had to return guacamole that was black on top. I have never experienced this problem with any other grocery. Not sure if it is the location or the overall brand Why does a customer have to verify the food quality as a health issue Check your food carefully Verify Price paid vs price on shelf

I was so happy a Harris teeter came to Laurel. However my excitement was for naught. This is the worse Harris teeter in all of Maryland. Corporate Needs to audit Management. The managers have no idea how to manage this store based on Harris teeters core values. Each time I shop here, I need a manager for the most simplest reasons. I have done the same transaction at other Harris teeters and have no issues. Driving the extra miles north is definitely worth it!

Yesss, seafood/produce department is my favorite! The food is always fresh! Michael in the seafood department was very helpful when I was picking up crab legs for my birthday! They were nice size and sweet tasting after I seamed cooked them! Sorry I did not take a pic before eating them.

I usually go here for the cheese bar. I went to grab a quick desert for thanksgiving & this cake instantly caught my eye. Sarah the Baker had mentioned she created this custom cape and the person who ordered never came to pick it up. Not only did it look amazing, but it tasted good as well!

Even better than I imagined. I had heard these were nice. Very good selection of specialty products and good prices on things you need every day. The lighting in this store is even worth mentioning. Energy saving, yet bright and inviting. Prepared foods sections are the best in the industry.

The pharmacy here is simply the most professional, kind, thoughtful and helpful group of folks. The pharmacist is amazing, and gives 100% queen energy and I live for it. You can also tell that everything is well organized; and well run. I don’t “shop” at Harris, but I get my meds from here and I wouldn’t dare go anywhere else in the Laurel area. Just amazing.

Let me just say, I have had a terrible experience with both Jay & Paul the store managers mainly Jay. God forbid a cart hits your car that rolled off the sidewalk it’s your fault. They have done nothing to update me on my situation since the accident and it required me to make multiple attempts to call the store and their insurance company to get information on my vehicle being fixed. Their insurance company took two weeks before they reached out to me personally. Then after a seventh attempt to reach out to them again in person I was confronted by a rude and disgruntled manager Jay. District manager or whomever he is who was unhappy with me in general because of my multiple attempts. He proceeded to cut me off and told me repeatedly that this has nothing to do with him and to call the insurance company myself. Do not cut me off. That’s rude. How are you even working in customer service? Why should I reach out to your insurance company when my vehicle was damaged on your property? He continued to speak over me saying he has no control over customers leaving their carts everywhere! A customer did not have it! It flew from the cart pickup from the top of the hill!! I was in my car when the accident occurred! I wouldn’t be as upset and distraught if I was being taken care of in a respectful manner. How do you do this to people? Then you relay to your staff to no longer reach out to me regarding the status of my claim? Don’t worry I’ll make sure that corporate hears about this too. How can you not accept accountability for this? Why is there no one in charge of carts and properly placing them where they are supposed to be? Now I have damaged to my back bumper who’s going to fix that? I will be reaching out to an attorney! My vehicle will get fixed one way or another whether it be Sedgwick or Harris Teeter.

Meats and produce are always fresh, staff is pleasantly helpful. I experienced my 1st Harris Teeter in 2002, Greensboro, NC.

I had a pleasant experience...the lady at the pizza stand was very nice and professional, the store is also very neat and the staff are very friendly. I will be visiting again. Thank you.

Loved this HT when I could go in, but now that I am injured, I must say their grocery pickup is pretty bad. The last two times I’ve done it I’ve sat in my car for 30-45 minutes, and they often don’t bother to substitute for something similar if something is out. They also seem to ignore the app “I’m on my way” and “I’m here” functions. I do like the store inside though — a good selection for the most part, although their international food aisle could have more options.

Don’t understand why the lines are always long on the weekdays. It’s really annoying this seems like it’s becoming the new norm.

Always friendly staff. The location is clean and well organized. The cashier ringing me out on multiple occasions have taken the time to bag the items in an organized way with all cold or frozen items in the same bag(s). Very thoughtful.

This place is like heaven. Well maybe not. But its amazing. You got almost everything you need. Including Starbucks! Fresh food always. Produce is always fresh. And they have sweet deals in every week. Sign up for a card and have a visit if you haven't been yet. Love it!

I went in on 7/19 to switch my prescriptions to this location and have them filled. While doing this Marina blurted out the name of my medication Loudly for all to hear. I called corporate to report her for violating my privacy. The store manager called to apologize and I was grateful he did that. Today on 7/20 I called to see if my prescription was ready. Well guess what, they never even filled it. So if you want things done right go to Harris teeter in Gaithersburg where this has never happened. She was so concerned about blurting out my condition she didn’t even do her job and fill my meds that I desperately need. It was a very embarrassing and condescending experience.

This place is great. I really like all the cashiers, including Laurinda. It’s clean and well stocked. It does get really busy on the weekends, so plan to grab a shopping cart from the parking lot.

Need to find a new grocery store in Laurel. With the prices indicative of a Harris Teeter you would think they can afford cashiers. Many times over the past month there have been zero cashiers. It’s ok to do self check out with a few items but not full basket. Where is the manager? Perhaps they should be checking out customers if staff can’t manage to come to work.

Better choices than the local competition but the customer service of many of the employees and management has taken a dive since the pandemic. It's unfortunate. Some of the people are just not as nice as they used to be. Pharmacy manager and Deli is awesome.

