Come for the ambiance! If you love Elvis, you have to eat here! The ribs and shrimp were amazing. Also the burgundy mushrooms were delicious. I came here as a single woman alone during a layover and totally felt safe. Also the attached gift shop was convenient and priced reasonably.

Better than going to Graceland. Especially when it comes to the food. Their specialty is Ribs and seriously they were cooked yesterday. At least they put them in the smoker yesterday for them to be ready by 4 pm today when they open. (Don’t come here for lunch). Should fed were pretty good and the banana donut ice cream peanut butter whipped cream concoction for desert is a heart attack in itself. Plan on sharing that with a friend. And what other restaurant in Memphis has their own pink limousines? Worth parking at a nearby hotel just for the free limo ride. Great service by Hallie tonight. Enjoy.

We wrapped up our Elvis-themed weekend with dinner here on Sunday night. The parking lot was nearly full and so was the bar inside, but the restaurant itself had plenty of open tables. We were seated quickly, and our food was served very quickly by a very friendly server as well. I ordered the BBQ chicken with corn fritters and Cole slaw. Fried okra was brought by mistake but quickly replaced. The okra was good, albeit not my thing in general - my friend thought it was bland and needed more salt. The cole slaw was generic and good. The corn fritters were the star of the sides! Well fried and sweet to bite into on the inside. I would love to eat those again. The dinner roll is also worth mentioning - I think it was fried, but whatever they did, it was seriously delicious. I'd ask for an extra next time. The chicken itself was perfect - practically falling off the bone after a long smoke, it was flavorful and nevertheless enhanced by the BBQ sauce (I asked for extra and then bought a bottle on my way out. Yum!) My friend ordered the brisket and ribs combo after the server told her they were the restaurants most popular meats. She ate all of both, which I understand to mean both were good! She was underwhelmed by her sides (she also got French fries which were cooked well but just basic), but totally charmed by the gift shop, and its fair to say we both left stuffed and happy. I paid about $20 for my meal (with a soda), which I thought was reasonable and on par with other meals on this vacation. I'd eat here again!

Tonight we were fortunate enough to find ourselves at Marlowes right up the street from Graceland. We met Mike third generation family ownership, he graciously gave us some history and a bit of his time sharing his passion for the restaurant ,food and local history of course including Elvis. Our server “V” was friendly and upbeat and also seemed to really love her work, fast and efficient as well! My brisket was probably the best I have had in all my 59 years and my wife’s burger her personal favorite was flawlessly prepared. Drinks in abundance and I have to mention the Banana foster fried donut ice cream dessert it was out of this world! These are great people serving great food in a great location! Support the locals! The restaurant also had a very interesting gift shop my wife loved make sure and stop in highly recommended!!!!

Best ribs I’ve ever had! Like fall off the bone, melt in your mouth divine! Brisket and other sides are pretty amazeballs too. Customer service is fantastic and the vibe is nice and laid back. There’s so many great menu options you can’t go wrong. Just save room for desert. The apple pie is to die for

The food, atmosphere and service were great! My wife and I got picked up for dinner in the pink Cadillac Limousine which was at no extra charge . We both had the beef brisket, beans, and cothessaw. It had a great smoke taste, with just a light coating of sauce. It was tender and delicious. I had the apple pie with ice cream for dessert. It was served warm and tasted like it just came out of the oven. My wife had chocolate brownie with ice cream that was also served warm. She thought it was delicious. Our server Lisa, was friendly and attentive we could not have asked for a better experience. We also spent some time after eating to check out all the Elvis items, than we got returned to our hotel by the Limousine. The best part was this was all enjoyed for around $65.00

The gentleman running the gift shop was a Gem(was once the owner) and the staff was so pleasant! The Cicken fingers were great! The half rack of ribs were just a little to smokey for my taste. The Cole slaw was delicious though! Our pink limo driver was very pleasant as well! Glad we ate here during our stay in Memphis!

This place was incredible. The waitress V was outstanding and the food ooooommmggg. You won't be disappointed, trust me! Get the Ribs...you'll thank me later! Was staying at the Guest House @ Graceland. The restaurant will pink you up and drop you off in a Pink Cadillac.

Tonight was a wonderful experience. I was able to meet a member of the family that owns the restaurant. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He was accommodating and even told me Elvis stories while there. He opened up the “Elvis Room” so that I could see all of the cool memorabilia. They have some of the best BBQ that I have tasted while here visiting in Memphis!

When I entered the establishment no one was at the hostess desk. Then a young lady appeared and asked I did I want. Even with that, I was there for market research so I was seated and ordered my food. The server did a good of getting my order and being patient for my choice. The food was delicious, the brisket was tender and the sauce was tasty. My job as a Travel Agent is to share my experiences with my clients and customers.

Loved the food, establishment and limo service from hotel to restaurant and back. We tried appetizers (smoked Gouda excellent). Rack of ribs for two, brisket and pulled pork melt in your mouth goodness. We even splurged on dessert, shared of course, bananas foster. Delicious. Yum

Marlowe's is the absolute best place to eat at in Memphis. We went there back in March. I had the Ribs and they were truly the best ribs I've ever had in my life! That's no joke! Being an Elvis fan I wanted to visit one of Elvis's favorite places and so glad I did. My Husband and I talk about going back to Marlowe's all the time. And we always highly recommend it to our friends if they ever visit Memphis. Can't wait to go back there someday. The ride in the pink limo from the Guesthouse was the best and our driver was so awesome and hysterically funny! He kept us entertained. The giftshop is pretty awesome as well! I could probably go on and on with this review but seriously it's the best. Try it! You won't be disappointed!

