My experience at Church and State continues to be frustrating and disappointing. While I appreciate that they at least respond to my emails, it is deeply concerning that residents are inaccessible to anyone in upper management. This lack of transparency and accessibility is unacceptable, as it leaves us without a way to address more serious and complex issues. Despite the acknowledgment of my emails, the fact that upper management remains inaccessible raises doubts about their willingness to genuinely resolve residents' concerns. Important matters should be dealt with promptly and directly by those in charge, but this lack of accessibility suggests a disregard for the needs and well-being of the community. The HVAC issue that has persisted for six months is a prime example of the management's inadequacy. While I have been able to communicate the problem via email, the lack of real-time discussion with upper management hinders any potential progress in resolving the matter effectively. Moreover, the multiple garage break-ins remain unresolved and have not been addressed satisfactorily by the management. Without the ability to escalate these issues to upper management, residents are left feeling powerless and unsafe in their own homes. The poor and untimely communication regarding events on the rooftop continues to create a sense of disorganization and frustration among residents. The inability to reach higher-ups only exacerbates the situation, leaving residents without a proper channel to voice their concerns and seek clarification. Although the maintenance team has been helpful in their efforts, it is crucial to have access to upper management for more complex issues and decisions that can only be addressed at that level. The current lack of accessibility undermines any positive experiences with the maintenance team. Overall, I cannot recommend living in Church and State due to the inaccessibility for residents to communicate with anyone in upper management, and unresolved HVAC issues. This inaccessible approach to addressing serious concerns demonstrates a lack of accountability and commitment to providing a satisfactory living environment. Prospective tenants should be cautious and consider alternatives where transparency and open communication with upper management are valued.

I recently toured church + state with Christina and Laurel. They were both absolutely wonderful. Very thorough, and answered all of my questions with ease. Kudos to the design staff! The units are beautiful and the space is gorgeous. Also, the common area is so much fun! A great place to hang. I cannot wait to move in!

I moved from Los Angeles CA to here in Cleveland for my graduate degree and have been beyond happy here! Church and State was the last apartment complex I had toured and almost didn’t even go but I am glad I did. Ethan gave me my first tour and he, Victoria and the whole team have been so kind and helpful. The units are beautiful with modern fixtures, a huge sink, large windows, and a great community. I personally love the aesthetic and decor that fills every part of this complex. You can see the handpicked detail everywhere and the care really shows. I feel safe in this building and this neighborhood and think it’s a great place to live. Highly recommend coming here

I have been a resident for a year and a half now and although my first year or so has been great with Church and State, I quickly learned that they are lacking communication skills the first time there is an issue. My dryer has been broken for two months now and trying to communicate with the staff is almost impossible. Multiple emails, texts and phone calls have gone unanswered while I am simply trying to get a response on a situation that should have been resolved by now. I will definitely not be renewing my lease with them when the time comes.

We had a very smooth move in experience to Church and State. Even when my moving company showed up later than scheduled due to some delays on their side, Christina and management was very accommodating in reserving the elevator for us on our move in date. The management here is very helpful, friendly, and very welcoming. The apartment was very clean (spotless) and all appliances are working well. The apartment location is superb with many cool new restaurants, coffee shops, gyms around the area. Its also a walking distance to the west side market! We are in love with our apartment, facilities, community and service in Church and State and we are glade we chose this place as our new home!

Toured C+S last week—what a beautiful space. I fell in love with the area. It is so close to many restaurants and little shops. Loved the views from the apartments I toured as well as all the design features. Josh Monaco did a phenomenal job at addressing my questions during my tour. He even gave a great lunch recommendation. Hoping to bring my boyfriend back to tour with me as we are looking for our next place. Would highly recommend to take a look—and ask for Josh!

We LOVE living at Church & State! The apartments are beautifully crafted with modern fixtures, big closets, large windows and the C&S community is amazing. The staff puts on events such as weekly yoga, free breakfast, etc and the rooftop is incredible. I also want to personally shoutout Josh, as he always made me feel so welcome at C&S, so knowledgeable about the area, helpful with anything I needed and such a friendly face. Highly recommend Church & State!

Loved living at Church and State. Amazing location and the onsite team Josh is so accommodating and attentive. The neighborhood is the best walking score in the area and you are just steps away from Harness Cycle, Beet Jar, and Rising Star!

I moved to Downtown Cleveland in November 2022 and ultimately picked to live at Church + State because they offered electric charging. I ended up falling in love with the building and neighborhood, and so glad I picked to live in Hingetown. Laurel and Josh were so welcoming to me and my beagle Dixie, and really made our time there great. Will definitely miss the breath taking views too.

All I can say is wow! Recently I went to look at Church & State and it absolutely has something for everyone. The aesthetics of the building alone and the public art is enough to catch your eye and lure you in. Once inside, Laurel and Christina gave me the best tour! From the lobby to the rooftop Lantern room, you definitely feel at home. I can’t wait to move in!