Always will go here to shop for groceries. Harris Teeter has the best diet cola. A popular youtuber who is addicted to diet coke said this as well. I even tried it to confirm. A 2 Liter store branded diet cola for under 80 cents beats any diet cola. That's why it was out of stock the next time I came there 😭. Buying store branded items usually has the same if not better quality than popular branded items by the way. Plus, you end up saving MONEY. You can also get the store card and save even more. I will shill and be a regular customer as long as nothing changes here (excluding improvements if there even is a way for that to happen)

Will in the Bakery Department just made my day even brighter! I always prefer grocery shopping at Harris Teeter, the great meat selections, the variety but the customer service from their associates exceeded my expectations. Thank You Will

My go to place for fresh pizza until today. Because as of lately things just keep going wrong. Today I waited close to 45 minutes for a burnt pizza because the associate prioritized filling the display over filling a customer's order all that while I was standing right in front of him. Sadly only 2 ladies at that store are able to make delicious pizzas and anyone else is a gamble.

Went to the pharmacy for my Covid vaccine. Superb experience. Scheduled on line and had a previous shot at another Harris Teeter. They had all my information so signing in was a breeze. I did my usual, showed up 15 minutes before my appointment. I did not get the usual “you are early, have a seat” I was processed quickly despite the fact that they had other customers. After processing, I was told to go sit down and wait for my shot. I had barely opened my email account on my iPhone when a very pleasant pharmacist gave me the vaccine. Beautiful clean store , by the way. I did some shopping and was out to my car before my appointed time for the vaccine

Harris Teeter always has what I need! 👏🏻 I’m so used to Safeway always being out of every item I’m looking for — I forgot that some groceries actually keep items in stock!! I’m also impressed with the gluten free options 😄

Hi my name is Camille and I visited this Harris Teeter on Sunday at approximately 11:30am. I had a long morning and was really frustrated and running behind for an event where I had to pick up food. This particular store did not have the items that I was looking for and I became frustrated. I went to the Deli to ask the young man if he could assist me in purchasing another item and he tried his best to take care of me as a customer. Then, a beautiful and friendly young lady came to me to ask if I needed anything or is there something she could do to help me in my journey. I have to be honest I was really aggravated by this point and she gave me so many options but at this point I was at my wits end. She then offered to bring some fresh chicken for my event instead of the item which was not available. Two minutes later she came back with the chicken and a smile that was so salubrious that it made me forget my frustrations. This woman really tried her best to fulfill my needs and request all while maintaining one of the most professional demeanors that I have ever encountered in my life. This exceptional woman's name is Dora. I do not know if this review will touch the right hands of her leader, but she should be recognized for her ability to remain calm, diligent and professional. I just really wanted to let the managers know of this establishment that Dora is outstanding and incredible! Thank you, Dora, for leading by example and helping your customers fulfill their needs! The food was lovely, and my event went well all because of her extra effort!! FIVE STARS!

I like Harris Teeters when I am looking for something less traditional in a grocery store. I love their cheese section There are so many types. There are many selections of ready-made pre-cooked foods in the glass doors sections that are convenient for lunch or dinner. Starbucks is inside also. I use the gift cards that many jobs and friends may give to get coffee and a biscuit or bun. There is always around if you need help or need to know where things are. Always polite.

Hate/Love relationship. I love the sushi. Always have fresh, pretty flowers. Directly across the street from my house. Butttt.....they always have super long lines. Not enough staff working lines, and the ones that are working, are super slow. Expect to be in line minimum 20 mins. Definitely not an in/out situation. Most times I'll drive the extra minute to Giant for lower prices and faster service!

  • 2/5 Ryan M. 1 year ago on Google
Selection of produce is decent but the shelves are frequently empty. But holy eff yo. Plan on on waiting in line to check out for at least 20 minutes. I've never been here and seen more than two cashiers working at once. Even if the lines are all the way to the back of the store they don't bring up more cashiers to help. Never seen anything like it

This is the best grocery store in Laurel. I used to go to Wal Mart and Giant for my groceries but after suffering bad experiences with poor produce, out of stock issues, rude staff, taking forever to check out and some sketchy experiences I had enough. Coming to Harris teeter was like a breath of fresh air. Everyone was sooooo friendly and helpful. The store is clean! And the produce is so fresh. They had a great variety of items as well. The checkout was done very well, everything bagged according to where it would go in my home, such a nice touch. Didn’t mind waiting extra for that. Amber over at the pizza stall insisted on making a great pizza for us instead of going home and heating up a frozen one like we were planning to do. Saves time and money. Great place, keep it up!

I didn’t have my ID code to leave a review online, but I do want to say Nolan one of the managers on duty today was very helpful and polite. He showed the type customer service that employees should have, big shout out to him!

Enjoy the deli and the sushi is very good! I typically come to HT when I need to pick up a few items, but would not do a full grocery trip here…mainly price and availability of some items.

Since I've named HT's bakery the best in-store bakery around, I chose to stop at the Laurel sure when I needed a bathroom break. Finding the bathrooms blocked off and a bit subbing saying the bathrooms weren't available and apologizing for the inconvenience, I was distraught enough to interrupt a meeting in the store manager's office to ask if any provisions had been made for customers needing a bathroom. The store director was nice enough to come out and first direct me to customer service then volunteered a young staffer nearby to walk me back to the employee breakroom. If only the sign in the door had directed customers to the desk or nearest associate (actually, that's a bit of a no-brainer; except when you're panicking you won't make it much further...) That done, I made a quick pass thru the store and decided to try the roast beef and fajita chicken heat-and-eat entrees in the deli; they weren't bad. It was good to see a large selection of light bulbs and a good supply of lawn and leaf bags available.
