I
don't
even
know
where
to
start.
This
gym
and
the
staff
have
been
a
blessing
for
me.
I
feel
like
giving
five
stars
is
not
enough.
So
let
me
share
my
story,
and
maybe
you'll
see
how
much
the
gym
has
helped
me.
Before
having
my
kids
I
was
this
skinny
cute
girl.
I
could
wear
all
the
dresses
I
wanted
because
my
body
allowed
me
to.
But
after
the
delivery,
I
started
gaining
weight.
I
gained
so
much
weight
that
I
hated
my
body.
I
was
just
wearing
large
clothes
to
cover
it.
One
day
I
decided
to
go
to
the
gym,
the
one
in
my
apartment
building.
I
was
working
out,
trying
to
copy
exercises
from
youtube
and
Instagram.
It
was
mainly
cardio
because
I
didn't
know
what
I
was
doing.
Then
covid
hit,
and
the
gym
of
my
apartment
complex
closed.
This
is
when
I
joined
onyx.
I
googled
"gym
near
me,"
and
it
showed
me
the
Onyx
location
in
Fairview.
I
wasn't
sure
about
paying
the
membership
as
I
had
never
been
to
a
paid
gym
before,
but
I
was
like
"well
let's
try
it
and
see."
Again
I
was
trying
to
do
everything
by
myself;
jumping
the
rope,
running
on
the
treadmill,
and
copying
exercises
from
social
media,
but
none
of
them
seemed
to
work.
I
was
about
to
cancel
the
membership
completely,
but
I
told
myself
to
give
it
one
last
shot.
That's
when
I
attended
my
first
group
session
(they're
included
in
the
membership,
no
extra
money
required).
It
was
a
Saturday,
there
was
Nate
the
trainer,
Danielle,
and
other
ladies
as
well.
I
remember
that
the
training
was
so
hard
for
me,
I
was
using
the
5
pounds
weight
I
believe.
I
had
never
been
able
to
even
do
a
push
in
my
life
(yes,
in
my
life)
and
that
day
Nate
asked
me
to
do
one.
I
was
like
"whaaat?!
I
can't.
I
have
never
done
one
in
my
life"
But
then,
I
did
it,
for
the
first
time.
Everyone
was
encouraging
me
(another
great
thing
about
group
sessions),
and
I
basically
just
did
it
without
even
realizing
it.
After
that
day,
I
started
attending
group
classes
every
Saturday.
They
were
super
hard
for
me,
but
I
knew
that
from
there,
I
could
try
to
copy
some
exercises
and
do
them
by
myself
later.
One
day,
one
of
the
Ladies,
Mary,
told
me
that
a
30
min
session
with
Nate
was
worth
more
than
three
hours
of
training
done
by
yourself,
and
she
was
completely
right.
I
think
that
what
hit
me
and
made
me
start
putting
in
some
real
work.
I
wanted
to
get
rid
of
the
annoying
belly
fat
I
got
as
"a
gift"
when
I
delivered
my
babies,
so
I
asked
Nate
if
that
was
possible
to
train
me.
He
told
me
that
yes,
that
it
was
possible
to
even
lose
the
belly
fat,
but
I
had
to
put
in
the
work.
I
scheduled
my
first
pt,
and
I
started
working
with
him.
I
followed
a
diet
for
a
month,
while
I
kept
showing
up
to
group
training
every
day.
It
was
a
bit
hard
because
I
looooove
food,
and
I
felt
like
I
was
eating
air.
But,
I
have
to
proudly
say
that
I
lost
around
6
pounds
in
the
first
week
and
a
half.
I
thought
it
wasn't
a
lot,
but
thinking
about
it
now,
yes,
it
is
a
lot.
As
of
today,
I
love
my
body.
I
got
rid
of
the
annoying
belly
fat
I
had,
and
in
my
opinion,
the
best
thing
in
all
of
this
is
that
no
one
judges
you.
When
I
first
started
group
sessions,
I
looked
like
a
big
onion
doing
squats,
I
couldn't
lift
any
weight,
I
couldn't
do
push-ups,
I
couldn't
do
anything
basically.
I
am
still
not
the
best
in
the
gym,
and
I
still
struggle
but
I
have
become
a
lot
stronger
and
achieved
some
of
my
goals.
In
brief,
to
wrap
up
all
I
have
said,
if
you
consider
joining
the
gym,
do
it
and
regularly
attend
group
classes.
The
staff,
Nate
and
Danielle,
is
super
nice.
And,
I
promise
the
membership
will
be
worth
every
penny.
