Late flight caused me to check in at 2am, guy at the desk was very aggravated and talking to me somewhat aggressive. Was charged a security deposit upfront, which was not mentioned anywhere before, was told it was in case I smoke or damage the room. Get in the room pull back the comforter and there are cigarette sized holes in the blanket. The bathroom was dirty, hair shavings on the toilet seat, moths and other bits of stuff on the floor, stained towels, long hairs on the walls, etc. Told the guy at the desk the next morning about the holes in the blanket, same guy, still very aggressive. Was told they ordered more, they weren't there yet and I wouldn't be charged for it. I asked the blanket be changed and he said they didn't have anymore and I would be credited 20%. I returned to the room about 630pm and it hadn't been cleaned, bed wasn't made, they simply replaced the towels. Upon check out I asked about the credit but the manager said he had to talk to the other guy and figure out what happened. Never got my credit. I get it's a 1 star hotel, but at least clean the rooms.

Not stoked on this location. I’ve stayed at dozens of motel 6’s all across the US, since I have two very small, very well behaved dogs. The lady at the front desk was short and cold. She left for a while and when she came back told me I had to leave a $50 deposit. I said I was surprised to hear this, seeing as normally there will be a notice of such charges. She said I was notified. I checked my email and the website and it had no such charges listed. In fact, under additional charges it said only that there are taxes on top of my reservation. I showed her this and she shoved the key to the room under the protective barrier without so much as saying which room I was heading to and glared at me. Yikes. The room itself smells like smoke (even though it’s a “non smoking room”) and mold. There are flies, the floor is torn up, and there is hair and mildew all over the bathroom. I know this isn’t a luxury brand, but this is sub bar in all aspects.

Rude. I asked a question about the pet fee since we’ve stayed in many motel 6’s and never charged a pet fee. He started to yell at me and when I told him there was no need to argue and be rude, he said he didn’t care. They also did not refund the $75.00 pet charges even though our pet did not damage to the room or property.

The bathrooms and amenities weren't really a problem though when my fiance and I got to the room one of the bedside light bulbs was out and not working. Told the housekeeper (extremely nice!) And even now (a week later) it still has not been fixed. The front desk manager got an attitude with me when I needed my key re-keyed because I got it too close to my phone and wiped it. It was the only time it's happened and was the second time I has interacted with him. You'd be better off going to a laundromat too because even though the washer and dryer say 25 cents it costs $2.50 and the machine wouldn't return my change. You'd be better off staying anywhere but here.

Rooms are greatly improved from where they were years ago. They updated them. Shower water was hot. I noticed a smell of chemicals to kill bugs that was strong. Housekeeping did respond with fresh towels daily. The management was very nice.

I believe the guy at the front desk makes his own prices and seems to have a bad attitude if I used my debit or credit charges a deposit on top of my room fee smh Never experience these issues with other motel 6 locations. And also I believe check out should be whatever time I come in should be the same time the next day

Sunday afternoon guy had a back in 5 minutes sign although I clearly saw him in office . After a wait.. he was rude. Told him I would not stay Monday . He didn't care. Cracked mirror in bathroom and small bed. Btw. The housekeeping crew was great. They and the evening desk clerk on Saturday night are better than this motel deserves.

Nothing but positive things to say about this hotel! Been here for about a month. Was only planning on staying a few nights but this place is great. I have been living in extended stay hotels for the last 4 years in my work as a writer and journalist...came to Cleveland to get some work done at the VA Hospital here..drove here and had a reservation at another hotel that got messed up, so after driving for 17 hours straight had to find a local hotel..didn't know much about this area, but came upon this place and couldn't be happier! Staff is great...the ladies at the front desk and the housekeeping crew work extremely hard and it shows. The manager has been helpful as well. All the outside areas are clean and well maintained. Room is good...bed is comfortable, room is clean, and it's pretty quiet. WiFi works great and the kitchenette is a nice touch. Above all it's clean and well taken care of. Everything works for the most part. I liked it so much I am planning on staying here for the next couple of months while I am getting work done at the VA. The area is good. Lots of really cool restaurants, tons of food stores and close to the Cleveland Metro Parks and hiking trails. All in all nice place to stay. This place is a gem.

