Went in to get a sub sandwich based on the reviews. Ordered the Super Sub hot all the way to go. It is large enough for two meals. The taste was great but the amount of meat (cappicola ham, salami and ham) and cheese (provolone) was pretty thin, allowing the taste of the garnish to be the major taste of the sub.

Chilly overcast day had me craving a hot turkey sub and when I found this place I figured why not try it… Holy heck! I loved my sandwich - absolutely perfect. I will be back again.

Possibly the best old school sandwich shop in Wilmington. A friend that lived near their shop introduced me to Sub Stop 20 years ago and I still love to stop by for my go to sandwich, their “Sub Stopper.” The staff is friendly, personable, and efficient and the food is great. Get the Sub Stopper warm and enjoy with a cold Dr Pepper.

This is the closest sub shop to what I would find up north, the subs were delicious, but the lady at the counter had a big attitude and was snippy when you asked questions about the food. The best cheese steak I've found down south (I am from the cheesesteak capital, Pennsylvania)

Saw this place on a random Google search while looking for lunch on a service call. It was so good I jumped on another call in Wilmington just so I could go back. Both days the staff was awesome and the food was amazing. If you like Italian subs get the number one. Hot. And I have to say, they are now my favorite cheese steak in the state of NC. I know, high praise, but well earned. It was phenomenal. Cannot recommend enough.

I got me and my manager food here and it was not good at all. I got a turkey and ham sub and he got the burger sub. Both of them were flavorless and not good. Like we literally both tried just the patties of his burger and it tasted like nothing at all and the deli meat on mine were just tasteless. The fries are really good though lol, we both liked them a lot.

My husband and I haven't been to Sub Stop in years. So he decided to take me to lunch & surprise me! Our sub & salad were delicious and we both got full and satisfied! It won't be long before we go back!! Maybe tomorrow!!

Oh my....you got to visit. The food is amazing, and staff are over the top with service... feel like I hit jackpot. Most defiantly new stop for dinner weekly.

First time trying them and I loved the pizza burger. Place seems nice and quiet, staff was very nice. Give it a 10/10 may come back here for dinner some time.

Sub Stop is supreme. Fine meats, peppers and onions on a tasty sub roll that's not too thick (like some places where the roll overwhelms the sandwich). Super nice staff no matter who waits on you. Best in town IMO.

Sandwiches are very filling & fresh. Friendly speedy service. Great menu selections & variety! Love that I can pre order than pick up at the drive through window. The fried mushrooms & "Substopper" hero were yummy! ! Thank you!

Love this place. I've been a customer here for years. The only critique I have is they need better hours. Especially on the weekends. Closing 4:00pm on Saturday, really bad hours for the weekend.

Been coming here my whole life ..34 years. A hometown favorite! Best subs I've ever eaten anywhere! Family owned and operated. Hope it never leaves.... absolutely love it! And the service is always amazing! Mike and his wife are awesome! Best fried pickles, Philly and sub stop burger!

Best service and subs around. I had a classic cheeseburger sub and it was fantastic. I’ve been coming here for years and I’ve never left disappointed. Such a great value for the food you get for the money.
