This is an excellent, posh and trendy fine dining restaurant. I placed a take out order and the people were all friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is exquisite and inviting. The food is divine and delicious and perfectly prepared. I did not see a parking lot for the restaurant and the nearby main street spaces were full. The closest side street was also full, so I had to park on the next side street. It can be pricy depending on what you order.

Feels like a blend of NY and LA - full of personality and great attention to food quality and presentation. The endless array of flavor combinations of the bruschetta boards always keep the table conversation going strong. My friends love their daily fish specials. I stick to their soups and salads - always interesting too. Cocktails and wine list are also great. I just bought a friend a gift card, they love the bar on Fridays to start the weekend.

My husband and I have been coming to Gigi’s for years. It makes everything better. I’ve enjoyed birthdays and made bad days better. We even came to Gigi’s to celebrate our engagement. The atmosphere is both elegant and cozy, and on the patio in the summer they magically make Fairmount Blvd disappear! I haven’t even gotten to the food yet! Bruschetta boards have something for everyone and the dinner specials never disappoint. The brunch is one of the best around! It’s safe to say that Gigi’s is one of our all time favorites.

Gigi's is an absolute hidden gem. My husband and I drive past the restaurant during our late afternoons and early evening adventures, and always mentioned it's worth trying but never execute it until recently. I will see every time we pass it, it's always busy and lively. You definitely should make a reservation if you plan on eating here. Everything about this place is amazing... the food and evening entree selection was OUTSTANDING, ambience is very cool, calm and collected and the service was spectacular. I love how the entree changes daily/weekly... keeps it interesting every time you visit. Entree's average about $50 a plate; it is more on the expensive end but you do get a very tasty and well portioned meal. The bruschetta board selections are OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD. DELICIOUS!!!!! The presentation was beautiful and was sliced for the amount of guests at the table. We ordered the smoked salmon, prosciutto, ricotta and brie and it was more than enough to satisfy before our meals. I'm pretty sure we said "wow" after trying every slice! One thing I loved is that each section of the slice had the same toppings so every one got to enjoy all the flavours and toppings at the same time. Now let's talk about my meal... I got the lobster and when I tell you I inhaled it, I genuinely left nothing on the plate. I even contemplated on ordering an additional entree; no shame on round two since the flavours were so robust and every bite was heavenly. Gigi's has a great cocktail and wine list. I was highly impressed with my options and there was something for each of our pallets. I ordered 2 rosy glow's with my bruschetta selections then 3 glasses of Malbec to follow to pair with my lobster and dessert. We also ordered the 3 desserts but that almond cream cake stole my heart forever. This place is truly a gem and I recommended it for date night, girls night out or even a chill boys night. 10/10.

It is a very chic and small place with black walls and comfy cushions, beautiful chandeliers and even a very interesting bathroom! If you love dogs, specially bulldogs, you will find cute pics of them :) A very different menu. You won't find it at other places. The board with 4 different choices (picture below) is great for groups. They are open for lunch and dinner which is nice :) and weekend for brunch. The outside street side is just perfect place to summer to enjoy the cute flower baskets and sunshine. It is nice a place for kids but great for dates and friends hangout. I brought my mom and she loved the food, atmosphere and the service. Tamma is an amazing host/server. If she is serving you, her beautiful smile and manner will make you day!

Came out to eat with my wife as this place was recommended, and blew away our expectations. Small little place but Gigi herself seemed to be hustling around helping with service and there wasn't a time our water glass wasn't full. The food was phenomenal, tried the Bass and Short rib which were great. The Bruschetta board was well worth it as they have many options to choose from. Take your hubby or woman here for a date!

This place is fabulous! The chef makes something new every day, so you need to check the menu before you go for dinner. My dinner was the best pasta and seafood meal I've ever eaten! The ambiance is busy and a little crowded, but the food makes up for it. If you order the tapas, they are just average. However, the cuisine from the chef is over the top wonderful. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor!

Annual trip to Gigi's and were sat in the lounge. I asked for the bar area...the lounge is the entry area not the bar area. Totally different atmosphere. Server was not happy to be working. Came to the table twice. Utterly dismal for a festive holiday evening. Won't be back. Too many other places to try. Brought my 77 year old mom so she could experience what had impressed us before. Epic fail.

The passion fruit crème brûlée was soooooo delicious! The broccoli cheddar soup was delicious the crab cakes are very tasty! The bread and oil man I’m definitely going back!!! The owner was so nice such a beautiful soul.

