Visiting from out of town, I was dying to go to a New York diner. You see those paintings of rainy days outside a diner and I just wanted that vibe. Saw this place close to my hotel and was excited to go. This place was AMAZING!! Service was STELLAR. Food was KILLER. it was everything I wanted and more. Huge portions too. I loved everything about it and I'm sad I won't be able to go back. So if you see this, please go!!! Thank you Hicksville Diner! Love from New Mexico!

Great place for breakfast and diner food.

Hicksville Diner is a cozy diner that we try to visit when we are in the area. Always with attentive and friendly staff. Food made just right and coffee cups that's always topped off.

We stopped in for an early dinner on a Sunday afternoon. There was zero wait and only a few customers were seated at the time. The waiter was very nice and helped us with everything we needed. My wife was very happy with her omelet while I had the honey dipped chicken with slaw, green beans, a Cesar salad and a cup of chicken noodle which reminded me of soup at my grandmother's as a child. The green beans were steamed for those interested and the salad was fresh and delicious that was med-heavy on the dressing, not a bad thing but I would suggest dressing on the side for more particular eaters. The chicken was very good, no sauce needed. Crispy and tasty with all different chicken parts included, the way one would expect fried chicken. My wife had a slice of the mudslide cake for desert and enjoyed every bite. Overall I am very happy with our experience and we would be happy to stop in again the next time we are in the area.

We live close by and love taking our friends and family there to give them a taste of a legit American diner. The food is usually yummy, and the servings are huge. The staff knows what they're doing, and they do it well. However, my kid ordered an M&M cookie, and it was kinda stale, and the coffee wasn't the best either. But hey, if you're in the area, give this spot a go. It's worth checking out.

Absolutely loved the thanksgiving wrap! Turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce and gravy wow, delicious! Great little diner, will definitely be returning!

Very clean and stuff very friendly and helpful. But….. food was omg! Grease!! I was missing sauce on my burger and omg, burger were so greasy I could nit even finish it, pizza fries were very soggy, only salad where good in Philly sandwich, also good to mention, that food portions were big. If you like grease food, this place is for you!

This is a greek-style diner. The exterior is unobtrusive and easy to miss among all the strip malls. The parking lot is a bit small but so is the restaurant. The interior is bright and clean. The food is good. The prices seem high at first, but the portions are big enough for two people. The service was adequate. The table could have been bussed better. The wait for the food was on the longer side.

Stopped by for lunch while waiting for my car at Hyundai across the street. I ordered a corned beef sandwich which came back slightly grilled which made it nice and juicy. It was lean so it melted in my mouth. Service was quick and friendly so I wouldn't hesitate to come back in the future.

What a great place! My husband and I were in town visiting family, and we stopped there for breakfast the day we were leaving town. Wish we'd tried it earlier! The servings were huge and the food was delicious! Staff was all interactive and very friendly. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town.

Went here for the first time ever and loved it! Food was delicious and the portions were HUGE! The staff was very friendly and so pleasant. We weren't rushed and felt very comfortable and welcome.

The food was delicious. We got the steak and eggs and the eggs Benedict and it was amazing. I liked the fact that the steak was actually London broil which was cooked perfectly. The service was awesome. We even were visited by the manager and owner I believe. Both were very pleasant. This is a must go to if you are in the area and want an awesome breakfast with great service!

Really nice diner with excellent for and super friendly servers. Had dinner and breakfast there whilst on holiday from the UK. Big generous portions!!! My partner had the 3 egg white omelette and it was huge 👌 Will be having breakfast there before we go home for sure.
