I find it hard to believe that all these 5 star reviews are legit! I wanted to like it but I wouldn’t order again. They are overpriced and underwhelming The only thing I liked was the Philly cheesesteak egg roll but not for $4.00 The sesame chicken was so overcooked and dry I couldn’t get thru it with a fork! with barely any sauce I don’t know what it is about Chinese restaurants that they always overcook chicken! The egg foo young had a weird sauce not traditional The fried dumplings were overcooked snd hard And those delicious noodles you normally get with soup well not here because they use pre bagged I wasted my money unfortunately

Been ordering here for awhile and it's been good. Last order a few days ago was missing an item, when I called them they said a refund for item would go back on credit card rather than redelivering. I agreed, but refund credit never got done.

Here's the deal. I picked up food, over a $100 order, for my daughters birthday (i live 25 min away). I would have given 1 star based on food and service. Order was wrong and hostess was dismissive and argumentive. What saves this place is the call from the owner, out of nowhere to apologize and offer a full refund. Unbelievable..it's because of him I'll give the place another chance. He gets it. He's a 5 star owner in my book!

Three people getting on the phone to take a basic small steamed broccoli order with a small white rice. Then when they finally figured out how to do it, they asked for $12.50, wow, I get the same thing for $7.00 from my other Chinese restaurant who is not open on Tuesdays.

THREE HOURS to deliver food tonight. Three. Then when delivered it was cold. I called 5x during the delay…..tgey said they “dod no have the number of the driver”. Unreal. Place is a joke. Avoid.

Tried Danny's Chinese Kitchen tonight. Far the BEST take out spot in town. All my dishes were delicious 😋 Flavor? YES DANNY'S GOT FLAVOR I tried THE PORK FRIED EGG ROLL amazingly it was NOT a bit oily tasting as the other take out places here (and you can taste the textures with each bite, The cabbage had a crunchy bite carrots were as well and I ATE the whole egg roll (should have ordered 2) Next I had a order of the meat dumplings fried (I usually end up with leftovers from the other take out spots...but again, I ate the entire order. Egg drop soup was next up and this did disappoint. There were double or triple the amount of the egg ribbons in this HOT but alluring liquor of awesomeness. NOT EVEN OVERLY SALTY like the others. I did only consume less then half as I plan to eat this tomorrow for my dinner. Lastly my entree was the combination plate of General Taso's chicken with pork fried River and the mentioned egg roll I opened my 3 fortune cookies (saving to play all 3 sets of the lottery numbers can only get lucky...so not But I will say if you want to try the BEST CHINESE FOOD IN OCEANSIDE DANNY'S CHINESE KITCHEN IS THE PLACE TO BE

My family and I love Danny’s Kitchen! The food is delicious and the restaurant is very clean! We highly recommend the General Tso’s shrimp, sesame chicken, the boneless spareribs, and the won ton soup (the absolute best)!!!

Living here in Oceanside 25yrs and ate me some great Chinese. This is my 3rd time ordering from Dannys. Last 2 times were underwhelming but gave 1 more chance as an in person pickup to eliminate the delivery cool down. sesame chicken hard and dry. Lomein (they accomodated lomein substitution for rice) tasteless with little to no pork strips. 2 pieces of broccoli. Even their "homemade" mustard was tasteless. Other 2 times I ordered soup and general tso's. The biggest assault was 1 combo plate $16 pickup in store. Wow. Stick with China King on brower.

First time ordering after getting the menu in my mailbox multiple times. Spare ribs were good. Meat dumplings (is it pork or beef? Just says ‘meat’) were over fried (not juicy) and under seasoned. Chicken in my cashew chicken tasted precooked like it was boiled for soup first and then used in the wok dishes. I would say that it was just ‘ok’. If they were the only game in town, I’d order from them again if I had a Chinese food craving. But with a ton of other great Chinese takeout places in Oceanside, I don’t think I’ll be returning to Danny’s Chinese Kitchen.

Terrible to lose customers the over 20% off when paying cash when you come here a few times a week for over a year. Now I can’t do that when I did it three times this week lol Horrible service. No loss to me. Get your priorities in order

Food so bland I thought I had covid.

Soup was inedible. Ribs were undercooked and fatty with foul sauce. Food was expensive and poor quality, tasteless. Best thing about this place is the paper menu. It folds easily into an airplane and swoops into the trash pail.

I REALLY WANTED TO LOVE IT!!! I heard some great things in local social groups so I tried it out. Here's my honest take on items ordered; Wonton soup - very salty, thick noodles, not much flavor in the filling. Egg drop soup - average. Shrimp toast - beyond greasy!!! It tasted more like pork toast than shrimp toast so watch out if you don't eat pork and it didn't come with homemade duck sauce that other places offer. General Tso's Chicken - the chicken was mostly tender but it was SO salty, way too sweet, and no spice that you expect with this dish. I didn't even bother eating the broccoli. Cold Noodles in sesame sauce - cloyingly sweet!!! It was sweeter than most desserts! Not a dish for diabetics! Choose your own vegetable dish - this was the most enjoyable out of all the dishes ordered. We had mixed veggies with the ginger scallion sauce. Overall ... average is being generous. If I were to order again I would request very low sodium and no sugar but chances are I won't unless I'm just ordering the vegetables.

Definitely stepped up there game from the bellmore location garlic sauce had some spice this time wonton soup was good Lo mein wasn’t too bad I liked that with shrimp and mixed veggies they gave a good amount of shrimp and I like the customization of the combos definitely a better experience here

Not impressed at all. Very expensive. What it cost for 2 people would have fed my family of 5 at my usual place. and very small portions. The small at any other Chinese place is 3 times the size. Food was very gressy. Did not have that yummy Chinese food flavor you crave. I would not order from them again.

ordered on phone told we paid with discover when picked up but cannot pay with credit card on phone, had a different name for order finally the manger was able to take cash who also took my order on phone. The order was missing an item called and said we did not pay for it I can order and come pick it up and hung up on me. No packages of soy sauce or duck sauce in bag.

at work and we decided to have chinese food. Two of us decided to have The lunch special boneless spare ribs. The fried rice was good but the spare ribs were horrible!!! They were dry inedible!!! Very dissatisfied
