    Solon Historical Society is an interesting and full of authentic and ancient exponents place.

    Great museum. Members were well versed on Solon and its history. The house next to it is gorgeous. Hope Solon City Council let the historical society have it.

    The Mantua Historical Society took a field trip to the Solon Historical Society on Thursday. It is located in a former Disciples of Christ Church where James A Garfield preached! There is a plethora of unique & every day artifacts! Our tour guides were Bob & Mary, who love what they do there & are proud of what they have. It's not easy to keep all the balls in the air in taking care of a Historical Society. There are ALWAYS opportunities to volunteer at your local historical society!