Room was nice and spacious when we checked in it was very clean. We was advised at check in (when money was non refundable) that if we left our pet unattended they will call dog Warden. We travel for work and work evenings. I emailed and called motel6 they emailed motel manager. A employee called and all he could say is it's our policy. Also house keepers come in when we not there but do nothing but replace a towel that was used. VERY DISAPPOINTED 😞☹️

The parking lot had huge potholes, the motel had some sketchy characters, and the squad cars didn't seem to be present for the safety of the guests more than their potential apprehension. You'd seriously think that it was located in a bad area. However, it's located in a quiet suburb. The room wasn't bad though. I was actually surprised.

Me and my wife stayed for 4 weeks straight, The place was clean and room service came daily , i felt like home and enjoyed our stay there. Fast internet with no noise or disturbances. The reception was great and handled our requests in a timely manner and professionally Best motel 6 so far , had to say goodbye to each room service personnel as we got used to seeing them daily, they were really great

Remember those old commercials advertising motel 6 when they put forth the Great excitable exclamation will leave the light on for you? Well thank god this hotel in this present heat wave leave the air conditioning on in the room prior to the arrival of the guest. It is amazing what I received for $66 compared to what I paid for over $200 recently for a hotel in downtown Salt Lake City where they did not have the air conditioner on prior to arrival. It was 111° in Utah that day and the air only worked if you were in the room because of emotion detector. So for 1/4 of the price I have a beautiful room renovated with a parking lot that has recently been resurfaced in an exterior outside that clearly indicates the inside will be spotless. This is the best motel 6 I have ever stayed and I want to give a shout out to Jen at the front desk who helped me and was kind because to be honest I was in one heck of a mood when I showed up because of some results I had at the Cleveland clinic. Anyhow I'm grateful and I truly recommend this place without any hesitation.

We stayed the weekend of September 30th and we were pleasantly impressed. The rooms were clean. Towels and linens were fresh and we were able to bring our 🐾 pet. They even provide pet waste bags so it’s not left in the yard. The staff was friendly and helpful. I wanted an extra blanket and had one within moments of my request. We’d definitely stay again !.

5 star stay. When people think of Morel 6…. Well, it doesn’t have the best reputation. We were desperate to find a place that would accommodate 5 of us and 5 dogs, so we needed 3 rooms. That in itself gets expensive! Motel 6 has a “pets stay free” policy so sometimes it’s just easier when traveling. This Motel 6 far supersedes any other one and rivals most more expensive places. Bobby was super nice and accommodating. Our rooms were super spacious with mini kitchens and comfy beds. Everything was clean, fresh and the grounds were clean and well lit. We used the laundry facility, which was immaculate and has an excellent commercial washer and dryer for guest use…BONUS! 10/10 would stay here again.

Everything good I like the people attending this place , is clean and rooms are good. No carpets which is good. Except for the promise of coffee. I woke up to get my coffee, they said at 7 but there was no coffee

Seemed like a safe area and you get what you pay/ask for in terms of rooms and the service. The room had more walk-able space than I typically anticipate with a hotel, and the showers were pleasant. Good food options nearby.

Clean quiet room but not the best neighborhood. There are people that live there as well. Get what you pay for. Last night there, the breaker blew in the bathroom. We were not able to turn on the light to shower the next day, or all the lights would turn off. We were awakened at 8:30 am and told to move the car for parking lot resealing.

There was blood on the floor in my room. Also the wyt housekeeper was very rude. She walked past my room and said with an attitude "great, this one has a dog". She was also actively cleaning rooms while smoking a cigarette which I think is gross. The towels in the room are very short and smelled like they were dried but not washed. The lobby staff was very kind and accommodating.

