Tried this place looking for some good Italian food and I wish I would have come here sooner. This is one hell of a great Italian deli small little place but tons of food from the chicken cutlets to the meatballs and eggplant and the eggplant capunata was probably one of the best I ever had and I’m very picky with that but these guys make I’d amazing definitely will be coming back great place great people!

Great selection. Service is odd though. The man who made my hero and got a few salads passed me off to another worker. The new person helping me gas no idea what was mine. I also asked for 1/2 a pound of stuff and everything was an entire pound. He rung up everything and I wasn’t even told the amount of the bill? Then I get home and he gave me a corner dried out piece of lasagna so hard you can’t even chew it and the meat lasagna he gave me double what I asked for in portion size. Also the lasagna tastes so horrible I don’t know how anyone eats it! I’ll give it to my mom or throw away. $20 in the trash. Plus a $50 bill for what I should’ve been charged only $35 if they had not given me larger amounts of food than I requested. If a customer asks for 1/2 a pound why do you give 1 pound and if asked for 1/4 why do you give 1/2? Why would I want More than I need and I’m trusting you to do it correctly. I also agree with the review that stated that non Italians are treated different here. I’m not Italian but I love the food. Your sandwiches are amazing but the lasagna horrible!

Do not order catering from here. I spent over $600 for a nice Christmas dinner with friends and the Chicken Franchise has plastic inside of it …. The Steak was raw and literally tasted like blood. It was so bad I had to do an emergency order from a pizzeria so people can eat and not get sick. I called and texted. Sent pictures and showed them how it looked. I was told I was going to get in contact with the owner. The guy who i was on the phone with who took my order was super nice and understanding but the owner never called me. Normally, i would have ordered from A&S Merrick which was always my go to until Anthony sold the business. So I figured I’d try a different location and it was the worst mistake ever !!! Talk about an embarrassing party with all your friends. Normally I wouldn’t write bad reviews but the fact that no one contacted me to even apologize for over a month. I understand being busy and I’m the holiday season but contact people

Awesome, authentic Italian deli with super fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers, olives, bread, Italian imports, cheese and prosciutto, sandwiches, pasta and so on. Place has been around for close to 40 years. I remember picking up bread and fresh mozzarella 20 years ago on the way to the beach club. Only reason for 4 stars is staff and service can be spotty/slow or inconsistent. Will be back for sure, just during off hours when they are not busy.

I had an excellent experience at A&S Deli. Their assortment of salads and kinds of pasta was fantastic, and the staff was incredibly friendly. They even offered me a delicious sample of their orange chicken. I can't wait to go back for more!

Their fresh mozzarella is perfect. Always fresh, tasty and the texture is perfect. Appetizers and sundried peppers makes it the Sunday morning breakfast of champions 😊

Went here for the 1st time, and I have to say, I'll be going back. From the moment I walked in, everyone was more than happy to help me. I was asked, " How can I help you?" From many of the guys. Food is delicious, and the place is spotless. The best Italian food store in Oceanside .

The food I ordered was not good at all. I also got a meatball sandwich and it was cold and tasteless. Never again...
