I had an MRI scan on 29-5-23 due to a knee injury at work and I still, haven't received any update. I use a knee holder and crunches. I am unable to work, and I have no update so as to know what my next move should be. I do not know what is happening inside my knee or even, how long I should use the knee holder and crunches. I am really speechless with these extremely low quality services. If you are unlucky enough to have an accident, or, fall into their need, you are doomed. The doctor and the lady that helped me with the knee holder were very good, during my test. Even the people that helped me with the MRI were very good and helpful. However, I do not know whose responsibility the results are, but they clearly are not bothered enough. Update: I had an appointment at the 25-7-23 back with the doctor where they would explain to me what is wrong with my knee, since no one bothered to inform me about the MRI results. They called me (I think 2 days prior) to cancel it because they were protesting( ok, I support their fight.) so I asked the lady if they could simply inform me if it is something serious with my knee or, the MRI results. They connected me with the doctors secretary where she was sarcastic and unprofessional. She replied that, they do not share information on the phone because they do not know if I am the real person these results concern. I bet they could verify it by asking me my national insurance number etc, but she was not bothered enough. Anyway, I simply said thank you and hung up the phone. During my appointment with the doctor at the 15-08-2023 , he laughed and asked me why I was still using the crunches and the knee holder; of course I responded that I had no update whatsoever and I did, what you told me at the first appointment. Not to mention, I still feel pain and annoyance in my knee. He told me that I should be ok after three months (at the extent where I would not need the crunches and knee holder) and asked me if I had any physiotherapy. I said NO , NO ONE told me anything, I called many times at the secretary before, I left two voicemails with my personal info, condition, and phone number so they could call me back and no one was bothered enough to actually do it. I asked my clinic for a copy of the MRI results, recently, and saw that the MRI results were ready two weeks after the examination at 29-05-23. So basically middle of June, and I found out at the end of August.

This is a hospital where the nurses are worked like donkeys hardly no breaks lots of long hours especially on the children’s wards The matrons and band 8 ‘s don’t help the staff on the wards either This is slavery at its best Too many children per nurse where is the health and safety gone Also Bane nurses are put to work on the front lines especially during covid However when it comes to promotion they are the last to be considered it’s not what you know it’s who you know and if your the right colour you will get on at the QMC

I wish to thank you and the all the team involved with the procedures to deal with my recently diagnosed melanoma. The speed of service delivery has been astounding. I emailed my GP on 15/9/20 and received a telephone response within two hours of the email to discuss the photograph and symptoms. From then on it has been a whirlwind of appointments, discussions, initial excision/biopsy and most recently wide local excision and sentinel lymph node biopsy. All of this done within three months of me emailing my GP. The number of staff involved in looking after my care seems to be innumerable. What has remained firmly fixed in mind though, is the extreme professionalism, tender care, and general goodwill that has been shown to me throughout my journey through the system by all those involved in my treatment. My sincerest thanks and gratitude to all those involved for the skills and help that has been afforded to me. I shall be ever grateful.

Recently i visited the hospital to check my knee and I must say, I was highly impressed by the services provided. The staff was extremely helpful and professional, making sure that I was comfortable throughout the process. In particular, I would like to highlight the woman who put a hinged knee holder on me. She was very friendly and patient, addressing all my concerns regarding the procedure and making sure that I had all the necessary information. She clearly explained the usage of the knee holder and gave me some tips on how to take care of my knee during the healing process. Overall, my experience at the hospital was excellent. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the service provided was top-notch. I heartily recommend this hospital for all your healthcare needs.

I’ve just returned from the Nottingham Treatment Centre following a hysteroscopy and endometrial biopsy and felt I had to write a review on the excellent level of care I received. Although I’d like to thank Elena Voynova in particular, the whole team who looked after me were amazing, calming my nerves and making me feel like I was in very safe hands. I even had a lovely lunch! We are so lucky to have our wonderful NHS and I’d just like to let you know how very much you’re appreciated.

Attended on 18 July '23 for a post-surgery x-ray after two severe closed leg fractures and an open ankle fracture. I'm on crutches, supposed to keep my leg elevated, but had to spend 2 hours crammed into the waiting area with no room for elevation and my leg getting gradually more painful. I got seen - 45 minutes late - only to find the radiographer could barely speak a word of English. Got sent back to Gateway B reception where a nurse announced "You're now in the clinic with the biggest wait." I looked around - not one free seat anywhere in Gateway B. Literally not one - some people were even sitting on the stairs and others were perched on plant pots... Yet this is a fracture clinic! Due to the increasing pain I was not prepared to stand around on my crutches for another hour (or more) and so I left. The following morning my leg was almost covered in an entire bruise, presumably due to the deceased blood flow for 1-2 hours. This level of NHS aftercare is what I get for 20+ years of being a taxpayer? Sadly shameful. Update: Returned 1 August for another appointment at 9am. Barely any seats upon arrival (many taken up by accompanying friends and family who should really have been sitting elsewhere) and this time I waited 45 minutes before giving up and leaving. Everyone who arrived after me got called in while I sat there with no clue as to the wait time or hold up. The revenue clearly comes from the car park fees and the internal coffee shop, which I note has more room than the clinic waiting areas. Whoever runs this place should be sacked.