Excellent bbq. I got brisket and ribs combo. They use red cabbage for their creamy coleslaw so it turns pink... still tastes great. Their mushrooms are a bit heavy on the gravy sauce. I highly recommend coming here. The ambience is incredible. Don't leave without a souvenir coin or other item from the gift shop. The waiters and waitresses are nice. I wish they had large slices of cornbread and some 'lighter" menu items.

The place was packed a very good sign. Sat at the bar it was so packed. Homie comfortable atmosphere. Good place to go after a work day, eat and unwind. The ribs (melted off the bone), fries where delicious and the coleslaw was perfect. Blue Hawaiian on the side. There are many many other sides of choice for the meal if you preferred something different, green beans, baked potato, baked beans, mac and cheese, okra and several others. Made a good relaxing evening and satisfied tummy and taste buds. The waitress was fantastic. The price $$ depends on your drinks about $25-$30 per person this is with one adult beverage. Well worth it 🙂

4.5 stars. We were picked up in the pink limo which was so fun. The driver was funny and engaged with his customers. Also pointed out things along the way, made recommendations for dinner and gave history on the restaurant. The wings and chicken strips were delicious. Where they really shine is the pork ribs, tender and smokey. The brisket was disappointing for us. Maybe were not used to eating brisket but it felt and tasted more like the pot roast I make at home. Go with the ribs, they are excellent.

Google said they closed at 10(Kitchen closes at 9) and we walked in after 9pm and we’re told the kitchen was closed. She either saw the disappointment or the hunter on our faces and said she’d bring us some BBQ and told us what the still had available. Came out to check on us after bringing us the most amazing ribs and sides! The cook had also came out to see how we liked it. TOP notch BBQ with lots of ELVIS memorabilia. Recommend!!

Fun experience, had the ribs for 2 which were fall off the bone tender. The side of green beans didn’t have much flavor, but the corn fritters were moist and crunchy. I loved the atmosphere and the coziness of the place. We arrived around 8 on a Saturday night with no wait for 4. The gift shop was a fun add on, I bought a bottle of their sauce. Glad we stopped by during a road trip.

Driving through and remember hearing Memphis has good BBQ…so we searched and found this place. Boy, was it sooooo good! Sat promptly. Ordered 1/2 rack of ribs and the southern chicken tenders. The ribs were absolutely delicious! The chicken tenders were beyond good and the honey mustard sauce was the best! Highly recommend and would stop here again if in the area!

I tried the ribs, chicken, and brisket. Ribs fell off the bones. Brisket and chicken were moist and juicy. My fried okra was good. Mac and cheese were my least favorite. It's worth a trip.

The BBQ spaghetti was definitely an experience! We expected to hate it. But it actually tastes surprisingly good. The ribs were my favorite but the brisket came in a close second. The waitress was assisted by two young boys who were friendly and tried so hard to help it was adorable!

Great service and great food. Meeting the owner and him being so friendly/talkative/down to earth was great as well. We hope to get back to Memphis to visit this fine establishment in the near future. And yes, we rode in the pink limousine .... from our hotel, the Guest House at Graceland..

What an experience!!! Unfortunately both time I’ve been visited I didn’t take any pictures of the delicious food. Miley, our waiter is seriously the best, she makes the experience complete. Everything here food wise is absolutely delicious, ribs and brisket the best of the best! And then there was dessert...holy cow!!! Amazing, apple pie is usually boring and straight boring, but not here; the crust is to die for. I’m very confident to highly recommend this eatery. Thank you Marlowe’s for everything!

While in Memphis we really wanted some Memphis barbecue... Best barbecue, awesome service and absolutely love the atmosphere. The atmosphere of the restaurant is so much fun. The walls are loaded with Elvis memorabilia. There is a gift shop with a large selection of items related to Marlowe's, Memphis, and Elvis. The Owner Tony was so friendly and told us stories about what Elvis was like.

1st time visiting. Different taste and style for me. But all in all it was good. Ladies were great with customer service and great communication.

Great food! Great atmosphere! Exceptional service! Thank you Haley for the excellent hospitality. Best service we’ve both had in a very long time. The food was amazing. I wish this was close to where I live (Canada) or else I’d be a regular!

Despite all the chaos our service didn't miss a beat! The food was good but presentation was lacking, especially given the solid reputation of this place. I was a regular patron 10+ years ago and the atmosphere was so different this time, and not in a good way. Nevertheless, visiting this place will be it's own unique experience for everyone every time.

My first time to visit this place. I ordered a full rac pork ribs, the waitress was awesome, but when my ribs came out that I ordered dry with BBQ sauce on the side, they came wet. I told the waitress she took it away and within a minute or so she was back with more, that looked like they were drowned in dry rub to cover the sauce. I was extremely disappointed in the food, and if it wasn't so bad of experience I'd go back, because I liked the Elvis room. Way way too expensive for portion size. In my opinion Memphis BBQ is a better choice for BBQ ribs.
