I asked my curtain bangs to be cut shorter than usual because my hair grows quickly. I had never had my hair cut by Cassidy before, but I wanted to give her a chance because I had been happy with how my hair turned out in the past with other stylists at Hairsay. Cassidy cut my hair into literal BANGS, and they were VERY uneven. One side was extremely thick and not a curtain bang at all, and the other was very short and also not a curtain bang. Why are you a stylist if you don't know how to cut curtain bangs? Also, when blow-drying my hair, no product was put in before, which I do not appreciate because I want my hair protected from the heat. She put no product in after either. If I'm paying $65 for a haircut, I expect some effort to be put in. I went back the next day, and someone fixed it for me, which was very nice, but I got no money back, and I'm still upset. It's not like me to leave a negative review, but this is unacceptable. I have been coming to Hairsay for over ten years and have always had a good experience. I will never return, which is unfortunate because I like many of the lead stylists there, especially Carmine. I'm truly traumatized by this experience. I hope this review is taken seriously because giving somebody bad bangs they didn't ask for before the holidays is not okay whatsoever.

This salon is great! Everyone who works there is always pleasant and professional and it’s pretty easy to get an appointment without having to wait weeks to be seen. They’ve always run on time whenever I’ve been there and are sure to make the clients comfortable. I’ll never go to another salon. As for stylists, Kelly is amazing! She always does a great job and makes getting your hair done a relaxing experience. She’s the best!

Alyssa gave me an amazing haircut. I have struggled for years to find a local stylist who really knows how to work with long, curly, thick hair. I am so glad I found Alyssa! She cut my hair precisely the way I wanted it. She is also amazing at blow drying curly-coarse hair, and took the time to do it well, using all the right styling products for my hair type. Alyssa has such a friendly and positive attitude, too. She’s easy to talk to and really pays attention when you tell her what you want your hair to look like. I will definitely book future appointments with her!

I wish I would have tried this place sooner! It’s clean and beautiful inside. The staff is phenomenal at what they do and they are always looking to expand their skills. Jenny is a lovely hairstylist who is professional, patient and knows how to handle a thick head of wavy hair like mine.

Wow I am so pleased with new look! Val did such a good job! I was a little nervous because I am a new customer at Hairsay, but Val and Antonia settled my nerves instantly! I have long thin hair that I have been growing out trying to embrace the gray. Val took one look at my two tone hair and knew exactly what I needed. Val suggest a highlight to blend the gray so I could continue to grow out my hair with little maintenance. I’m so happy with the color it’s a perfect match to my silver gray hair. The haircut he gave me was also amazing. My long thin straggly hair looks much healthier with just cutting an inch and shaping around my face. Val takes his time cutting your hair creating a masterpiece. He is a true artist!

Miranda and the staff at Hairsay are amazing!! Miranda does both my cut and color and takes the time to understand exactly what my end goal is. She is always on on schedule, reasonably priced. They never push products on you, but will gladly recommend anything you are interested in.

I am a new client and I had my first visit with Miranda for a consultation- She was extremely knowledgeable and we discussed all of my options for transitioning to natural gray hair. Today, Miranda did an excellent job today transitioning my hair to match my natural gray that I have been growing out! Extremely happy with the results!!

The staff are nice, but I found my experience quite rushed and the color wasn’t really what I asked for. I asked and showed images of a brick red color and instead I got dark pink magenta color. I was left to leave with damp hair and had to ask to even get my hair blow dried which was only done for a bit. I had previously talked about cuts along with the dyed hair in my consultation and when I asked to get a trim on my bangs, she couldn’t since she was working on another client when I was still in the process and finishing up. I had scheduled an appointment 2 to 3 weeks in advance and needed to rescheduled twice for their convenience — which I do not have a problem with doing, but it felt like not enough time and attention was put to me. Overall the staff is friendly and the dyed hair is nice, but they got the color wrong, left with wet hair, near the end felt quite rushed and such.

The best of the best:) I had the pleasure of getting my hair done by Val, and I couldn't be happier with the results. His work is simply the best, and the color that my hair turned out is absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend him for anyone looking for a skilled and talented hair colorist. Thank you.

Carmine is a seasoned professional hairstylist. He matched my Aveda formula flawlessly. During the consultation, Carmine demonstrated to be a good listener. This was my first time getting my hair colored by a different person. Miranda was attentive and listened to what I wanted and gave constructive feedback in terms of ensuring my hair does not grow in a triangle shape etc. I was hesitant about the color cause I couldn’t see it but with better lighting I loved how it came out with the haircut curled. We took before pictures but she didn’t take after pics - probably forgot or maybe I presented as though I didn’t like the outcome. I would definitely rebook with Miranda for this service.

Every experience I have had at Hairsay has been fantastic. Everyone who works there is very professional; I have had great experiences with several stylists there getting cuts, blowouts, highlights, glazes and more. Their services are high quality while still being pretty reasonably priced compared to competitors (and especially when compared to NYC salons). Isabella is THE GIRL - she is so gifted at color and styling, so personable, and is a mind reader - she can always tell exactly what I am looking for (no matter how poorly I describe it!) and does flawless work. Can't recommend this place highly enough!
