A beautiful place to sit down, grab a drink, and walk by the water. One of my favorite places in the area! Hosted by the Cleveland Metro-parks, you will not be disappointed!

The AP path ends here. Plenty of picnic tables throughout the area. Rent kayaks and launch it in the Rocky River. Plenty of boats parked here. Nice boat launches. Quick and easy to get to Lake Erie.

Lots of parking and boat launch spaces, and a neat rolling kayak launch thing. Good scenery. You can kayak upriver a bit until you get to rocks, and down river past a yacht club, fancy houses, and to the lake.

Place is fine unless ur paying to dock your boat, pay over 2k a year to get harassed, no security, head of the marine mike should be fired asap running the place into the ground, they host bridel shower and baby showers on the weekends busiest days for boating, good luck carring ur cooler a mile completely full, they are supposed to have carts to use but I've never seen one. Staff is lazy and rude. Freedom boat kids are very helpful and respectful. Metropark staff is incompetent to say the least. Worst marine in ohio but location is the only reason they have any business. Been waiting over a month to have them move the cleets to usable area. Takes maybe 5 minutes to move a cleet, as the staff just sits there praying someone will want gas. Bathrooms are open to the public so most of the time they are gross! They had poop water going from the bathroom to the ice cream shop extremely gross! food is crazy expensive 3 chicken tenders for 10bucks with no side(not that I would eat there with there sanitation issues). Kayakers create unsafe waters and nothing is ever done! Strongly suggest any other marine!

My wife and I rented a couple of paddle boards and we really enjoyed going down the river. We had two hours and it was more than enough time to get to the lake and back. We would have spent more time in the open water but the lake was a challenge for novice paddleboarders like us. The workers were kind and helpful, we would recommend if you enjoy kayaking or paddleboarding. The trip was pleasant and had nice views.

Can come down to boat docks watch the boats and people fishing. Snack bar with sandwich and ice cream treats. Beer and wine available. Nice seating area outside to enjoy the site.

Went to Lake Erie for our vacation. Although some people don't understand that they need to get their boats ready PRIOR to launching it was a great launch site. Clean bathrooms and nice parking.

I want to give a better rating. The boat ramp is awesome. The kayak rental right at the ramp is a problem for boaters. You have inexperienced adults AND kids that don't know right of way rules. Can't believe there hasn't been safety issues. Oh.... then they park cars in the handicap boater spots. On top of all that... I get to pay to use the ramp.

It's such a beautiful place day or night. It's a super fun place to take your fur babies or actual human babies.

A perfect stop after a long bike ride on the trail! Grab a burger...a beer...ice cream...then hang out on the surrounding patio overlooking the river. Or, just hang out inside and enjoy the air conditioning. The building is clean and well-kept. I noticed that they also have live music on weekends throughout the summer.

Good place for walks and sight seeing. In the summer with hot weather good place to kayak and swim. Went fishing with my kids and found a few dead fish floating around.

It's a very nice Marina and a great place to launch your canoe or kayak or paddle board or boat if that's what you're into!