Went here with a friend for a girls night out to celebrate her graduation from a masters degree program and a new job. We were excited to try Gigi’s and made a reservation for 8:30, with the website having reservation options for dinner as late as 9pm. We were seated at a table very near the kitchen and there was lots of loud clanging of dishes and other noise throughout the entire meal. I arrived at around 8:40 due to an issue with directions and was immediately greeted by our server informing me that the kitchen was closing soon and we needed to put our orders in asap. I had not even had a moment to look at the drink or wine list. After we ordered our food we weren’t left with a drink or wine menu, those were deftly taken away. We both chose salads and uncomplicated starters but even so we were incredibly rushed repeatedly during the meal and had the impression that our server would really like for us to just pay for our stuff and go. She did give us permission to wait on ordering dessert. She then brought us one check without even asking how we would like to handle it. All of the food looked and tasted fine and the decor of the place was pretty but the service we received made us feel unwelcome and ruined our experience. The vibe we got the entire time was that it was a bother to allow us to have dinner there. I would suggest to the owners to not accept reservations for 8:30 and 9:00 pm for dinner if this is an imposition to your preferred operating schedule. And perhaps edit your website as the text states seating for dinner goes until 9pm. Or find staff who can act like they want to be there. Our bill was close to $135 plus tip and the service we received just didn’t match that. It looked like a lot of love and care was put into the look of the restaurant and the dishes on the menu, too bad the overall experience did not match.

We had been looking forward to going here for a few weeks, and it did not disappoint. Our simple breadboard and green herb mix salad appetizers were great. Our main meal of sandwiches and salads were also very good, but the best part of the meal was the Red Velvet Cake, which was to DIE FOR. In short, we would definitely come back.

What a wonderful neighborhood place. We had a charcuterie board to share as an appetizer and then the nightly entrees were great. Cocktail list is deep.

Nice atmosphere, attentive servers, terrific food. Call ahead or check for that day's menu. (We heard it changes) The Creme Brulee was watery yet the taste was very good..Otherwise, we had a great time.

Great atmosphere, excellent staff, amazing cocktails and the food is second to none. Come for hand crafted drinks and a cheese board or stay for a full on dinner. The menu changes everyday so this place never gets common.

I never write reviews but Gigi's deserves one. In my half-dozen or so visits, I've had sandwiches, specials, cocktails, desserts ... and everything has been fantastic. Great atmosphere, staff is first-rate. It's a 50-minute drive but we try to get there once a month. Perfect date night place. Actually perfect for whatever.

Hello, Pumpkin Swordfish! What a rarity, only 1 in 3,000 swordfish obtain this color from eating shrimp and krill. My husband and I had it on our anniversary at Gigi’s (actually take out). It was absolutely delicious and so thrilled to have it. Special thanks to the buyers and props to the chef for cooking it perfectly. A special unexpected delight for our anniversary. Great job Gigi’s for keeping the food unique and delicious.

We celebrated my wife's birthday at her favorite restaurant. Our server Taylor was the best. She took the time to answer my wife's questions and was always there when we needed assistance. The food was excellent as always. Kudos to the owner, the manager Kate and the entire staff for making another great experience. We recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants great food, great ambiance and very helpful and attentive staff. Thank you again.

Gigi's is absolutely phenomenal! The high class atmosphere coupled with top notch drinks and food that is beyond compare, make for an exceptional dining experience. The wine selection is great but be sure to check out their unique specialty drinks, the Midnight in Paris is a favorite of mine. The bruschetta is a wonderful appetizer and the choices are all out of this world (I've tried every one)! The portion sizes are just right and food is always cooked to perfection - veggies are crisp and fresh. Don't pass on the homemade desserts, you'll thank me later!! The ambiance at Gigi's is just as sensational as the perfectly prepared and plated menu items. Gigi's also has an outdoor patio making it one of our very favorite restaurants, anytime of year! Highly recommend Gigi's for dinner or drinks and small plates.

Edit*** 9/23: The owners called me the very next day, refunded the meal and apologized for the experience we had. Which is honestly unheard of. We will be returning to eat here. I will update this review next time we dine. Thank you for your kindness and professionalism. Came here for my sisters birthday. Service and greeting right off the bat was super accommodating. Making the we reservation was very simple online. No issues. The issue is with the pricing and with the food. For the money spent my mind should be blown. I ordered the porcini pasta dish, the red pepper soup. The pasta tasted like absolutely nothing. No flavor whatsoever. The red pepper soup tasted like pure acid. My sister ordered the red snapper, fish was dry rice was hard. My brother ordered the short rib— super dry. I think the most enjoyable parts were the bruschetta and the dessert. But for almost $400 for that? No thanks. Improve your recipes. There was absolutely no love in that food.