Room was adequate, accept showr didn't work. They ask for $100 deposit upfront for incidental charges which is full refundable. I left in August 8 and STILL have yet to receive my refund. .

The gentleman on the phone, Bobby, was the rudest human being I have EVER encountered. Whoever owns this Motel 6 should think about him as the face and voice of your business. He is down right rude and inconsiderate, and your policies are so backwards I will never understand how you guys stay in business. He needs training on how to speak to people in general. Again, RUDE RUDE RUDE.

You get what you pay for... you can see tot he outside due to missing /ripped door seal - does create an issue when it gets really cold out. Floor in the bathroom was collapsed by the toilet, and that one was moving... room was small with very little space for clothes. Towels were probably last upgraded in the 90s... but again, for what you pay for it, it could be much worse.

We really enjoyed the newly renovated room with a mini kitchenette. A pleasant surprise as it was more than we expected. Along with the value for the room and the location close to the freeway it was a home run. Thank you. Five star even though it is a Motel 6. We will be back. Only odd thing is they put a $50 security deposit on my credit card. It was promptly refunded the next day after checkout so be prepared for that.

I loved the little kitchenette in the room. I was visiting Cleveland to spend the day at the west side market with my sister, and I was able to buy all sorts of tasty things since the room had a fridge.

If these reviews get deleted, we can see how the humanity is dead by now. 1. Room's bathroom door's lock was broken, still we were told to adjust for the night without giving us any discount. 2. I found an insect in the bathroom near mirror. 3. Even though we had paid for the whole stay, we were miss treated considering we are Indians. Completely racist owners. 3. The lady owner was very rude. Prior to arrival itself, we had confirmed about the number of members can stay in a room, but yet, this lady owner shouted on us saying they did a favour on us.

I been in Cleveland for 2 months for work. My husband,my ESA dog and I. Motel 6 website listed pet friendly and pets stayed for free. So seeing the price was better by week them the hotel we was at( which had no pet policy) we decided that moving would help us save. Or so we thought. When we got to motel 6 the Manger, Bobby told me that ionly could keep my pet for one week they had a 2 day pet policy and I had to pay 150.00 deposit for my dog. So my week was up and I found out the job site we had 2 weeks left of work and we was done. So I went ask if I could just keep myESA dog, and he replied "No I told you one week that's it, you can stay dog must go" well Thursday took my dog home 4 hour trip there and 4 hour back. By Saturday my health was getting worse due to my dog being away I had to go home, due to that I had to leave my job and get a rental car to return to Cleveland so I can collect all my things from hotel. So motel 6 cost me alot of pain, suffering and alot of Financial damage due to there false advertising and there prejudice act over dogs.

Nice clean rooms. Freshly updated. New tile in the shower. Super hot water with good water pressure. Wood floors, no carpets! It was just what I needed. Reasonable, clean room for work with no surprises. Safe, there were no incidents while I was here. I heard no complaints from the other guys staying here.

Pleasantly surprised with this motel 6! Modern and updated! Safe area in town. Clean room, had everything we could need for a couple night stay! Staff were friendly and accommodating. Great price! giving this a 4/5 star just bc it's a motel 6 but very happy with it over all!

Just save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. Don't know if the rooms are nice or not, didn't make it past the front desk staff. EXTREMELY RUDE!!!! Couldn't get into the lobby at 8pm even tho the sign states it closes at 10pm. I'm here on business and didn't know much about the area so I just pulled into the 1st place I saw.

The housekeeping staff entered my room after I requested that they didn’t enter my room because I didn’t need any services that day and went into my room after I left anyway. When I got back to my room I noticed that my belongings had been moved around and some were missing. I immediately went to the front desk and the owner informed my husband and myself that it is the duty of his staff and that per policy are allowed to enter a guests room to “check the motel property for damage and cleanliness and I must’ve misplaced my belongings”. The owners and staff are shady, rude and disrespectful along with an outrageous amount of drug traffic and emergency response happening regularly!!