All 5 stars are awarded for the care received today by Dr Nicholas Raine-Fenning when I was planned to have my endometrioma removed. I have had many medical professionals involved in my journey since being diagnosed with endometriosis in 2019 and until now, no Dr has ever shown such compassion, care and empathy as he Dr did today. In fact, I have had such an awful experience with NHS; taking over 10 years to diagnose the condition and incorrectly diagnosing IBS, incorrect information being given about our IVF options and today being referred for the wrong surgery by the fertility unit at QMC! I waited 7 months for today, to find out I had been sent somewhere that just wasn't the right place for me at all and my surgery was cancelled. This Dr and his team had realised there had been errors in the referral being made to them and he addressed this with total professionalism. This Dr is the most incredible person I have ever come across in the NHS. I truly felt that he cared about mistakes that had been made and he wanted to put things right for me. He listened, his reassurance was genuine and he knew what he was talking about. A true expert and I will never forget the time he had for me . He is the first person to consider the bigger picture and what I have been through rather than just my appointment today and for that I will be forever grateful to him. Thank you so much.

Outstanding! My GP had 'phoned me, a day after I'd had some blood tests. She was concerned about one result and she rang a doctor at QMC Treatment Centre. He rang me about half an hour later! He made me an appointment to see him the following day. Once there, he was friendly, very polite, caring and attentive. He examined me, asked lots of questions, then got 2 Consultants to see me. I was examined by both, who were also very informative and efficient. I was then told to go downstairs for blood tests, then back upstairs for a chest x-ray. The original doctor rang me and asked to see me, before allowing me to go home, with a treatment plan. A fantastic service.

Fantastic staff at the fracture clinic. Seems a lot of people need this service. Both visits I have been in and out a lot faster than I thought I would be. Excellent treatment.

Went to the blood testing department after being told I needed one pre op. I was number 78 and they were currently seeing patient number 41. The clinic was packed, and nobody was adhering to the seating plan to enable social distancing which made me feel very unsafe. Each number counted down by two every half an hour which worked out that I would need to be there for many hours so I gave up and left. Appalling service and QMC you need to police the clinic as people were ignoring the seating!!

Just had another delivery from the lovely Chris with my controlled medications. It’s taken such a weight off being able to have them delivered as I live a good 1.5hours away and the journey is killer for me! Fantastic service and so appreciative

Have been going to the centre for years, not as good as when it was the Circle but I still rate it highly. I have osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis and my treatments are very good. The QVC could learn a lot from the way that the Circle was run.

Appointments here are never kept by them, doctors don't bother turning up to clinic, considered normal to be kept waiting hours, place is always very overcrowded, nowhere to sit. Absolutely dreadful place for anyone with anxiety, badly managed, zero support available. Wasted my time too many times going to this place, unless you don't mind standing around for hours being ignored then avoid at all costs

Best place I have been treated at. Staff are helpful. Very organized treatment centre. Bright and airy. Lifts roomy. Cleaning was well done. Not a long wait to be seen. Equipment was modern and staff well informed. Always treated kindly. Never stressful as each time I've attended standards were excellent.

I had my first ever operation at the Treatment Centre on the 26th September. The staff were so kind, calm and caring. The theatre staff were brilliant . I couldn't have asked for better treatment.

Went in for follow up procedure for skin cancer. Staff were, reassuring, empathic and knowledgeable. I was dreading the thought of having a skin graft. Due to the expertise of the surgeon and the helpful team this wasn't necessary. Thank you so much.

Personally no complaints, as a patient around 2017. Nice, modern building. Doc had a good educational chat to his staff while I had a tube down my throat, which was weird but I guess that's how they learn. Parking isn't free.

Just returned from shoulder replacement surgery at the treatment centre. This is the 2nd time I've been for surgery here but the first time I've had to stay in overnight. Feel it's only right to leave a review as the NHS seems to get a lot of bad press, I cannot speak highly enough of all the staff that looked after me on both occasions. Yes its always a hard time getting appointments and consultations but when you finally get to the hospital all the staff are marvellous. The treatment centre is kept immaculate and the care is better than a private hospital, (yes I've been there too). From the welcoming nurses, to the anesthetist nurses, surgery room staff, ward staff and everyone else I may have missed, thank you for everything, you all do a wonderful job and work so hard.

Had gallbladder removed on Saturday..took me 26 years to pluck up the courage to have it removed..my nurse helped me relax and spoke to the anethastist and told her how nervous I was. All the staff kept an eye on me without intruding in my space. The whole team were caring and very professional. They knew I needed assistance before I did. They were quick to react and I didnt need to use the call button. All staff were supportive and caring. Couldn't have done more for me..I felt totally safe in their hands...really hard as I'm fiercely independent, to hand myself over totally to strangers to take care of me. You are all a credit to your profession.

Friendly efficient staff. An example for other organizations not just other parts of the NHS on how to operate (no pun intended)

Absolutely despise this place. You are booked in for an appointment and every single time you turn up they’re running 30, 40, 60 minutes late. Should be 1 hour, ends up taking the whole day. Today was 40 minutes, which turned into 60. Another hour for the infusion - day out after absolutely ruined.