I’ve lived in Shaker Heights for 4 years, always saw Gigi during my commute, but never went there. I’m moving out of Ohio this summer, so that seemed like a good opportunity to visit. The restaurant is expensive, but you get what you paid for. The food was lovely, the appetizers were more interesting than the entree, perhaps it is a better place for small bites and drinks than a large dinner. The service was excellent. We arrived at a later hour, but at no point we were rushed. The environment is elegant and cozy. You can easily loose track of time while you’re in there.

This place is such a gem. Each time I've been here the food, drinks, and service have been on point. The patio is lovely, especially on a sunny summer afternoon. It's the perfect place for a special occasion or just because it's a random Wednesday afternoon.

Service is great, food wasn’t the best. Overcooked turkey, $22 for a bread plate with 4 dips? It comes with 4 pieces of bread, per order. Idk, the staff is really kind and caring, but I think the food was off (at least on the night I went).

Tracy took great care of us! We enjoyed drinks on the patio and then enjoyed the bruschetta board- our 4 choices included the roast pork with cranberries; roasted mushroom, caramelized onions and chevre; brie, fig and apple, and whipped ricotta with honey and lemon zest! They were all good. However, the roasted mushroom bruschetta was life changing! I then had the potato leek soup, and my bestie had the french onion soup! So delicious! For dinner, we each got the chicken artichoke piccata entrees that came with polenta and broccolini! The servings were huge! Leftovers came home! We were celebrating my friend's birthday, so he got a cheesecake trifle dessert and a double espresso! Tracy even put a candle in it, and I sang him happy birthday! You must try Gigi's on Fairmount! For was amazing!

Lovely but a little cramped and music was nice but a little loud at first. Our reservations were 6.30 on a Friday and we were seated in the main dining room just barely inside the door. A larger 4 top behind us and off the main aisle was empty and remained throughout our dinner. Our friends made the reservation so I did not object as we arrived first.

A fun place for drinks and food. The menu is a nice mix of casual panini sandwiches and yummy salads. Or, if you want, you can go more upscale with one of their daily specials, which are always quite good. One thing they are known for are their yummy bruschetta boards. If you can, try to get a table on the patio.

We made reservations for dinner for 8/3/23 at 5 pm. When I arrived I was taken to a table at the back of the restaurant, near the kitchen. The strange thing was that there was no one else seated in the dining area. I asked the hostess for a better table. We were given a much better table at the front of the dining area. Our server, Tracey was very good. The food was delicious. When we left, there were only a few tables occupied in the dining area, so I'm not sure if the hostesses were new or not properly trained.

What a wonderful surprise! We were looking forward to going to this place for a while but had no expectation that it was going to be great because it was a small, low-key restaurant. How wrong we were. The roast prime rib was the best I ever tasted. The lobster and grits was a sophisticated novel take on an old classic. Cocktails were superb and the atmosphere was just right for a romantic evening on the town. This was our first time here but we will be back. Probably, a lot!

Gigi's is great place to cobble together snacks for a meal while enjoying yummy cocktails. When you first walk in, you are washed over with the warm ambience of a cozy bistro. We are out to celebrate an occasion. To kick things off, we started with the bruschetta boards. The ones we picked were the apple w/figs, prosciutto w/mascarpone, smoked lox, and chicken liver paté. They were sizable pieces cut into 4 pieces, perfect for sharing. I wish the bread had been about half the thickness because the breadiness seemed to lose the intended flavors. I went with the short ribs for main, but also got to taste my friend's dishes including the gnocchi and scallops. All the dishes were presented beautifully and were cooked perfectly. I can't put my finger on it, but all the meals seemed to be lacking some in flavor. Either salt or spices, the entrées didn't seem to reach their full potential. It looked amazing but didn't quite deliver on the taste. Service was friendly and attentive. I noticed our server, Brigette, kept a good eye on our table. Popping in when there was a lull, but giving us space to talk and enjoy each other's company. If I were to come back again with friends, I'd probably go lighter and mix in the meat and cheese boards with a cocktail or two. Overall a great experience!
